The checking was fast,the staff is friendly the room was clean.parking in the back overall very very good

Inexpensive clean room but not much service . The restaurant in the hotel was good and the pool was clean and well cared for. Overall a good hotel but again long at the counter, not much respect for others time, and the amenities were lacking.

We liked the service and confort of the hotel

Hotel is very convenient for the rate. Good cleanliness and staff is courteous. From a location point-of-view, it's easy to find and get to but require a drive to explore the old Quebec. we checked in with a couple of very efficient and polite ladies at the front desk. They answered all of our questions. We found the room to be more than we thought, maybe because of the low rate compared to some of the others we had checked out. Nice clean rooms, big beds, contemporary bathrooms, comfy pillows and comforters. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Free parking is a plus. The hotel is located about 15 minutes from Old Quebec city and a taxi cost us $26.00 to the old port. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay for your trip to Quebec it's worth a visit. Not the ritz but a good little hotel. The only negative point for me is that the bathroom was a little old . The walls of the shower were dirty. Overall good do.

Easy to get to. Easy to get out of the city. Easy to get to Old Quebec. The staff were all bilingual and very helpful. The lobby is the nicest part of the whole hotel. Our room was nice enough (stylish and clean) for the cheapest room they had. The bedding and pillows were great. The beds were too firm for our liking. The TV was ancient. The room did […] not have enough lighting. Access to outside wasn't all that great for making trips to our car. The bathroom needs a serious face-lift (there was water damage, the tiles were cracked, and the caulking was coming apart). We did like the soap and shampoo dispenser. Hotel conveniently located to Old City. Public transportation is available around the corner. No coffee maker in room, no complimentary breakfast and a cup of Keurig pod coffee in lobby costs $2.75. McDonalds is across the street. We left the room at 8 AM and upon returning at 6 PM room still not made up. After repeated calls it was made up at 7:30 […] PM. The hotel is very convenient drive to the city, but the hotel room is nothing but a room and a bathroom. Not even a coffee maker for early morning coffee, instead you have to buy a cup of coffee at the front desk for $1.75. No safebox to keep valuables. Not even a small refrigerator nor microwave.

The hotel has upgraded much of the building but our bathroom had missed the upgrade. The room was very tight, but modernized. There was an unreasonably high charge for our dog making the nigh cost equivalent to a much nicer hotel. This was an OK place to stay, but I'd think twice before using it again.

We recently stayed here for a night. Not only were there stairs going up, then down, and then up again to get to our room but the hotel had no bell hop nor did they offer to assist me with bags. The room smelled, was dirty, and the bathroom was barely usable both due to size and cleanliness. When I called the front desk to request the internet password, […] the sleezy man on the other end said "we normally charge for internet but I'm in a nice mood today so I won't." Really? Læs mere

We arrived earlier than anticipated yet we were given a room right away. It was bright, clean and cool. We also had supper and breafast in the Hotel restaurant and found the wait staff very pleasant and efficient. The food was good. Altogether, a pleasant experience.

No coffee in rooms and you have to pay $10 for wifi with the economy rooms. No shared microwave either! Shocking! I've been in broken hotels that cost half as much where they give at least coffee and free internet. Even McDonalds gives free wifi! Staff recommended a shuttle bus at $3 each instead of letting us know parking is $6 downtown since it's […] Saturday. Was also disappointed to see a sign at a hotel right next to it displaying half the price but had already purchased the room. Learned my lesson - if it's a hot spot (like NY) book in advance, otherwise find out where the hotels are and book there - and bring a kettle! Læs mere

Hotel quartier Quebec

There is no free wireless internet service in the hotel, although both the room description and the hotel information sheet in the room say the hotel would provide complementary wireless internet. The washroom is not that clean, a lot of grout on the tiles

beautiful except the pool area windows were very dirty and spider webs and venetian blinds were broken. otherwise a modern, beautiful hotel.

We were very satisfied and certainly will consider this hotel again. The breakfeast menue was basic, would have liked some more choices.

Our stay was pleasant and the main thing missing was a coffe maker in the room so we can have hot water when we need it to warm up for medication of baby food. Thanks for advising the direction of Hotel Quartier.

Overall I was happy with my stay. Positives: good price, comfortable room, modern layout, convenient parking, good restaurant attached to the hotel - I enjoyed the breakfast, friendly staff. Areas to improve: shower made a very high pitched sound which really bothered my mother, location is about a 15-20min drive from old town, front desk clerc told […] us to take our luggage all the way around the hotel when our room was not far behind the reception desk. Hotel Quartier allowed us to check in earlier than the regular time and that was very helpful to us because that way we could enjoy longer the stay in Quebec city and visit more places. The attention received at the hotel on arrival was very good and the information given to us to move around the city was excellent.

The staff was very courteous and professional, a vital asset to have multilingual staff as some of our family members did not speak French during our stay. Convenient location close to major attractions; the staff was very helpul in assisting us with several directions to specific attractions we wanted to see.

The hotels is clean & relative new. Only 4 miles ride to old Quebec city. Will stay there again.

We found Hotel Quartier easy to locate and a straight shot down Laurier, to the old city. It is competitivly priced for the area, recently refurbished, and pet friendly! Local restaurants ran from expensive to McDonalds. Close to St. Foy train station, too. Unfortunately, the ventilation system allowed cigarette smoke into our room at night, despite […] a no smoking policy. I think there should always be a little fridge in the rooms and the lights over the bed is not good they should on each side of the beds...
