Vi havde et godt ophold. Morgenmaden var rigtig god med buffet, og meget flotte hvide duge på bordene, som bliver skiftet hver gang, der kommer en ny gæst til bordet.

Vi valgte hotellet til overnatning den sidste nat ifb. med vores tur til Barcelona. Vi tog bussen fra Barcelona til Girona Lufthavn først på aftenen. Alternativet var at stå op kl. 02.00 for at være i lufthavnen meget tidligt næste morgen. Det tager 3 min. at gå til afgangshallen fra Hotellet. Vi vil helt sikkert gøre det samme igen hvis flyet går tidligt om morgenen. Dejligt værelse og der var meget rent. Girona skulle også være seværdig med en gammel bydel, men det nåede vi ikke denne gang.

Hotel Diana er et unikt lille hotel med den bedste placering ift strand, butikker og den smukke gamle borg i Tossa de Mar. Ikke to værelser er ens, og huset fremstår originalt med mange smukke håndværksmæssige detaljer fra dengang huset blev brugt af rige spaniere, der skulle med skib til blandt andet USA. Personalet er imødekommende og der er en meget afslappet atmosfære i og omkring hotellet.
Placering.
AC Hotel Palau de Bellavista by Marriott ligger i Gerona og er tæt på Gironas Bymure, Girona Katedral og Arab Baths. I nærheden er også Castell de Montjuïc og Fira de Girona Convention Center.
Hotelfaciliteter.
Spisemulighederne på dette hotel, der er med luksusfaciliteter, omfatter en bar/lounge. Trådløs internetadgang er gratis i fællesarealerne. Dette hotel med 5 stjerner har forretningsfaciliteter, der omfatter mindre mødelokaler, et møde-/konferencelokale og et forretningscenter. Gerona, som er Cataloniens næststørste by efter Barcelona, er porten til Costa Brava, men de fleste besøgende overser den. Byens historiske centrum er kompakt og atmosfærefyldt med smalle, brostensbelagte gader og stejle bakker. De vigtigste attraktioner er det fascinerende jødiske museum, den fantastiske katedral og de smukke og velbevarede arabiske bade. "Fantastic view - but not from the room"
The hotel has a fantastic view from the bar and terrace, but the rooms are not situated in the same part of the building and therefore do not share this view. Apart from that the rooms are very nice. NB: the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday evening - even in August!

"Pænt, rent og velfungerende"
Vi boede på AC Hotels i Girona som starten på en tur rundt på Costa Brava, og vi var meget tilfredse med opholdet. Hotellet ligger i rimelig afstand fra Gerona-lufthavnen, og med en flot udsigt over Girona by. Værelserne er fine, og der er god service i receptionen og venlig betjening ved morgenmadsbuffeten. Vi fik roomservice-bøffen til aftensmad den […] ene aften - den var over al forventning. Hvis jeg skal komme med et lille minus var det, at hotellet havde lidt for meget fut i den kolde aircondition på fællesarealerne - så vi kørte begge derfra med løbende næser. "AC Palau De Bellavista i Gerona - tæt på byen"
Vi havde sidst i november 3 overnatninger på ovennævnte hotel. Vores søn, som studerer i Gerona, havde anbefalet os hotellet. Vi havde læst om hotellet på nettet, og det var dejligt at opleve, at oplysningerne stemte overens med virkeligheden. Tagterrassen med vue over hele byen er en oplevelse for sig selv. Det var helt igennem en dejligt ophold. Beliggenheden […] er fin, idet det kun tager 10 - 15 minutter at gå til banegården, hvis man enten kommer med toget eller med flyveren. Selve byen ligger også i gåafstand fra hotellet, og det venlige personale var hjælpsomme mht. udflugtsmål. Læs mere
"super hotel med"
Min gode barndomsveninde og jeg overgik begge til pension/efterløn d. 10 okt. og havde besluttet at overgangen skulle vi sammen fejre med en lille rejse sydpå nogle dage, og det blev Girona . Vi har begge tidligere været der på et en dagsbesøg. Jeg fandt hotellet med en særdeles favorabel pris for vores 4 dage. Modtagelse var uproblematisk rent sprogligt, […] da der både var engelsk og fransk talende receptionister. Værelset er veludstyret bla med hvide badekåber og tøfler, gratis minibar på værelset.Badeværelsesudstyret er særdeles velassorteret med tandbørster, tandpasta barbergrej, kam, mm.Restauranten er anbefalet af Michelin, hvilket vi ikke vidste og vi fik en aften en 3 retters menu med et glas vin, vand og kaffe for 25 euro - kvalitetten var i top. "AC in Girona - A perfect stay"
The staff was helpful and accommodating with our situation, the hotel design is awesome, the use of the mini-bar is great and the location and view is unique and beautiful. Highly recommend staying here, but stay for the price.

Stayed 1 night 30/12 2011. Obviously newish hotel, nice decor and quiet. First floor rooms looking out into a closed pebbled court yard is very sterile and dull. Good location with great night views of the city of Girona and only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful old city.Parts of the hotel look a bit prefabbish and I wonder how long it can keep the gloss. […] Free mini bar with soft drinks and couple of beers a nice touch, but the special offer for a few euro for the breakfast seemed a little bit like Ryan Air and not very worthy of the hotel. "Fabulous hotel, in a fabulous town"
Girona was a stop-over town for us but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel has a spectacular view over the town, which as you would expect means a bit of trek down hill to get to anything. We didn't find that a problem at all it was a nice walk. The hotel was very comfortable, the staff helpful. The parking and wifi were free, hotels.com stated these […] would cost us so it's was a nice surprise. Plus the mini bar was also free ( coke, fanta , juice etc, and beer). They also had jazz on their terrace some nights, sadly not the night we were there, that would have really made the stay wonderful. Couldn't fault the place, we will definitely be back. Læs mere
"Great Value and Quality"
We stayed at this hotel when driving from UK to south of Spain. A fantastic hotel with amazing views and really friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and very stylish. There is an amazing terrace with views over the city. Not really a holiday hotel but a pool would have been nice. Our only problem was the restaurant is closed on a Sunday, […] however Girona is beautiful and there are loads of great places to eat so walk down the hill and explore both sides of the river. "AC Hotel in Girona"
I am a very critical hotel guest and I must say that I cannot recall ever having no complaints. The bed was perhaps a bit softer than I prefer but it was still very comfortable. The bathroom had very thoughtful freebies such as a shaving kit and folding tootbrush. I've never been to any hotel anywhere where the entire mini bar was complimentary! "Bellavista - A triumph of style over function."
Very modern, very stylish, very beautiful, with fabulous food, brilliant service and amazing views ...but... the toilet would not flush until we dismantled it and foraged about in the cistern; the trendy coffee table/lamp toppled over as soon as soon as a drink was placed on it - and landed all over my husband's trousers; no spare pillows or blankets; […] the stunning views over the city were obliterated at night by the lighting within the building reflecting off the windows; the carpark was designed to place cars on the mud instead of tarmac; the bathroom washbasin was so shallow it was hard to scoop up enough water to wash with; the golfball shaped soap kept roling off the minimalist sink and onto the floor or into the basin and the attractive photographic glass panels which formed the bathroom walls left little to the imagination. A lovely concept - but I wonder if the designers ever actually tried it out? I would go back for the food, style and service, but my husband prefers dry trousers and would not use this venue again. It is a beautiful, modern hotel with a wonderful view, close to the old town.We found the rooms comfortable and roomy with only a little trouble trying to figure out the air conditioning. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

A very good quality hotel with spacious attractive bedrooms. The hotel has a beautiful terrace with a panoramic view over Gerona. Car parking is free. Food and drink prices were quite high but only to be expected for what I would say is an above average hotel. The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking Gerona and it is a steep walk ( or a 5 Euro taxi […] ride) into the lovely old town in Gerona. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel was a perfect place to stay with a great terrace with amazing views over Gerona. It is a short walk out of into the old town but that makes it a peaceful escape from the hurly burly. It was so nice we came back later in our trip to stay for another couple of nights. "Hotel Bellavista Girona stunning views"
Stayed for 6 nights and it was perfectly fine for us. Easy to find and plenty of car parking with a nice walk into town. Free minibar nice gesture but no tea/coffee in room a minus. Terrace lovely but underused probably because town nicer to have a drink in we found. Missed having a balcony for evening. "Amazing views"
The hotel is atop a hill overlooking Gerona, but the climb is not too steep and the views are really worth it. The outside terrace is very modern and chic. The rooms are clean and have everything you require - including a free minibar. Gerona is well worth a visit for a couple of days with lots of gentle strolls historic sites.
We can highly recommend this very stylish and modern Hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Its a 10 minutes walk uphill from the City Centre but therefore very quiet.

"lovely hotel in excellent Girona"
My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights at the end of September 09 to explore Girona. The hotel is lovely. The communal areas are impressive and very modern and clean. The room is very good and comes with free minibar which is actually beer, soft drinks and water. But still, it is free! We found it hard to control the a/c in the room so […] it always seemed freezing with the a/c on but other than this the room comfort was good. There were free toiletries to use in the bathroom which were replaced daily. We didn't eat breakfast as it was expensive and looked basic so we used to just have a coffee and then walk into Girona for a pastry at what of the many places to eat. I would go back to this hotel. It is up a hill which is tiresome at the end of a long day exploring but it's not that bad. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the old town from the hotel. Læs mere

"Beautiful views"
This hotel is at the top of quite a steep hill with a fantastic view of Gerona. The terrace has shaded seating which is perfect for having morning coffee or late night drinks. The sunsets are spectacular. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful - particularly at providing hot water and milk so I could use my own teabags!
"GOOD STANDARD HOTEL IF YOU CAN TAKE THE CLIMB!"
We have just spent three nights at Bellavista, Girona. The first night was not good as we were put in a 'smoking room' which we specifically did not request but at 9pm was told that we could not change. A nice, smart, clean hotel only a 5-10 minute walk (albeit steep) from the heart of Girona. Well priced from hotels.com for a 5 star hotel I would definately use it on further trips to Girona.
"Poorly Situated"
It is a long uphill walk from the town. Bed is one of the cosiest I have stayed in (excl the MGM Grand in Vegas which tops my list). Staff are very cold and not helpful. Complimentary Airport bus would be expected but not available. Hotel is saving money in the wrong areas. "Clean modern friendly"
Really nice hotel, very clean and the staff were really accomodating. Free mini bar in the room, which was extremely welcoming after a hot day sight seeing (although it only had one beer). Only drawbacks - the hotel was on a hill about 10 minute walk from the centre, no tea or coffee making facilities in your room, and the breakfast was a little […] overpriced - much cheaper to walk into town and breakfast at one of the cafe's, & no swimming pool, which would have been fab on a hot day. We stayed in Gerona AC Palau De Bellavista three nights. It is an excellent base for visiting the area north of Barcelona (like Figueras) and enjoying friendly Gerona in the evening. The hotel is clean and in excellent condition. The service is excellent. We did not use any of the additional facilities so we cannot judge that. "Trevligt hotell med underbar utsikt"
Vi kom direkt efter påskhelgen så det var knappt något folk på hotellet. Men ett mkt fint och trevligt hotell, underbar utsikt över Girona, därmed en mkt fin takterass man kan använda. Även om det ligger uppe på berget är det gångavstånd till gamla stan som är väldigt fin.

Hotel recomendable por situación, comodidad. Prensa gratuita, mueble bar gratuito en la habitación y en el salón del hotel. Atención del personal muy correcta. Algún detalle no nos ha gustado mucho, que no comentaré, porque la impresión general es muy buena.

Mi estancia en el hotel palau de bellavista fue fantastica. El personal del hotel fue muy atento y amable el servicio de limpieza muy eficiente y el hotel muy elegantemente decorado. Ademas la terraza tenia unas vistas preciosas. Es un lugar muy bonito para alojarse con la pareja.
