Hotellet er fint og i storartet sovjetisk stil. Placeringen er imidlertid lidt skidt, da det ligger midt mellem to metrostationer med en kilometer til hver, så der er lidt langt at gå, når man skal et sted hen. I forhold til byen er hotellet en tand for langt ude for min smag. Der er ca fire km til centrum, og byliv med butikker og cafeer slutter ligesom ved Belaruskaya stationen, hvorefter den sidste km til hotellet er mere motorvejsagtig uden butikker og noget mindre muntert miljø.

Meget pænt hotel. Gode engelsk kundskaber. Fin morgen-buffet med stort udvalg. Pæne værelser i fin standard. Beliggenheden er dog lidt afsondret, selvom der kun er 10 minutters gåtur til metroen. Vejen er nemlig ikke særlig god.

Placering.
Hotel Peter I ligger i hjertet af Moskva og er tæt på Bolshoi-teatret, Den Røde Plads og St. Basil's Cathedral. I nærheden er også Moskva Kremlin og Statens historiske museum.

Hotel Peter I har spabad med fuld service, et motionscenter og en indendørs pool. Gratis trådløs forbindelse til internettet er til rådighed i fællesarealerne, og der er et internetpunkt på stedet. "Nice Hotel at excellent location"
Really nice room, nice staff, excellent location near Kreml and with nice restaurant near to the hotel. (go out of the hotel, turn right, then walk for 100meter, turn right at the first road, and walk for 200 meter, and there is a nice walking street with restaurants). The breakfast was ok, with a decent but not overwhelming amount of food to choose […] from. The pool is downstairs, and is ok for some relaxing, but not big enough for serious swimming. Hotellet er meget centralt beliggende i centrum af Moskva. Standard og service lever fuldt op til et femstjernet hotel, og prisen i forhold til andre hoteller i Moskva er rimelig.

"Hotel Peter I close to everything in Moscow"
Very nice hotel, close to Red Square, to old city and underground. Big rooms, kind personnel and very clean. Breakfast is very good and has very big choice. Minus - Internet is not for free in rooms. Only in lobby. Otherwise very nice hotel.
"Some issues that was problematic"
1) Breakfast till 10:30 only 2) No Free WI-FI in the rooms. You can get internet for quite high payment 3) Air conditioning switched off in the winter so it was too hot in the room and you don't have the ability to control it For this price I expect more services and comfort !
"Still good but worsening"
Peter the First is still cheaper than other neighbouring hotels at this golden spot: Marriott Aurora, Ararat Hayatt, Savoy... The rooms are still spacious but keeping the price they gradually decrease the quality of service: cheaper toilettaries, toilet paper etc. Breakfasts are still ok but here they also switch to more affordable staff: some awful […] Russian jam instead of DArbo, no more bottled Pepsi etc. Still the best choice for me when visiting Moscow. Conveniently located; generous breakfast buffet; not-so-comfortable bed giving a feel of plastic coating and too much heated up; considering the high room rates a lack of complimentary coffee/tea making facilities in the room and the lack of free WiFi is not a good sign - but still...
"Peter the 1st hotel in Moscow"
Being from the US, I've always wanted to go to Russia & thought Moscow was best. I learned before picking a hotel, that in Moscow, they are very expensive and generally are so so. There was nothing wrong with this hotel but it was more like a 3-3.5 star at a pricey rate. Other than that, all the staff spoke pretty good English, the concierge was helpful, […] the restaurant had a great dinner special and was fantastic, and the room was fine. We decided not to use the metro to get to the hotel from the airport since I read about how confusing it is (no English translations) and the potential of getting robbed. So we arranged before hand with the hotel and paid the $100 USD for a car to pick us up - very pricey but it was a nice Mercedes and we felt safe. The hotel is very close to all the major attractions. I'm not sure I would go to Russia again in the future, but if I did, I would stay at this hotel again Læs mere

Moscow is all about location and price- so it depends on the price you get the room for. On this trip the price was a fraction of other hotels around the Kremlin (e.g. a quarter of the price of the Ritz). Ok, it's not the Ritz but does it really matter that much? Lovely, well run hotel easy walk to the Kremlin and Red square. Neighborhood easily accessible by subway from the airport . Lovely, well appointed breakfast with food for all nationalities. They were even ind enough to recook the bacon for me. Very good value for the area as other hotels cost significantly more. Concierege was extremely helpful and […] spoke english when absolutly no one lelse did. Room was spacious and very quiet. I asked for a bathtub and the front desk was very kind to as me to wait for an hour for the room to be available as only showers were in the single rooms. Læs mere

This hotel was in excellent condition (apart from the renovation on the lobby, see above). The staff was personable, the guests from everywhere, not just one country. Attractive throughout.

Great location, excellent breakfast. Staff helpful when requests were made, though without a smile - that's ok, it's Russia. Room very clean and comfortable including flat screen tv, safe, robes and slippers etc. Not the plushes room i've ever stayed in, but perfectly acceptable and pleasant. "Very good Hotel in excellent area"
Stay was for four days at the end of May 2010. We chose this hotel based upon it's location to Red Square, Bulshoi and Metro and also the reviews from Hotels.com. This site did not disappoint! For European standards it had very big rooms, very clean and a pretty darn good breakfast included in the room rate. Didn't think the staff was overly friendly....but […] then again, Russians aren't overly friendly to outsiders to begin with. We had zero problems at this hotel. "Tourist/ Business Hotel"
Good Location and safe to walk about, plenty of Bars and Restaurants to try. Nice pool and Sauna in the basement. Staff are polite and efficient. Good value for money by Moscow standards.

"Ecellent hotel"
Great location! Free parking right outside the hotel. Free breakfast was nice also. Usually 5 stars don't come with breakfast. Room and bed was very nice as well.

My first experience with this hotel came at the front desk. This is supposed to be a highly rated, international hotel located within a posh neighborhood a mere stones throw away from Red Square – as such, one would expect a minimum level of proficiency in the English Language. Regrettably, this was not the case. My check-in took absurdly long, the […] ladies at reception became frustrated that I did not speak Russian well, and I could not for the life of me impress upon them that I needed Internet access. My room did not access to a minibar (this is a problem because I could not access any bottled water), and the television was pay to watch – meaning you had to watch movies at an exorbitant, rate or no Tele at all. I never got Internet access, and a meal was nearly as costly as the room rate. Moscow was magnificent, expensive (even for this world traveler), and most importantly, the star rating (especially in Moscow) is like almost everything else in Moscow, over rated! Læs mere
"Good Hotel - Would stay again- Great value"
Overall the hotel is very nice and kind of fancy. I normal stay at marriots and felt this hotel just the same but less expensive. The gym was not very impressive. One bike and 2 treadmills and few weights. Gym hours are not great, 7am-10pm What really impressed me was the small price for incidentals.. Like room serivce and movies. I always have a big […] check price because of these. After a week of movies everynight, room service once to twice a day, a incredible massage and taxi service. My extra was 300 dollars and i expected it to be closer to 1,500. Great FREE breakfast came with hotel except I did not know it was free. The red square is 5 minute walk from hotel. This is not a five or even four star hotel... There is no bathtub and a tiny shower... I've never seen a smaller tv in a hotel room... All in all, this hotel was not up to standard...

First night: Disinterested staff at check in (not the warm welcome you get at other hotels). Put us in a room where air con was broken, toilet/bathroom had dry remnants of vomit, safe was broken and noise excessive. Complained and then moved to another room which was satisfactory - but no apology for the inconvenience or offer of assistance to move […] rooms. "Excellent hotel"
We stayed at the hotel for 5 days (7/10/09-7/15/09). Terrific location. Outstanding breakfast. Very clean. Room was a good size and well appointed (pillow menu!). Outstanding services from concierge – thank you Masha, Sveta and Dima! They went above and beyond to satisfy every need. Definitely will stay again!

"Great location for tourists"
The location of this hotel for tourists cannot be faulted. Close to Red Square , Metro close by, it is all there. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fine , the taxi service for airport transfers was something I am glad we used as the rest of the taxi's were a rip off, BEWARE. "Das Hotel Peter 1 liegt sehr zentral"
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichen. Zwei U-Bahn Stationen sind jeweils 5 Min. zu Fuss vom Hotel entfernt. Das Frühstück ist ausgiebig, die Bedienung im Frühstücksraum etwas langsam. Man muss sich öfters bemerkbar machen, bis sich ein Kellner / eine Kellnerin entschliesst, zum Tisch zu kommen und Kaffee […] / Tee zu servieren. "Prima hotel in centrum van Moskou"
Voor de eerste keer een goed centraal gelegen hotel gevonden in Moskou. Prijs is redelijk in vergelijking met andere hotels. Service was prima tot 3 bussen Italianen arriveerden. Chaos in de lobby en bij het ontbijt. Ook mijn kamer was aan het eind van de dag nog niet opgemaakt. Toch blijft dit hotel een aanrader!

Hotel is very good situated, very close to the main attractions (about 10 min to the Red Square or Bolshoj theater and tube stasion). Breakfast was fantastic, with a large choice ot food, most european, with a lot of fruits and vegetables. There was splendidly to freshen up in the small but very nice swimming pool in this very hot weather (august 1-3, […] 2010). to girls working there were very kind and attentive. Hotel staff in general was trained and kind, speak very good english. hotel's Interior (espesially lobby og restaurant) fits the name decorated in Baroque. "Nice Hotel"
The hotel is very nice and it met 5* standard. The price is reasonable We stay at the room with two beds, the breakfast is very nice. The only problem for us is that Air Quality is very bad in Moscow during our stay July 17 - Aug 5, 2010. I strong recommend the hotel to other clients. Regards, Chan

El hotel está muy cerca del Kremlim, plaza roja, teatro Bolshoi, etc,. Hay una estación del metro muy cerca que permite el acceso a toda la ciudad, desde el aereopuerto se puede llegar en el tren hasta una estación del metro y despues dos paradas mas se llega a la que está cercana del hotel.
