Everything very nice, except the location. I don't like red light area!!!

My wife and I stayed here, even though we found the staff very helpful this hotel must serve the worst breakfast ever and the breakfast room is rediculously small. The hot buffet was not by any stretch of the imagination hot but lukwarm at best. It is the first hotel that we have stayed in in a long time where there was a smell of smoke throughout the […] premises. Four star hotel? You must be joking. Good price & location. The room size is acceptable.

Selected hotel bc 12 km to airport for early morning flight. Easy to get to but expensive, non-hotel parking in the area and the neighborhood was VERY seedy. Sex clubs literally lined the streets surrounding the hotel and women were propositioning folks as they walked by. The hotel is close to the train station which is convienent, however there is a lot of drugs and prostitution on the street at night time. Families and single women should stay clear of this area. Other than that, the staff were really nice, and hotel very clean.

This hotel was good value and its proximity to the railway station was a real plus. The surrounding neighbourhood was a real put off though.

I should say first that my stay was just for one night. This hotel is very close to the train station in Frankfurt. The neighbourhood is a bit sleazy but didn't feel dangerous to me. This is a small hotel above a bar entrance and is very , very clean in the rooms with new bathrooms, mine had shower only and I think this is typical. Bed and bed linen to normal (German) high quality clean. It is very local to the Banking section ** It is in the middle of the sleezy part of town - and I mean MIDDLE. But not suitable for children. couples could have a good laugh and there are a few girls on the street trying to get guys into the video (and presumably other shows ++ Breakfast was very good - Hot and cold, certainly well above standard 3 star -- There was a rock concert in the shop front opposite ( Drums guitar etc) facing the road and crowds in the road. Great if you like it but very very very loud and I would guess rooms on the front would be IMPOSSIBLE to sleep in till it finishes.. I was in a back room - no view and tiny window - a little claustrophobic. If you are looking for a hotel that is in the middle of the red light district with no parking (but an attached garage that costs 27 Euros to park at) this place is the best. Otherwise...stay away. There are much nicer places for just a little more money not far away. Just a pretty awful experience. But on the bright side...free internet.

I only needed a room for a one day stop over in Frankfurt. The hotel is a block from the main train station which was extremely convenient. Although located in the red light district, the hotel was clean and safe and not in the midst of the red light action. Breakfast was OK. The multilingual staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The Clarion Collection Frankfurt is amidst the red light district of the city! You don't want to stay here if you will be out after dark or have children. I was groped by prostitutes on two occasions walking back to the hotel! People were shooting up drugs outside. It was loud all night long on the streets and I woke up constantly throughout the night. […] It was too late to cancel the reservation when you got there! I contacted Choice Hotels about this and haven't received a response about it. They misrepresent the hotel saying it is in an area that is good. Stay anywhere, but here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Læs mere

I had the most wonderful stay at the City Plaza, I didnt realise it was in the Red light district and was a bit nervous initially, but it was full of activity, and I enjoyed the sights.... The economy room was small but that was all I needed, the room was clean and tidy, I was surprised how quiet the room was considering I was right on the road, and […] 4 flights up, couldnt even hear the traffic. The barman was very friendly and most helpful, actually all the staff including the manager were fantastic and made me feel very welcomed and safe. The location is 100m from the station, and a twenty minute walk to the centre of town, 5min down the road there is a laundromat, which was also fantastic. The breakfast was great too. Læs mere

Bra hotell lett å finne, men det var i begynnelsen av Frankfurts red light område kort avstand til sentralbane stasjon og enkel tilkomst fra flyplass

Host musí počítat s tím, že se hotel nachází sice blízko centra, blízko nádraží a jeho lokalita je proto nesmírně výhodná. Nicméně v bezprostředním okolí, resp. přímo vedle hotelu je bezpočet sexshopů, bordelů, zkrátka vykříčená čtvrt, jaká se jen tak v Evropě nevidí.

Das Einzelzimmer ist nicht sauber und es riecht sehr seltsam. Das Fenster ist sehr klein und die Deckenhöhe sehr gering (Dachgeschoss). Das Hotel hat 4 Sterne nicht verdient.

I stayed 3nights at the Clarion Collection Hotel and I am very satisfied all service I received during my stay. The enviroment of this area may not be acceptable for families with small children, however as long as you are adult you will be Ok. At the reception, staffs are absolutely customer oriented. When my PC did not work properly, a staff who has […] professional skills helped me immediately. The other day, the staff who phoned the tour agent for me then told me all details which I needed so I enjoyed the tour 100% without worries. 大きなスーツケースを広げるとドアを開ける事ができなくなってしまうほどの小じんまりした部屋でした。 内装・設備はリニューアルされていおり必要な物は揃っていて、特に不満はありませんでした。(上手くまとめたと感心するほどでした。) スーツケースのキャスターが調子悪く、オイルを貸してもらえないかと頼んだ所、地下の機械室まで取りに行ってくれて給油する事ができ、その後の移動で大変助かりました。 この点においては、星5つですね。

the only reason i choose this hotel is that it is very close to Frankfut hbf. with moderate price. it took about 2 minutes for me to the hbf. on foot. my room was very small as the other old hotels in downtown. The room was too cold and i got a cold. i could see some red lights at the window in my room so i don't recommend this hotel to those with kids. also, […] i could hear some large sound from the cars at midnight sometimes. there was a LCD TV with no cable channels. breakfast was moderate. ホテルの部屋はタイプによって違うと思うけど、私が泊まったタイプはとても狭く荷物の整理するにも苦労した。バストイレは風呂なしであまりにも狭く洗面台を使うのが大変だった。 ホテルの周辺は夜は歩けない・・・変なお店がいっぱい。フランクフルト駅周辺は気をつけてホテル選択しないといけないことがわかった。ホテル予約相談の時に安心してくださいと言ってたのに・・・行ったことがないからそんな事がいえるのね・・・今度からは駅から離れた場所か、高級ホテルでとまらないと・・・

We were very surprised when we came to the hotel since it was supposed to be 0.1km away from Frankfurt centrum and the receptionist said it took 5min by taxi... Another even worse surprise was that it was located in the middle of the gambling and red light district, so be aware. It was hard to find it since the name of the hotel was written only on […] a small plate. It was also problematic to find parking when we came there in the evening and had to park about 15min of walking away from the hotel with all the luggage. The staff was both good and bad. Læs mere
