Hotel liggende 5 - 10 min fra lufthavnen. Meget flinke, serviceminded og engelsk talende personale. Gratis kørsel mellem hotel lufthavn, attraktioner i byen herunder det skæve tårn. Man skal blot bestille kørsel på hotellet, så henter og bringer de dig. Nyere hotel med gode værelser & efter italienske standarder en rigtig god morgenbuffet. kan kun  […] anbefales. Læs mere

Et hotel som kunne ligge hvor som helst i verden, flot og nyt, men uden atmosfære. Kan ikke ligge bedre i forhold til sene/tidlige afgange i Pisa lufthavn, men det er ikke et sted hvor man tilbringer en ferie, medmindre man er indstillet på at skulle køre på udflugter hver dag.

Vi landede i Pisa omkring midnat og havde brug for et hotel tæt på lufthavnen. Vi føler vi fik meget for pengene.

Fint hotel til rimelige penge. Tæt på lufthavn. Gratis hoteltaxi til lufthavn/togstation/byens centrum. Lidt hårde senge, men absolut pæne værelser.

Hotellet ligger kort fra lufthavnen og kan klares med deres egen bus eller taxa. Hotellet er oplagt til en overnatning, og så videre næste dag

Tæt på lufthavnen. Shuttlebus fra hotellet. Udmærket service. Udmærket morgenbuffet. Hotellet kan anbefales.

Vi havde valgt dette hotel, som et pitstop på vores ferie til Firenze, pga dets nære beliggenhed til Pisa lufthavn, hvor vi landede sent. Dog stødte vi ind i problemer, jeg havde bestilt et værelse til tre personer og alligevel fik vi et med kun to senge. Dette gjorde jeg straks receptionisten opmærksom på, og han gav mig uden problemer et nyt værelse. […] Næste morgen, ved checkout fik jeg dog en regning for at skifte værelse... Det var en halvubehagelig overraskelse. Dog er der ingen klager mht. rengøring eller andet. Morgenmadsbuffeten er især anbefalelsesværdig, og staben meget behjælpsom, om end det så koster lidt ekstra dagen efter. Læs mere

Hotellet blev valgt pga sen ankomst (2355) mhp. vidererejse næste formiddag, og opfyldte vores forventninger og behov. Der var pga. den sene ankomst ikke shuttle service til hotellet, som imidlertid ligger ganske tæt ved lufthavnen (under 2 km; en taxa kostede 11,50euro). Vi bookede værelser på hotellet, da vi landede sent i lufthavnen og derfor havde brug for en overnatning i Pisa. Til dette formål er hotellet perfekt !

Vi ankom kl 0.15 og blev modtaget af en smilende receptionist som hurtigt fik os booket ind og givet en nøgle. Morgenmads buffeten var lækker med mange valgmuligheder.

Vi skulle bruge et sted til overnatning inden rejsen gik videre mod kysten næste dag. Fin modtagelse selvom klokken var efter midnat, så det tog ikke mange minutter med tjek ind og udlevering af "nøgle". Morgenmaden var helt ok med rigelige mængder af alt. Vi havde bare bestil 1 overnatning, da vi landede sent med fly fra DK til Pisa, og skulle videre i Italien næste dag - meget positiv overrasket over et så flot hotel til så lav en pris.

Blev mødt af meget lidt servicemindet receptionist Det var en anden ved afrejsen, men også han virkede direkte sur. vi følte at vi kom til ulejlighed. Her var ingen overskud til venlighed Det er alene p.g.a. receptionen, at bedømmelsen er således . Morgenmad ok . Aftensmad i lille taverna nogenlunde - men her var service.

Hotelstandard OK - dog var beliggenhed dårlig, da det ligger i industriområde uden fortov, og det er derfor svært at komme til og fra til fods selvom det er tæt på by.

Almindelig konferance hotel som er rimelig tæt til byen og lufthavn. omgivelse er industrielle og kedelig. sengene er meget fast og morgenmad er ok bortset at tjenerene er langsomt til at holde buffeten ved lige. Ok sted hvis du får det billigt men ikke 4 stjene niveau efter vores opfattelse.

On the plus side, there was a bottle of champagne awaiting us on arrival (and cookies) courtesy of the hotel (at my daughter's request) to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. One of the staff at the reception desk seemed rather impersonal and as though helping a guest was a bother. Others were fine, and the restaurant staff […] were very friendly, though. The free shuttle only ran until 9 pm and needs to be booked a day in advance as it only holds 8 passengers so we had to take a few taxis. We tried to walk from the airport but there's a freeway in the way and no way round it! The hotel itself is so modern that it is a bit lacking in character, and it is in a very industrial and ugly part of town, but it WAS clean and a good base for our mini tour of Tuscany. Læs mere

A fine hotel very convenient to Airport and able to take late arrivals as we flew in so late that we did not check-in till 12.30 am. The free shuttle bus service to the Airport, Train Station and Duomo/Leaning Tower was great. The only disappointment was the poor breakfast, with no salad dishes and poor selections of fruit and pastries on this our last […] day compared with our previous stay in that hotel a week earlier, i.e. inconsistancy in service of breakfast. We - family of 5 - arrived early at this hotel but were able to book into our rooms before heading into Pisa for the day. Hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly providing maps of Pisa and information on attractions and prices. We had a GPS so were able to find parking in Pisa easily - many, many parking areas for those who wish to visit the Leaning […] Tower and the various museums in the area. The Hotel is located about 5 mins drive from the city centre, but public transport from the hotel is a little limited. Those who need to get to the airport need to be aware that there are no shuttle services and a taxi will be necessary - don't know the cost associated with this. We had a car and therefore had no problems with getting around. Car parking was ample, with underground secure parking also provided. Rooms were spacious, clean and well appointed. We had a comfortable nights rest and breakfast was abundant in its choices of cereals, fresh fruit and delicacies. Restaurant is also reasonably priced and meal portions are generous. Would recommend this hotel for those who want to overnight, or spend time looking around Pisa and Livorno (which is close by). We were more than happy with this hotel. Læs mere

We LOVED this hotel!!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. They have a FREE shuttle service that took us to the must-see sights. The breakfast was delicious and the beds were very comfortable. I would defenitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pisa.

Dirty stained carpets, walls and light fittings in room. Breakfast mediocre. Huge conference on a Saturday, blocking breakfast room, all the corridors and reception and creating lots of noise early in the morning. Area around hotel littered with prostitutes after dark, i did not feel sake walking around with my son. We were not offered shuttle bus, […] and reception were grumpy to say the least, especially at check in - making us go back to the car to get another of the groups passports at 2am even though we were carrying a sleeping child. when we arrived we were very worried re the location, however the hotel offered a shuttle service although not advertised in the hotel or offfered by the reception, close to airport, pisa and the train station so easy to travel to Florence. We used the hotel for one night prior to a 7am flight from nearby Pisa airport. Though close by, the route to the airport is tricky and poorly signposted, particularly at night-time, and even Italian locals get lost

They mention a Courtesy Bus, but it was booked up, when I guess if you want it, book it early. This place is in the middle of nowhere, cost at least €10 to get anywhere.

This hotel is ideal for 1 night if a hotel close to the airport is needed (<5 minutes). It isalso a short drive to the main sights in Pisa where parking is fairly easy but expensive. I wouldn't choose to walk out from this hotel at night, but as there is nowhere to go to nearby it doesn't matter. Breakfast was good without being inspiring, except for […] the tea/coffee which wasn't hot. Directions to the hotel are quite difficult to follow, but as you can see it from the main airport road this is less important. My satnav wouldn't plan a route to the hotel. Læs mere

pity the free shuttle bus now stops at 10-30 pm but taxi is only 10 euro. great breakfast and very pleasant staff. how can they do it for that price?

Very comfortable hotel and very close to the airport so extremely convenient if travelling to and from the airport.

It is in a rather rough neighborhood, although it seems as though most of Pisa is a bit rough around the edges, but the hotel is perfectly acceptable for a short stay before going to the airport. The room was extremely hot. We were assured the AC was on and working, but it didn't coold the room at all the whole time we were there. Very close to airport. Clean, efficient. A littel noise from the major road. Good shuttle service to the airport. Good if you arrive late and don't want to battle to town or are moving on early ther next day.

BOTH GENTLEMEN AT THE RECEPTION WERE NO GENTLEMEN AT ALL.THEY WERE ARROGANT,UNHELPFUL,DISCURTEOUS AND GENERALLY DID NOT GIVE A HOOT,ALTHOUGH THE HOTEL WAS NOT BUSY.THEIR ATTITIDE AND ARROGANCE TOWARDS THEIR GUESTS STINKS!

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Pisa airport and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms which were well appointed and very clean. The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the centre of Pisa ( we chose to walk which took about 25 minutes each way ).The airport is about 7 minutes easy drive,very convenient.Food […] in the hotel restaurant was limited in choice but of reasonable quality if a little expensive. Perfect location if you are in transit--close to the airport, easy taxi service to the train. Free breakfast and reasonably priced buffet dinner very helpful/generous.

We stayed there 10/3/2009. We were keept waiting to check in with only one person checking in people. The person ahead of us had a problem. took 10 to 15 min to get to us. The room had dust all along the connor of the rug along the wall where the Vac could not reach. Other than that we were happy with our stay

We had a late arrival to Pisa and were picking a car up in the morning. The hotel was conveniently located for our arrival and departure. Although we didn't use the facilities everything seemed to be open on our arrival and the breakfast was good. The staff booked a taxi for us and we were able to sit in the lobby after checking out. Fabulous room, great value, 5 minutes from the airport

The hotel Galelei is what it is. It is a very modern hotel which is exceptionally clean and located close to both the airport and the centre of Pisa. Unfortunately although it is almost walking distance to the airport, the roads are so dangerous that you have to take a taxi and it costs £12 for the 5 minute trip. The food was good at the hotel and […] we had the buffet for £16 which was very good. it is a hotel that you stay in because you have to rather than want to. I asked for a non-smoking room, got a smoking room. The bathroom was just one large room with a shower in the corner (not seperated). After taking a shower the entire floor of the bathroom was flooded with 10mm of water, which made using it after dressed very difficult. Hotel staff was rude. He complained about the definition of a "child" by hotels.com and made it look like it was my fault. Food in the hotel restaurant was terrible (10 euro for one chicken leg?).

Anybody stying at this hotel please read the hotel brochure in your room. It states that the shuttle bus is FREE!!! So don't let them charge you. They tried to do this almost every day, saying it used to be free etc and many more excuses...It states in the brochure its free end of dont let them con you, Otherwise a wonderful stay and breakfast had a […] fantastic range..... This hotel is close to the airport and they run a shuttle service to the airport and train station so I found it great as I was travelling on to Sienna. It was clean and the rooms are comfortable. The staff were really nice. Breakfast was ok.

The room was clean and nicely furnished, including a fridge. Bathroom, with shower, had a good range of shampoo/bath stuff & nice towels (second set were in the wardrobe). Reception staff were polite but not friendly. My Hotel Galilei is clean, modern and extremely convenient to the Pisa airport. It was a perfect selection for our 7:30 a.m. departure the next morning. They do have an airport shuttle, but it didn't run that early in the morning. Cab fare was a reasonable (flat rate) of 10 Euros.
