Hotel Pod Roza - Krakow

Vi havde et fremragende ophold på Pod Roza. Hotellet ligger helt centralt i Krakow. Hotelpersonalet var rigtig søde og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var rigtig lækker. Vi kan kun anbefale dette hotel og byen!

Faciliteter og service passede fint til prisen. Professionel diskret betjening. Smukt værelse (suite) i international stil. God restaurant med imponerende (italiensk) vinkort.

We had a most enjoyable stay in the Pod Roza. The hotel is very conveniently situated for all the main sights and is only a few steps from The Square. We were fortunate to have a jacuzzi in our bathroom and this was much appreciated after a long day's walking. There was always a plentiful supply of hot water and the breakfasts catered for all tastes. […] We enjoyed one evening meal in the hotel and this was a wonderful experience. The attention to detail was very evident with delicious hot breads from the kitchen as an appetiser. The entite meal was delicious with, again, home-made petit fours to accompany our coffee. Very good location but may be noisy at night. The hotel controls the air conditionning system, you cannot control the unit as you want even if it is in your room. It was too warm in my room and I couln't do anything except turn off the unit.

we stayed at the pod roza for three nights on our arrival from hawaii where we live. we had a wonderful stay. the desk staff was very helpful both for in hotel and outside needs. the hotel entrance gives the impression of being a little shopworn (not unusual for a place that is several hundred years old) but the rooms are spacious and well laid out. […] ours was on the side street and very quiet. the restaurant serves a marvelous breakfast buffet daily with many great choices. the dinner menu is both broad and well prepared. the wine list is reasonable and one of the best and most extensive we have experienced anywhere and we travel a lot. this place made us feel like staying longer than we had booked. Best location, fantastic and stylish room. Lovely staff.

This hotel was more than I expected from my first visit to Krakow. The location could not have been more central for such a reasonable price. In fact, I think that we were undercharged for the hotel based both on location and the quality of the hotel itself. Our room was very modern with an amazing bed. It was extremely clean and the features in the […] room left us wanting nothing more from the hotel. My girlfriend was delighted with the heated floors in the bathroom and the jacuzzi bath! The staff were very friendly and courteous. They were helpful with directions, storing our bags after check-out, and all staff were bi-lingual. We had an incident with our room safe and we called down to reception for help. Within 2 minutes a staff member was in our room to help us. I've never had such a quick response to a problem in a hotel! We only ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant but that was excellent with a wide selection of food and drinks. The free wi-fi was excellent also and the speed of the connection was very good. In summary, I would highly recommend staying in this hotel and you would do very well to find a better hotel in Krakow for the price. Læs mere

I prebooked all but my last 2 nights in Krakow. I wanted to upgrade from my perfectly satisfactory, but small and plain room and wanted to be in the center of town without spending a fortune. Found this Hotel Pod Roza online, rates were reasonable and the location was perfect. My room was beautiful with amazingly high ceilings, whirlpool bath, heated […] floor tiles and comfy bed. A classic & beautiful hotel located a few blocks from the Old Town Square. It's great that it's located on the side nearest the train & bus stations, so you don't have to drag your suitcases all through the Rynek. On the 3rd floor I had a beautiufl view of the St. Mary's Church tower, although I think the rooms on levels 1 & 2 are without views. My […] room came with a jaccuzi tub...what a nice surprise! The architecture is amazing...check out the hallways on all floors, & don't miss the "giant's door" near the stairwell going up to level 4. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, although you have to order your coffee & main dishes, & I've had more elaborate spreads at some 3-star hotels in Poland. Also, I have no idea how you are supposed to operate the Italian version of a stairmaster that is in the fitness room...anyone??? I gave up & stuck to the bikes... Located on the top floor with a rooftops' view of Krakow, I do think the hotel could update the equipment. All in all, the hotel & rooms are a classic example of old Krakow architecture... Læs mere

A lovely hotel with exceptionally helpful reception staff who booked tours for us and helped us tremendously when we were delayed in Krakow due to the volcanic ash cloud. We had to stay an extra night and they only charged us the same rate that we had booked via Hotels.com. The breakfast choice was good and varied with a superb buffet and hot food to […] order. The staff serving breakfast were not very freindly which was a shame. Excellent location - a stone's throw for the main square. Fabulous hotel, renovated and decorated in sympathy with it's history. Lovely rooms and 5 star standard bathrooms. Very helpful and efficient staff, and great coffee!

Extremely well situated one block from the Market Square in the center of Cracow. Beautifully redone building with spacious room, gorgeous bath with soaking tub and wonderful air conditiioning. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Small exercise room and sauna. Quiet if you keep your windows close. Hotellet ligger i hjertet av gamlebyen, topp beliggenhet! Rene rom og veldig delikat bad med L'occitane produkter. God frokost og nydelig middag i restauranten. Kan absolutt anbefales, her vi vil bo neste gang vi besøker Krakow!

Vi bodde på Pod Roza 3 netter i desember 2011. Rommet var fint, med koselige møbler med antikt preg- noe som gjør det personlig og trivelig. L`occitane produktene på det lekre marmorbadet var litt ekstra luksus. På bildene i annonsen ser det ut som rommene har badekar, det var det ikke, så det savnet vi. Det var litt støy fra gaten, men ikke plagsomt. Servicen […] på hotellet var grei, men kunne vært bedre, personalet virket litt arrogante og uengasjerte. Frokosten var nydelig, og man kunne bestille egg og kaffe etter egen smak. Deilig! Det var litt trekkfullt og kjølig i frokostrestauranten, men ellers trivelig. At hotellet ligger kjempesentralt med gangavstand til de fleste severdigheter er en stor fordel. Læs mere

Charmigt gammalt hotell med hög standard. 2 min gångavstånd till uteserveringarna på det stora torget. Gratis wi-fi. Väldigt tysta rum, hörde ingenting av grannarna. Parkering ingår. Vi trivdes helt enkelt väldigt bra.

Fint hotell midt i sentrum. Koselig rom. Vinduer som hindret støy fra gaten var bra. Et minus var trimrommet som var det varmeste rommet og det ble for varmt.. Sparsommelig frokost, men helt grei.

Très jolie chambre mansardée sous les toîts avec vue sur la cathédrale - mais avec un très bon confort et une superbe salle de douche - un sauna à l'étage dans une salle de sport équipée ( vélos + tapis de course). På handlegaten Florianska, et kvartal fra den store markedsplassen finner vi hotell Pod Roza. Mer sentralt går det ikke an å bo når du besøker Krakow. Hotellets hyggelige betjening sørger for å oppfylle alle dine ønsker om alt fra utflukter til spa. Vi kan trygt anbefale dette hotellet.
