Vi var meget glade for den centrale beliggenhed. Hyggeligt hotel men morgenmaden kunne have vœret bedre.

The only thing was that there was no hot water in the shower. There was hot water in the sink and in the bath tub, bot not in the shower. We mentioned this to the hotel at day 1, but they did not manage to fix it before we left. (3 days stay). We had a lovely vacation anyway and the hotel and suroundings are perfect. Convenient location in the heart of Amalfi. Breakfast was very nice. Room was a little small and the bed was very hard.

The hotel is well located in central Amalfi, close to several restaurants. The room was a good size. There was a good selection for the continental breakfast, which was taken on the roof terrace, weather permitting.

Amalfi is AMAZING!!! This hotel is a very nice place and is very convenient to anything you want to do while staying in Amalfi. The hotel caters to families by offering various room configurations. We did not use the restaurant at the hotel because we wanted to try local places. Parking is extremely limited, and can be expensive. Be sure to check out […] Ravello and Capri while visiting Amalfi, neither of those towns will disappoint you! The drive up to Ravello is "interesting" as any drive along the Amalfi Coast is! Location is good and garage was particularly useful since we were traveling by car. Room was clean and quite with typical Italian hill town vista. The breakfast terrrass was jut very pleasant with view to church dome. There is much that is good about Amalfi but arriving in the heat of the day with too many tourist obscured its beauty.

Room was quite small, the door of our room pretty much touched our bed upon opening. Good Location, shower was really good. Small rooms. We had two rooms booked right next to each other, however the free wi-fi picked up full strength in one room and absolutely nothing in the next. For one night only it was an ok hotel, difficult to find.

The room was small and gloomy although always kept clean. The bathroom was old and the bath so small I had difficulty standing up in it to take a shower. Breakfast was uninspiring - by day 8 I could hardly face it. Car parking was expensive. The hotel scratched my car but would not own up to it or make a contribution to repair costs.

The hotel needs major upgrades and refurnishing. Not worth the price we paid, particularly as we have stayed in another Amalfi hotel recently (a much nicer one) for less. Way overpriced for small and tired rooms. Worst of all was the staff. Extremely rude and unhelpful, especially if you weren't Italian. the shower was awful.. the bed very uncomfortable and a terrible pillow. They do have a lift which I had specified as my husband cannot walk many steps but we were not told of the long flight of steps going up to get to the hotel. Also has no view. Would not recommend.. there are many hotels in Amalfi.. surely you can find one better

Fairly large hotel, just off main street. We had a room in the garden, which was quiet and had a terrace. The lift was small and busy. Breakfast buffet had a good choice and could be taken inside or on the roof terrace. Staff were English-speaking and very helpful, arranging for us to join a free walking tour of Ravello.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the main Amafi square. There are a few steps you have to take to get there so if you're old or have difficulty carrying luggage, things can be tough. Also the hotel itself has no porters or any concierge desk, so it's carry your own luggage all the way to your room. Fortunately there is an elevator to take […] you there from the reception. Although the hotel promises a great view of the Medditerranian sea, please do take it with a pinch of salt, the view is only from the roof and frankly not much of it. Breakfast is typical European i.e. not too much food. If you're happy with oatmeal, some sweet breads and cake, you'll be fine. Coffee and tea is good. Internet access is reasonably fast but they give just one WiFi password per room. If you have multiple devices, then this can be irritating. Also remember to log off from the Internet when done, else your time keeps running out. The family running the hotel is warm and helpful. Overall a good experience. Læs mere

Good basic hotel in centre of Amalfi. Convenient for shopping, restaurants, bus station and ferries. Breakfast basic. Very clean. Quiet garden in centre of hotel, orange & lemon trees. Garden rooms probably best choice, if you can get them 315, 316. Adjacent appartments can be noisy, especially one with yapping dog!

The staff speak excellent English and go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. When we accidentally broke a bottle of wine they brought us up 2 glasses of an excellent substitute and when we asked for a kettle because we needed to access boiling water for a medical treatment they just went out to buy one for us! The hotel is fabulously situated […] in the heart of Amalfi, yet out of the way enough to be quiet and with beautiful gardens of lemon and orange trees! The staff organise many excellent activities, such as tours or walks free of charge. Other trips and tours are very good value for money, with superb, professional guides. We had a memorable trip to Pompei and Mount Vesuvius. We are looking forward to going back next year and would not consider any other place!We found Amalfi to be the most exciting town on the coast, despite the tourism, which is of course everywhere. The hotel definitely deserves 3***. It seems it has been renovated not too long time ago. Although directly situated in the old town centre, our hotel room was very calm. Restaurants and shops may be found all around the hotel. The room had a climatisation, a bath with shower, toilet and bidet. The room was not very large, but adequate, clean and […] in very good shape. Room service and breakfast service personnel was friendly. The choice at the breakfast buffet could have been a bit more comprehensive, but quantity was fine. The town and coast of Amalfi is definitely worth a visit. It is a splendid jewel at the meditarenian coast. For beach tourists, however, it should be indicated the beach is made up of darker sand, which is hot to walk onto and when walking into the sea, it becomes a little stony. So better wear waterproof shoes... The beach is not too big either, thus Amalfi is not an ideal target for a pure beach holiday, but definitely for a beach holiday combined with culture and italian flair! Læs mere

i don't want to sound harsh as i think the hotel amalfi is probably similar to many other small hotels in the area. however, i do feel in 2010 they could make a little more effort to make a stay there more comfortable. the room (a triple was cramped even with 2 adults and 1 child), and basic. the air con was a benefit and worked efficiently, but we […] could have done with a fridge. not a big ask in a climate so hot. the room and bathroom were cleaned thoroughly each day and towels changed but although the shower was super powerful with plenty of hot water, it had to be held up by hand as it was not wall mounted. breakfast was adequate with fresh pastries, rolls, cereal, fruit and proper coffee. the location is perfect. plenty of steps to negotiate and be prepared to be woken up by the dawn chorus of church bells most mornings.would i return? i am not sure. i will probably search out one of the other small hotels in the area and give them a try. hotel amalfi features in uk brochures but could do better in 2010. If you are looking for something in the heart of Amalfi then this is it.... unless you have issues with stairs. The breakfasts were yummy with fresh croissants and cappuchinos and everyone was friendly. We stayed here for almost a week, using it as home base to explore. We we incredibly impressed with the cleaning staff. You could have eaten off of […] any surface in this place. As far as we could tell they cleaned from sun up til sundown and everything was scrubbed and polished. Disappointed that they did not have a computer we could use, not even for rent. We did not experience this anywhere else and since we were not able to pack a computer we had to use the pricey little internet cafe which was conveniently located. Front desk staff not knowledgable about ferry schedules etc. We learned the hard way! Also they block international phone cards from your room phone and just tell you to go use a payphone. We never were able to get our phone card to work either. In the morning the church bells start to ring (in your ear) at 7 am. Since you are next to the church it's impossible to sleep through that. The first day we arrived at the evening so they took our car to the parking but after that we had to walk a long way twice a day to pic the car. The rooms above the restaurant and the stairs are very noisy. Breakfast is very basic.

Hoteliesittelyssä mainittiin, että auton vuokraus onnistuu hotellissa. Se ei pitänyt paikkaansa. Vuokraus onnistui vastapäätä olevasta nettipisteestä, mutta aiheutti lisävaivaa, olisi kannattanut tehdä jo etukäteen kotimaassa. Lisäksi kaikki vuokraamot olivat Salernossa, josta piti/kannatti noutaa itse auto lauttayhteyttä käyttäen tai junalla tullessa […] ottaa auto heti asema-aukiolla olleista vuokraamoista. Hotellin omat kuljetuspalvelut mm. Ravelloon konserttiin ja pöytävaraukset Ravellosta hoidettiin tyylikkäästi. Hotelli sijaitsi n. 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä lauttasatamasta, josta pääsi vaivattomasti, Caprille, Positanoon, Salernoon. Kookonaisuutena ylitti odotukseni, vaikka olimme vierailleet jo aikaisemmi alueella: Positano, Praiano. Hotellin sijainti historiallisessa keskuksessa avarsi täl-laisen vanhan kaupunkirakantamisen hienoudet, jotka ovat "piilossa". Læs mere

Mitte im Altstadt, dennoch nicht laut weil es in der "zweite Reihe" ist. Kein Schnickschnack aber alles in bester Ordnung. Parkgarage ist witzig.... viele Auto´s hinter einander....kein spontan "mal fahren", voranmeldung notwendig und ....leider Euro 20,00 am Tag. Jedoch im Altstadt parken ist Euro 5,00/Stunde

Avevamo una bellissima camera con balcone, e vista sul campanile del Duomo. Bella la decorazione delle ceramiche della camera e del bagno. E' praticamente nel centro.

salve, in fase di prenotazione telefonica, ho sottoposto il mio problema, sono un portatore di handicap e ho difficoltà a fare le scale; mi è stato detto che l'albergo ha l'ascensore ma non mi è stato riferito che, per recarmi presso lo stesso, avrei dovuto farmi una trentina di gradini che vanno dalla strada fino all'albergo. sono un pò deluso del […] vostro servizio. Nao existe muitas opcoes de hotel em Amalfi, eh 8 ou 800. Nao recomendo pernoite em Amalfi, o melhor e fixar base em Sorrento e visitar: Amalfi, Capri, Positano e Praiano via transporte de barco

Accesso non facile perchè in pieno centro di Amalfi, tuttavia è sufficiente fare una rampa di scale del posto. Accoglienza cordiale e gestori attenti e con iniziativa per rendere piacevole il soggiorno (organizzazione escursioni etc.). Ottima pulizia. Stanze piccole ma molto ben attrezzate, così come il bagno; discreta rumorosità diurna in stanza condizionata […] dall' affaccio sulle viuzze circostanti. Hotel avec des accès justes pour les chambres, ais c'est la configuration du quartier historique qui veut ça. En face de la cathédrale et de la place du duomo. La plage est à 5 min à pied. Chambre très propres. Petit dejeuner copieux. Personnel agréable. Salle de bain spacieuse dans les chambres trio.

Avons séjourné 4 nuits dans ce charmant hotel idéalement situé au coeur du centre historique. Hotel familial très bien tenu avec un acceuil irréprochable. Propreté impéccable, chambres spatieuses, seul le jus d'orange du petit déjeuner n'était pas à la hauteur de nos attentes pour un produit local.

Lo staff è molto disponibile, abbiamo prenotato una superior ma non si può esattamente definire tale, la prima camera che ci hanno dato non era il massimo della bellezza e dopo aver chiesto se quella fosse una superior ci hanno dato le chiavi delle altre disponibili e ci hanno fatto scegliere. Ho pernottato solo una notte e tutto è stato perfetto. L'hotel è situato proprio nel centro storico di Amalfi. Perfetto. Peccato il costo del parcheggio, veramente alto.

ottimo hotel, pulitissimo, colazione molto varia, proprietari gentilissimi, posizione centrale sia per passeggiare ad amalfi che visitare gli altri paesi piu' belli della costa. parcheggio a pagamento pero' molto comodo perche ci pensano i gestori dell'hotel. complimenti a tutto.
