Vi kom i efteråret, hvor der ikke var særlig meget støj fra gaden, men kan godt forestille os, det larmer meget, hvis man ikke kan åbne vinduet om sommeren. Fin service, tjekkisk morgenmad, daglig rengøring. Vi bestilte godt nok 2 enkeltsenge men fik en dobbeltseng, så det kan man ikke regne med. Hotellet ligger midt i det hele, tæt på alting.

Et dejligt sted lige midt i Prags centrum. Man får virkelig den gamle bydel ind under huden. Vi boede på 6. sal og havde derfor også udsigt til nogle af byens skønne tårne. Der kan dog være lidt støj fra gaden, især når der kommer nogle højrystede grupper forbi. Værelserne er hyggelige, rene og har det, man har brug for. Også en rigtig dejlig morge […] nbuffe. Læs mere

Dejligt rummeligt værelse, men der kunne godt være mere rent og bedre faciliteter, såsom badeforhæng og funktionelle gardiner. Hotellet er noget slidt, men har helt fantastiske medarbejdere og ligger helt centralt og perfekt. Morgenmaden ok

Et godt hotel med en virkelig central beliggenhed, hvilket dog selvfølgelig indebærer lidt gadestøj, men det var nu ikke så slemt. Vores 4 personers værelse var stort, pænt indrettet og rent. Morgenmaden er ikke noget særligt, men heller ikke dårlig. Hotellets egen restaurant var vi ikke særlig imponerede over, men der er jo hundrede andre lige i nærheden […] (der ikke spiller panfløjtemusik på repeat!). Et minus var at gratis wifi kun var i reception/restaurant og ikke på værelserne, medmindre man har laptop og kabel med. Læs mere

Fin central beliggnhed, men vanvittigt meget larm fra gaden stort set hele natten. Meget varme værelser. Mangler airconditon. Ingen trådløs internet på værelserne. Ringe morgenmad.

Hotellet ligger lige midt i den gamle bydel bare 250m fra det astronomiske ur. Da det ligger så tæt på det hele, må man forvente noget støj fra gaderne omkring. Ellers er det et ok hotel at bo på med fin morgenbuffet i en lidt slidt restaurant. Men det var ok til den pris vi gav for at bo der. Et minus er dog at der på et 4 stjernet hotel IKKE findes […] WIFI internet. Vi havde egen router med som virker fint. Dog er deres internet hastighed sløv (1,5mbit's) Læs mere

super hotel. ikke ret stort, 2 minutter fra centrum og med nogle super hyggelige og store værelser. Den eneste ulempe jeg kan komme på er at der er noget larm i gaden det meste af døgnet, men ellers vil jeg anbefale det til alle.

Rigtig fin beligenhed med gåafstand til de fleste seværdigheder. Hotellet virker som om at fordums storhed er ved at forfalde.

Pros: great location, friendly staff, very good price, cool building, free breakfast (was at hotel next door since their restaurant was being renovated). Cons: uncomfortable beds, spartan accommodations, internet only in lobby, no amenities.......bottom line, very good hotel for the budget traveler.

The hotel was just completing a major refurb as we arrived in May 2013, so everything was in sparkling condition; all the bedrooms newly painted and with lovely shower rooms. The hotel is in an interesting old building in the heart of Prague (it even has a couple of Medieaval wall paintings) just round the corner from the market square and clock tower […] - so close I cld hear the clock strike from my bedroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and there was a good buffet breakfast in the restaurant next door. I shall certainly stay here again next time I visit Prague. Læs mere

Well this trip didn't start well. Turned up at 10pm, only to discover Check-in closes at 9.45pm. When I say check-in you actually pick up the key from the video shop next door. A fact hidden away in the email from Hotels.com. Had I known at the time of booking I would have looked elsewhere. So this cost me an extra night in a hotel nearby. The hotel […] itself is basically in need of a major refurb, it's a bit dirty, the entrance hall ahs a very strange smell and nothing is anything more than basic. The hotel was in a great location, under 5 minute walk to Old Town Square and Orloje, and a 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The food was okay and you get a 20% discount at the restaurant as a hotel guest. The staff was not as friendly as I would've liked, but they weren't rude either. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

The hotel is a bit odd because you have to walk through a restaurant to get to it, but you can't beat the location. The room was fine (nothing special, but the TV had some interesting channels) and the hotel staff answered any question we had. The only big downside for us was no parking at the hotel. The location cannot be better. 2-3 minutes walk to the Old Town square and 5 min. to Karlov bridge. 10-15 min. to Staromestska metro. And the price is reasonable. The hotel has its own restaurant. The breakfast was included in the price and was just great. You get 20% discount if you have dinner in the restraunt.

Great location in Old Town. The room was more than adequate in size. I would suggest booking a room that does not have windows along the street. Late night revelers passing by can disturb one's slumber. I just visited in November. Earplugs worked for the street noise. All in all a good experience and I would stay in this hotel again. Stayed there for a night with 2 friends and thought it was perfect. The hotel is very centrally located and the room was clean and comfortable. With an inclusive hot and cold buffet breakfast, you really can't go wrong! Would definitely stay there again.

Elevator was not working, the stairs were worn out and some parts were not lit at all, so it was pretty bad to walk down. the hotel was in renovation, full of paint smell.

I loved my stay! the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic and although right in the middle of the main must see sights was a quiet hotel. I would recommend to others.

When we finally found the hotel, we were very pleased with the location (in the middle of the old town) reception was a stand-alone desk at the rear of a restaurant of the same name. Directions provided by the staff to the car park were horrid and misleading. The room was huge. It appears the building is very old, the rooms basically are as is. The […] windows didn't close properly, the furniture looked like it was from an auction house, it did not match the room at all, the safe did not work and the noise filtering up from the street was obtrusive until about 2 am. Each time we walked through the restaurant to get to our room we were accosted in an attempt to have us eat there, to the point we were regularly questioned as to why we were there if we weren't eating a meal. The hotel staff was friendly and we were checked in relatively quickly even though we had eight people across two rooms show up two hours before official check-in time. As you ascend the old wooden stairs, you quickly see that the building is quite unique and every room is a bit different. Our room was a beautifully decorated pair (yes, two!) of 20x20 […] rooms with 12ft ceilings separated by a gigantic set of pocket doors. The main bedroom was extremely spacious even with a couch, love seat, chair, tv, and wood burning stove in the mix. Though the bathroom and its facilities lacked a bit in modernization, the majestic presentation and size of the rooms more than made up for it. One step right out the door and you're right in the mix of things by the Old Town Square. Absolutely everything is within walking distance of this hotel. I would definitely recommend this to others. One unique thing that may throw you off is that you have to enter through the restaurant to get into the hotel. Also, it gets a little rowdy late at night between 1am and 3am out on the street as people venture home after a few pilsners...the windows are pretty good at dampening sound, but you'll hear a few drunken cheers at any hotel around Old Town in the middle of the night. Huge room! TV was terrible, flat screen is a joke. Great location, sparsely furnished. But really, if your spending a bunch of time in your hotel room, your not experiencing the place. The location couldn't be better! You are right near the center of the old town and around the corner of astronomical clock. Completely worth it.

Well we stayed three nights, and on the third morning, the shower was out if water for about ten minutes.... But the place was clean, comfortable, reasonable amenities- the television didn't work, no mini bar, but there is a safe. The wifi only works in reception, and sometimes you have to ask them to turn it on, but we stayed in room 25, which is pretty […] much right above the reception area, and sometimes the wifi would reach. The folks in reception are helpful, breakfast is reasonable considering it's free (the croissants weren't cooked all the way, but there were eggs, bacon, sausage, hard boiled eggs, and other options which were tasty). Overall, the place is good for its price, especially considering it is absolutely in the heart of the shopping district, but I wouldn't recommend the attached restaurant. Læs mere

The location was great, the breakfast decent, but it was extremely hot that weekend. Since a/c is not a standard in Europe, especially that it normally does not get so hot, fans should be provided at the very least. Aside from the heat, there building was undergoing some remodeling. Old towels with holes, no air conditioning or wifi, moldy smelling bathroom, unclean floors. No verification when retreiving room key from reception. Although convenient location streets outside are very loud thoughout the night and early morning.

At first glance, this hotel seems to be in a great location for a decent price. The first night we stayed, our room was comfortable, quiet, and while it was a bit warm, the hotel provided us with a fan so it wasn't unbearably hot. The next night our room was changed, and the experience was miserable. There is no elevator, so we lugged our bags up the […] stairs, only to find a stifling hot room with no fan. We called the front desk to request one, but the staff were entirely unhelpful, and basically told us there was nothing they could do, despite the fact that there were fans in other rooms, and in the lobby. The new room was also toward the front of the hotel, and I can sleep through a lot, but the noise was relentless. Carts kept going across the cobblestone and drunken tourists at surrounding cafes kept us awake all night long. Between the 95 degree heat, lack of air, and the noise, we did not get a wink of sleep, which is not ideal when traveling internationally the next day. Did not sleep for 3 nights. Way too much nosie below the windows, and could not shut the windows due to the heat. Asked if I could move into another room and the front desk told me they would let me know and they never got back to me. Would not use this hotel again, too many other options in Prague.

We were in the summer and there is no air conditioning or fan, and is really hot, we asked for a fan but they didn't have one. Parking is about a mile from the hotel and it cost $34 additional for 24 hours. If you like motel 8 or hostels then you would love this hotel but if you like Marriott you will hate this hotel. Staff is ok, the guy in the day […] time is ok, the one at night was nicer. The location is great because is the center of the old town, Saint Charles bridge is 80 meters away, clock tower like 200 meters away, everything is super close. Breakfast was good, good selection. Location location location! Literally 2 mins from Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square to you and me!) and Pražský hrad (Charles Bridge) so is a perfect base for your stay in Prague. Very ver tny easy to get to as well, take the 119 bus from the airport to Djevica metro station then take the green line (A) 3 stops to Staroměstské and it's a quick 5/10 […] navigation through the streets, The hotel suited me fine, as a single traveller who uses it literally as a base. It was perfectly clean and suitable but it certainly wasn't the most modern or up to date hotel. The hotel uses old school keys rather than keycards and is in quite a busy little corner, with a restaurant outside so coudl be noisy (especially when there is an event on at Old Town Sq) and whilst the staff were helpful, they were a little quiet and brooding! The lift worked fine but looks a frightening prospect for anyone with clostrophobia. My room on the 7th floor was rather lovely, with a nice big low bed and old school wooden furniture and, as said, was a perfect base for a 30 year old who used it for sleeping, showering and being close to the action. However, the safe did not work and the bathroom was coved due to being on the top floor, meaning the shower was not fixed and was a little tricky to use so ask for a lower floor if you're less mobile/flexible as me!
