Hotellet ligger i et dejligt stille område og dog rimelig tæt på Rialto-broen og Markuspladsen. God service og selvom værelset var lille, så var der, hvad der skulle være. Aircondition kunne først startes 1. maj (gælder hele Venedig), så vinduet måtte stå åbent, da etagen på hotellet var ret varm. Hyggeligt lille hotel som anbefales.

Et rigtig godt ophold eneste minus - sengen var alt for hård, det var som at ligge på gulvet .......... dejligt lille hotel, med kanon god beliggenhde og en fin lille tagterasse. Morgenmaden lidt simpel men ok.

"Pay attention to details"
First things first: The apartment that we ended up getting was very nice in a private complex in Canareggio. It was modern and had a nice roof deck that we used quite a bit for breakfast. There were only two of us, and we used the kitchen quite a bit while we were there. It seemed that this sort of arrangement would be perfect for a traveling family. […] The area was extremely quiet in the evenings. The downside was the fact that we were in the dark about where we would be staying up until a few days before. I was well aware of this prior to leaving for Italy; however, when you are a first-time visitor to Venice, as we were, it made it very difficult to coordinate the key pick-up when we arrived. Fortunately, our hostess was extremely nice and waited for us while we figured how to get around. We were harassed by the apartment service about going to the location to meet-up with the hostess. I wouldn't blame them totally, since we were figuring things out, but they could be a bit more accommodating to foreigners who probably aren't as familiar with the place as they are. In this case, information is essential and that is why I would recommend they give the location sooner OR I suggest that anybody using this service call them long in advance to coordinate the key-pickup. The only other issue is that we didn't get the location that we booked. While booking, I paid a little more to ensure that we would be located in San Marco [it is a bit cheaper to select the 'variable location' option], but when we arrived we ended up in Canareggio. Honestly, this was a blessing in disguise because we ended up loving the location since it was off the beaten track of tourists. There were mostly locals in our area and the markets and bars were mostly filled with residents of the area. This made it a more enjoyable experience for us, but that isn't the point. "A very satisfactory experience"
We had a very satisfactory experience. The staff of the rental company were both friendly and professional. The hostess that met us to guide us to the apartment was also friendly. There were a couple of documents to sign which one would avoid if one book a hotel. But overall the apartment and the location was really good.
