Hotellet ligger meget centralt, tæt på den indre bydel i Wien. Rathaus metrostationen ligger 200 m fra hotellet. Deluxe-værelset vi boede i var flot indrettet, men alt for lille. Jeg har tidligere boet på Hotel Am Konzerthaus, der har tilsvarende standard/pris/beliggenhed, men langt større rum og bedre morgenmadsbuffet. Fint hotel i gåafstand til hele indre by og offentlige transportmidler. Intet at sætte fingeren på. Kommer gerne tilbage en anden gang!

Velholdt, service meinded personale, en god seng på grund af den gode pris, blev vi meget overrasket over hotelles standard. Et hotel vi vil bruge nlste gang vi tager til vien pg har noteret hotelkædens navn, så vi vi se om de har hotel i de byer vi rejer til.

et rigtigt dejligt hotel med udsøgt service. Måske skulle toitetdøren ikke være så gennemsigtig !! men ellers ingen klage

Virkelig dejligt hotel. Centralt placeret tæt på alt og i en rolig sidegade med meget lidt trafik. Rigtig god morgenmad som også kan nydes udendørs i dejlig gårdhave. Hotellet fremstår flot og nyt og værelset var meget pænt, og med et virkelig dejligt badeværelse.

Godt hotel, god morgenbuffet og fredelig beliggenhed. Både sporvogn og U-Bahn lige i nærheden. Vi havde bestilt et superior rum og fik først anvist et pænt men ganske lille værelse. Da vi henvendte os og venligt gjorde opmærksom på, at det ikke levede op til vores forventninger, fik vi straks et andet værelse, som var rigtig nydeligt og hvor der var […] god plads. Hotellet ligger dejlig centralt. Servicen er god, men internetforbindelsen er svær at komme på, den er langsom og med en begrænset kapaciet, hvior man for hurtigt "bliver smidt af".

Hotel Josefshof er et virkeligt godt hotel med god beliggenhed, da det ligger i et både centralt og roligt område. Værelseskomfort er god og med dejlige senge. Morgenmaden er et kapitel for sig, hvor absolut intet mangler - lækkert!!! Gårdhave med fin morgenmadsservering.

Meget centralt beliggende først i bydelen Josefstadt. Tæt på centrum og med sporvogn 2 lige rundt om hjørnet også tæt på Museums Quartier. Ældre, ærværdigt hotel godt renoveret med tip-top værelser. Bydelen Josefstadt er en dejlig afveksling til det voldsomme turistmylder i 1. Bezirk.

Hotellet er beliggende meget centralt i forhold til seværdigheder og offentlige transportmidler.

Stayed here for 4 days. Very nice place and one of the cheepest we could find. Breakfast not included but very large brunch buffet available for extra. Waiters with excellent service. Some of the people in the reception were not really giving that little 'extra' that makes you praise it all to the sky but over all a very good stay. Hotellet, og vores ophold der, levede ovenud op til vores forventninger. Sammenlignet med prisen, får man virker value for money. Hotellet har en lækker standard, pæn indretning, god komfort - og en virkelig kanon beliggenhed, nærmest lige på "Ringen", og tæt på MariaHilferStrasse (den store shoppinggade), samt BurgStrasse hvor det bugner med små fine […] restauranter og cafeer. Hotel Josefshof er et nyrestaureret og fremtræder velholdt både ind- og udvendigt. Meget tæt ved U-bahn og i gåafstand fra hele Wien centrum. Ligger tæt ved det charmerende Spittelberg kvarter med mange gode små restauranter og barer, også med udendørsservering. Hotelpersonalet er ualmindeligt hjælpsomme. Små værelser uhøflig betjening

Enjoyed it very much. Especially the comfy bed and large tub. I brought some maps with me from the Internet but, they were not too helpful. Coming from the airport, Take the CAT to the city station. Get on the number U3 subway and take it to the U2, go to Rathaus Station and you are just a hundred yards away.

we enjoyed our stay in vienna and the hotel was very good location the staff were fantastic and helpful

Clean, classic, chic. A good hotel for our last two nights in Europe. Convenient to the U-Bahn, the English Theater, the Volkstheater, decent Greek and Viennese restos and two classic cafes--the Raimund and the Eiles. Also a Billa market. . We could have used a CD player and coffee maker in our room, which was well decorated and ultra modern in its […] plumbing and lighting details. An excellent Macintosh computer was available in the lobby. Service was polite and quite competent. This hotel is well priced and extremely well located for everything - sight seeing, shopping trains etc. Also has super helpful and friendly staff and comfortable rooms.

Everything very good except for the WiFi and the cost of the breakfast. On the third floor the internet connection it was very patchy and the cost of the breakfast was exorbitant. A professional and well run hotel in a very central location.

The hotel is fairly small and old. Though it has some basic facilities, and the breakfast is ok (though expensive) it really should not have a four star mark. Maybe the luxury rooms are something special, but the basic single and double is not. There is a nice cafe close by though, cafe provinz, and it is relatively close to the university. Excellent hotel, especially for the location. All the main sites are within walking distance and the underground station is round the corner. Although we were very pleased with our room, we would say this was more a 3star hotel rather than a 4 star by British standard. Still, it was excellent value for money.

Very nice quite hotel in a very conveniently situated close to the main turist atractions of the city. However we did find that the breakfast was excessively expensive , asit was over double the price of a similar breakfast in surrounding cafes. The bottle of water supplied in the room was four time the price of an identical bottle in the local super […] market.. Being from England the one item missing from the room ,was the lack of tea making fascitites, only coffee.Which we do not drink. The hotel is situated very close to all the main attractions in Vienna. With walking distance to Rathaus, StaatsOpera, Stephansplatz through the Hofburg streets, and also close to shopping at Mariahilferstrassse, this hotel is worth a try. Two subway stations lies also close, and it's easy to move around Vienna with the sub. In the narrow alley, the […] noise from the streets are also less. The hotel is near the museum quarter. Affordable price but nothing fantastic. My room was small but had a queen bed, patio, and two night stands. Would recommend.

would have been better if there was tea/coffee maker in room as we could not always get these in the bar area. hotel well located and breakfast really good

we stayed in the hotel for a week during the new year. when we checked in the hotel was overbooked and we were told we would be staying in the adjoining apartments next door. breakfast was very expensive so we ate out in the city. I don't know how the actual rooms look since we never saw them, however the apartment was large, clean but a surprise and […] slight inconvenience of the toilet being separated from the actual bathroom at the front of the hotel. we prefer small intimate rooms and were unable to watch tv and fall asleep in bed since the tv was located in the living room with cold worn leather sofa. however, the shower was large, towels were always stocked and shampoo and bathwash and soaps always stocked as well. the location was near the new year entertainment and some of the sites however a good 20min walk to anything else or more. when we arrived in the room we asked the clerk who had accompanied us some questions regarding breakfast and the stay and she just kept saying to ask reception. I felt it a little rude. anytime we spoke with reception we both felt the desk clerk would rather be doing something else and had a small issue with the taxi that we were waiting for. other than that the stay was pleasant and the city is big and gorgeous. It was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and spacious. Hotel is next to urban. I surelly recommented.

Convenient for the Rathaus U-bahn, making it easy to get to all parts of the Inner Stadt. We decided to upgrade to a privilege room, and are glad that we did. It was the best sleep we had on this trip. Wonderful location on a quiet side street.

very close downtown, just WIFI does not work, friendly and clean

The hotel was an excellent choice near Rathaus U Bahn station and quite at night. Plenty of places to eat and drink and also walking distance to all the top attractions.

This hotel was located very close to the main Christmas market in Vienna. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. There were some good restaurants in the neighbourhood and there were 2 underground locations in very short walking distance. My only complaint was the room was on the first floor overlooking the street, and close to the stairwell. […] Therefore some mornings were very noisy! Otherwise a nice hotel. Læs mere

The hotel is somewhat convenient, but the staff is not helpful and some were just rude. When asked where we could find the closest Catholic church, the guy at the desk sent us off in the absolute wrong direction, same thing with breakfast. We asked where we could find a simple breakfast (not wanting to pay the 15 Euros they want) he said there was nothing […] open, only to find a charming cafe around the corner with good coffee and friendly wait staff. Spacious, clean, very very good staff, quiet neighborhood, 15 minutes walk from the center of the city.

WiFi is terrible at hotel. Had three encounters with staff who said nothing was wrong, but then admitted the contrary and said there was nothing the could do. Sent a bottle of red wine to room to apologise but still didn't fix problem. We stayed in a premier room. Pillows rather uncomfortable.

Recommended. Very close to main atractions and metro. Confortable, clean and large rooms.

My wife and I stayed at this Hotel for three nights in late October 2011. The Deluxe room was very clean and well maintained. The shower was full size (unusual for Europe). The location is ideal - only 3 blocks from the Rathaus and Parlament. All key inside the "Ring" sites are within comfortable walking distance. Also, the #2 Tram stop is just around […] the corner and convenient. While newly remodeled, the hotel has some charm (does not feel like a business hotel), is in a quiet location, and super convenient. - I think this hotel is not well maintained, the furnitures (eg wood desk, chair) looks very old. The wooden floor also looks old and there were some scratches. I also saw some stains at the corner of the shower. -location was quite good, near to the underground station - The shampoo and shower gel were not replenished after house keeping! The hotel is situated close to underground making it easy to get around. Nice parks, a short walk to lots of attractions and shopping. No in room tea facilities and internet access ok but not the best.

Staff were helpful and professional. Hotel was beautiful.

This hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Rathaus tube stop and just a 10 minute walk from the museums or 15 minutes from the city centre so the location is brilliant. The rooms were as you would expect, clean and well furnished but a little hot. The buffet breakfast seemed dear at 15 euros and there are plenty of nearby places to get a much cheaper […] meal so I wouldn't bother with this. The staff at the hotel were wonderful, very polite and extremely helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again when I return to Vienna - which is a really fabulous city. Læs mere

Pros: Hotel was clean, well priced, conveniently located and generally comfortable. Room service was affordable and grocery stores were near by to pick up little snacks and beverages. Cons: there was quite a variance in the oral English capabilities of the staff so some individuals came off as quite rude.

Great location, butifull hotel, excellent staff. Rooms are a bit small but this is Europe. Excellent value for money.
