Fint hotel med ca 10'minutters gang til the Strip. Man kommer lige væk fra det værste tivoli. Hotellet er super godt. Vi boede på 15. Etage med udsigt til halvdelen af the strip og ingen overfor. Super udsigt om aftenen og natten.

Hotellet har en rigtig høj standard, især set på prisen. Hotellet ligger 900 meter fra centrum af the strip og har intet casino. Dvs der er stille på hotellet, men man er ikke længere væk end man kan gå op til de store hoteller og casinoer.

I really liked this hotel. I have stayed at Bellagio and Palazzo before, but this room was great for the price. The room was huge (with a full kitchen, balcony) and I had a laundry inside. My kids enjoyed the open space and gave them the feeling of home.

Nicely situated a 15 minute walk away from the strip. A proper hotel with excellent service. So glad I did not choose one of the themed hotels on the strip

Good non smoking hotel, with good restaurant, beds soft & road noise constant -all day & night ! If you are a light sleeper you will need to ask for a room away from road

The hotel was good value and is about a 10 minute walk to the strip. It is a non gaming non smoking hotel. I was disappointed there was no hairdryer in the bathroom for an otherwise very well appointed hotel and spacious bathrooms. The cold water in the lobby was a nice touch.

Our room was very spacious. The staff was helpful and friendly. We have stayed at the Platinum for 5 years in a row and will be back next year!

This was the first time I stayed at platinum hotel and I absolutely loved it! The staff was more then friendly and helpful. For example I asked the front desk girl if she knew how to get to Fremont street she didn't just tell me but she printed out directions for me! I was pleasantly surprised for that gesture :) I will plan all my future trips here […] ! And I also found out my brother in law is getting married there next year! Thank you for a great stay! A fairly nice hotel except we didn't know it was valet-only parking and although it's supposed to be complementary, I felt obligated to tip them every time we had to leave or return to the hotel; it was a major added expense!

Nice place.not really what we were looking for coming to Vegas tho.its a nice clean hotel but we were looking for more of a service oriented place, they didnt really have alot of services at the hotel. but the room was awesome and couldnt beat it for the price.

We love The Platinum. Service by hotel staff is great and full kitchen, sitting room area and separate bedroom is exactly the type of room we enjoy. Since we drive to Vegas, the location is not an issue for us. The hotel is in need of updating but I understand that renovations are planned.

> rooms are ok, large + kitchen , fridge > restaurant and bar in lobby are ok, but service is slow (especially food) > toilet problem, no flush, but maintenance guy is quick to fix it > main desk ok, friendly and efficient > not noisy, no casino or shopping inside, just plain basic hotel > overall: good, with room for improvement

We loved the hotel. The room was wonderful as was the services. We thought the food for breakfast and lunch was really good. Everyone was so very friendly. We will go there next time we are in Las Vegas. We prefer a non-casino hotel - no smoking and quiet.

We liked the hotel. Location: a little far from the strip, but we knew that when we booked. We liked the kitchenette, rooms were nice, but worn. Our room smelled like fish. Maintenance tried to help with deodorizer, but is still stayed, so we received a $25. food credit, which was nice, but still did not fix the problem. We weren't informed about the […] location of the restaurant or other places to eat close to the hotel, or happy hours, or the pool, or anything when we checked in and we 'overheard' the girl at the desk three days later, telling someone else some of this information as they were checking in. Overall, the price was really high for what we got. The cleaning crew, maintenance were very nice and friendly. And the Valets were awesome. Front desk, mmmm so-so. Læs mere

This time we ventured into the Well Spa and we are hooked! We can't wait to return. The Spa is very reasonably priced and relaxing - I love it! As usual the food was great - room service is fast and the quality good. I really like the Kilowat restaurant (breakfast & lunch only) but it's usually empty and I don't understand why - seriously love it! Oh […] well at least we don't have to wait for a table. I was advised through reviews to not pay for the best room but get an upgrade so unlike the first booking I tried it and when checking in asked if there were any upgraded rooms available...much to my chagrin no upgrades available! This hotel was clean, staff was friendly, helpful, and the hotel location was perfect for a family with small children. Perfect for visiting the strip, but far enough a way to enjoy some quiet times.

We were put in a room where we could hear the cars in the parking garage go over speed bumps. All through the night you just heard thump, thump. Had to have maintenance fix the light switch because the lights would not shut off. Shower would get hot and then cool down on its own.

The Platinum is a walkable 1.5 blocks from the strip and the Bellagio monorail station which means it's possible to ditch your car in the hotel parking lot (which is valet only) during your entire stay and walk to strip or monorail station. Since it's off the strip, it's much more quiet and less chaotic than staying in strip hotel and even better you […] don't have to lug your luggage through any casino chaos to check in. The staff are friendly and helpful. Room service was great, good food, reasonable prices for room service. The room wasn't immaculately spotless but is anything in Vegas? (some hair/dirt on the bathroom floor when arrived, and I strongly recommend to wash any dishes before you use them but that's applicable to all hotels). Overall, I'd stay here again. Læs mere

It's at the end of the Vegas strip and I think hotels in Vegas, overall, just take a bit of a beating due to the sheer number and type of guests they receive. Plus it was New Years so that probably increased the volume of "party patrons" which would have increased the workload of the cleaning staff but we saw food spilled in the halls and dirty dishes […] waiting to be picked up for an entire day. Upon arrival, the valets seemed a bit disorganized and the room was clean but I's score the cleanliness at maybe a 7/10. We chose it because they're pet friendly. The non-refundable pet fee is $75, which for a 5 days stay is not that bad but if it were just one night would seem steep. Overall, they were fairly accommodating to our pet needs but I'd say they're more pet-tolerant than actually pet-friendly (going out of their way to make your pet's stay enjoyable. Granted, I'm sure not as many people take their pets to Vegas than they would some other destinations. Læs mere

I always stay at his resort hotel when in La Vegas. Apartments are spacious and have everything you might need. Non-smoking and no casinos. Enjoy Vegas without the crowds and noise when you return to your room...

The hotel was just right for us. We loved the princess suite. The staff was very accommodating...making a room change, bringing us a DVD player and assorted kitchen items as needed and helping me when I was locked out. What a great experience! The Platinum was incredible. Great location. We had a 16 year old and an 11 year old. It was great to have the extra space and kitchen. The view was even better than being on the strip. The only complaint if any was the pool could have used a little cleaning. Everything else was perfect. Staff was great! A beautiful suite hotel two blocks off the strip in Las Vegas. Our one bedroom suite was huge with an in-room jacuzzui and a full kitchen with full size appliances. The hotel is completely non-smoking and, for the most part, the staff was very warm and helpful. A great place for families, there is an indoor pool (rare in Las Vegas) and a restaurant […] with good food and reasonable prices. With no casino, the crowd is much calmer than most in Las Vegas. We come to vegas often but this was our first visit to the Platinum. We found the staff to be very friendly, room was large, and quiet. We were in a Princess Solitaire suite. We stayed another two nights at Mandalay Bay so we really appreciated the sound proofing at Platinum. At Mandalay we could hear the family next room talking. However, there were […] a few negatives at Platinum. First, the pool is small, and there were not enough towels for the few guests that wanted to use the pool in December. You will have to show up early to make sure to get the towels you need. Second, we found the location at Koval and Flamingo to be a problem. When exiting the hotel, you can only make right on Flamingo, away from the strip. There is only one way in and out of the hotel. We are seasoned visitors to Vegas and know how to get out and about without getting on the Strip. So, we really didn't like the Platinum location. It's not quite close enough to walk to the strip and getting in/out of the hotel is not easy. Læs mere

Hotel is in a great spot if you want to be away from the casinos, yet, in the center of Las Vegas. In our 8 day stay we were a bit underwhelmed by the cleaning and house-keeping staff. Relatively unresponsive (needed to call 3 times to get the room cleaned) and they repeatedly "forgot" to put dirty dishes into dishwasher. When we tried to move one of […] the beds to the wall to avoid kid falling out the carpet wasn't vacuumed for more than a year and again had to call multiple times to get it cleaned. Also, they don't remember your customs -- we had to call for more fresh towels every day. That said, we had great experience with Angela: kids got very sick and Angela sent us chicken soup to the room without us asking for it and the item not being on the menu. That offset a lot for us. We had a pleasant stay in this hotel. Our princess suite with a view was nice, quiet and big.The front desk and valet parking staff were friendly and efficient so with the housekeeping. The only problem was the refrigerator water dispenser was leaking but that didn't dampen our stay.

We always stay here when in Las Vegas. A quick trip to the local store for groceries and coffee and we spend most mornings eating our breakfast and having a GOOD cup of coffee in our room. I really enjoyed my time at The Platinum. Once I figured out the best way to get in to the entrance without flipping a Uturn I loved it! Valet Parking is very nice feature especially as I was a woman traveling alone. We've stayed at the Platinum before and came back because we liked it so much. The suites are huge, lots of living, sleeping and bathroom space plus washer/dryer in unit and complete full sized kitchen. I almost hate to recommend it because I don't want it all booked up next time we go.

This was our second stay at the Platinum, we were there 4-5 years ago. This is the perfect hotel for an extended stay in Vegas if you are more interested in the outdoors than the casinos and the strip. The hotel provides very quiet, comfortable, roomy accomodation, fully equiped kitchen, in suite laundry facilities etc. The only disapointment this time […] was the inconsistant housekeeping service We stayed for 10 days and only had 2 days of good housekeeping. We often came back to our room around 17:00 hrs and the housekeeping was still not done. The housekeeper never seemed to do a thorough job. Sometimes the dishes were not done, the coffee maker was left uncleaned, we were left without the daily supplies (coffee, toilet paper, towells etc.) Not a big deal because we are not fussy but still this lack of attention to details could translate into loosing customers. We really enjoyed our stay in the Platinum....amenities are great...loved the pool..not too busy. Suite was wonderful...liked the convenience of a full kitchen and laundry facilities. Would go back again.
