Good rate - in April lots of hotels around with good prices. Location a plus.

Hotel is in a great location and is nice and quite. Room was satisfactory but the carpets and linens were discustingly dirty and we were unable to obtain any new clean ones as the front desk stated the hotel was full!

Very good location. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, and pastry shops. Easy acess to Edgar Quinet and Vavin metro stations, it is easy to reach Versalles-rive gauche by Edgar Quinet metro station to champ de mars RER (line C). With the Vavin metro station, you can visit Tour Eiffel, Louve, Notre Dame, Champs Elysees etc. very easily. Front desk […] people are very friendly and helpful for directions. Great location a few minutes from Metro, set back from street and very quiet. Good restaurants close by. Air conditioning struggling but overall would go back again. We had a triple room - actually a double room with a bunk bed separated by a sliding door from the main bedroom. Not a lot of space but perfectly adequate and well priced.

The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station in a lively area of Paris. It has both a courtyard and a rear garden which are pleasant for relaxing on a summer's evening. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are away from the road and some overlook a pleasing internal courtyard. The rooms are very nice and of moderate size; bed with blankets instead of stifling duvet! The reception was not particularly friendly and the baggage area, although locked, was not supervised. The standard of the breakfast was disappointing. There were not enough staff and the price of the breakfast was excessive for the quality. Location perfect very close to many restaurants & Metro bakery,grocery store , wine store.Saturday morning market at far end of street. Room OK ( in need of update) but price was right. Looks like renos in progress.

Very convenient. Good hotel. See it in the google maps before you go, so it will be easy to find. as the building is kind of hidden behind a very old look entrance. Some of the staff is very good. Area looks like very famous for dining. So restaurants around are full and very costly.

I saw the 4 and 4 and a half star reviews and by no measure, not even Parisian hotel ones, is this a 4 star hotel. . Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad place to stay but but not a 4 star. Great location and friendly staff.

For the price we did not expect a 5 star hotel. Our expectations were therefore all met. The staff was very friendly, helping whenever we had any questions. The surroundings were nice and quiet.

We arrived in Paris on a Thursday and were taking the train out of town at 9AM the next morning. Our decision to stay at the hotel was influenced by it's convenient proximity to the Gare Montparnasse train station. It is very modern with a beautiful courtyard at the entrance. Villa Modigliani was better than I'd expected, given it's relative inexpensiveness compared to other hotels in Paris. The setting was perfect, in a nice neighborhood close to restaurants, metro stops, and not far from the center of Paris. The hotel itself is within a quiet courtyard and our room was free from traffic noise, even when the windows were […] open. The set up of the room was nice for a family room, there was a bunkbed separated from the queen bed by a small door which allowed a little more privacy than other family rooms we'd stayed in. My concerns were with the unpleasant smell that occurred when we'd return to the room after a day out, particularly if we'd left the bathroom door open. And the last night of our stay we had a leak from the ceiling that continued through the night. I'm hoping it was due to the high humidity of the air and the air conditioning, rather than the source of the unpleasant smell....... We left very early the next morning for the airport so didn't have the opportunity to see how the hotel would deal with the problem. We liked this hotel a lot due to the configuration of the family room with a closeable door in between the sleeping areas. Also, the location was convenient to the Metro, marche and brasseries, and walkable to Luxumbourg Gardens and the main parts of the city. We were glad to have the air conditioning option, too. This hotel has a nice courtyard and rooms are away from the road so its very quiet. Had a triple room which was meant for 4 so it was spacious. Bathroom and wc were separate rooms which is convenient. Three of us stayed here in April and had a perfect room with a bed + 2 bunk beds. The room was clean and comfortable and as we faced an inner courtyard, it was also quiet! The toilet room was separate from the shower room which was convenient for 3 people. It is a 3 star hotel in France so I knew not to expect a lot of amenities/toilletries and that […] was fine. We loved the location, being in the Montparnesse and enjoying the outdoor cafes. The metro stop is very close and we had no problems finding the hotel or finding our way around Paris. The overall value for the money for the hotel is quite low. The only hotel i have seen in years that still uses woollen blankets whch are quite uncomfortable. Except for the excellent location I dont have much to suggest for the hotel.

This hotel is in such a great location, minutes from Notre Dame and right next door to 2 metro stations which take u directly to loads of sights. The neigbouring streets are great with lots of great cafes for breakfasts and a street full of places with amazing crepes. The staff were so friendly and helpful at check-in too. The room itself was nice and […] clean. The only downside was that we booked a triple room and it was tiny. The third bed was squashed in at the bottom of the other two beds and there was no room at all to move . I think this hotel would be perfect for a couple to be honest. The Villa Modigliani is just round the corner from Vavin metro stop. It is really very well situated. The hotel surrounds a courtyard and is very quiet. It is so quiet that I could sleep with the windows wide open - just as well, as for some reason the air conditioning didn't operate, however the bed did have blankets rather than the hateful duvets […] used in many other hotels. I had a buffet dinner, this was pleasant and very convenient, as I didn't have much time. The food is good, but not special. This was an oasis in the middle of the city. The entrance is tucked away in off the rue Delambre with a small fountain in the middle. The room was very spacious for Paris (we had the triple room), clean and well equiped and tranquil. The complimentary WiFi was a bonus for my husband to check the football scores. All of the important sights and places […] in Paris are within easy reach, Metro Vavin is within 5 minutes walk, cafes and well known restaurants just around the corner . This hotel was well located to Montparnasse Train station and Airport Bus. Good food shopping close by. Markets and restaurants and good access to subway transport around the city

We were very pleased with Villa Modigliani. The room was quite comfortable (although we were a bit disappointed in the strength of the air conditioning in our room) and large enough for the three of us. The complimentary WiFi in the room worked well, so we could use Google maps to search for restaurants, etc.. The staff were all pleasant and helpful […] and most were fluent in English (and graciously tolerant of my stumbling attempts to speak in French). The location proved quite convenient for us. It is a short walk to either of two nearby Metro stops. Within a block or two were two bakeries, a grocery store, an ATM, a produce market, and a laundromat, and there were plenty of nearby restaurants. We greatly appreciated the hotel's courtyard and garden patio areas as peaceful places to enjoy breakfast or a snack or just to sit and plan our next adventure. We would stay at this hotel again in the future and would recommend it to friends. Læs mere

This was a a very nice hotel. Helpful staff, two blocks from a Metro, grocery store several stores away from hotel. The only negative comment was that the air conditioning was not working.

O hotel é muito bem localizado, perto de duas linhas de metrô e a região possui diversos bares, cafés e restaurantes. Limpo e confortável. Apenas tenho uma reclamação a fazer sobre a recepcionista do hotel. Muito mal educada e de mau humor constante. Não tinha paciência para explicar nada que perguntávamos.

Très bon hôtel. Pour mes voyages professionnels, j’utilisai exclusivement les Novotels . Si le lit est changé ( parce que vraiment inconfortable), ça sera mon hôtel pour mes futurs séjours affaire à Paris. Autre point, je viens en famille avec ma femme et 2 enfants, je voulais visiter et rencontrer un commercial, il n’y a pas eu de réactivité.
