"Maintence"
I would recommend draining the sinks because the sinks got clogged up every now and then... Also, the refrigerator in our room had poor temperture control.
"Another good Marriott"
My husband and I stayed here on our long drive back home. We were tired and really wanted to relax in a nice hotel and have a good breakfast in the morning to get back on the road quickly. We checked in late at night and had no problems. Beds were comfy and shower had good water pressure. I'm not a fan of hotel shampoo and conditioner, but they actually […] had a good brand of it! Our only issues were a drawer in the dresser kept sliding open. We could see where the staff kept shimming up the corners of the dresser to angle it to where the drawer wouldn't open...didn't work. The other thing, which was the most annoying, was our room was across from the elevator and the "ding" when the doors opened was amazingly loud! We could hear it in our room with the TV on. We had breakfast at the hotel in the morning. A good variety of fruit, pastries, and cereal. They also had bagels with a toaster and a make your own waffle station. The lady tending the food was very nice and attentive, better than most waitresses I've encountered. Læs mere

The lobby of the hotel was so warm and inviting after a long drive on a holiday afternoon with bumper to bumper traffic in heavy rain. We had hoped to get further on our trip but thankful we had the experience at this hotel. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Birmingham area. Thank you to the staff for making it a wonderful experience.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, affordable, and the breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends.
"Fairfield Inn at Fultondale"
The wireless internet did not work, but the staff helped me to a computer area equipped with a printer. The pool and hot-tub were clean and well maintained, and the work out room, while small, was well equipped. Overall, a nice stay but a little pricey.
"great stay, overall"
We checked in late and the night staff was AMAZING. they help us carry our items to our room, played with my infant son while I unloaded stuff, and even offered us drniks and snacks. The only smear was that hotels.com had listed a jetted bathtub for our standard room, but their website didnt list that and there wasnt a jetted tub in our room (i didnt […] expect one since their site didnt list it.) The only real issue was that the sofa bed was broken when we arrived. The night staff was AMAZING--even offering to swap sofas (we had already unpacked) to keep our inconvenience to a minimum. In the end we ended upasking them to just get us a roll away since we only needed a spot for 1 person to sleep. That worked out best for all. Læs mere

Great hotel. Good sized rooms. Clean and tidy. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was good. You really need a vehicle to get around as no public transport. There is a shopping center within walking distance and good eating places. There are no sidewalks other than in the shopping center. To sum up great southern hospitality and we just love the accent.
"VERY HELPFUL STAFF"
The hotel was overbooked due to current problems the staff went out of their way to correct an overbooking problem. I would like to thank the person working at the counter about 9:30 pm on the 13th of may; she should be given a raise for her outstanding customer service!

"Family Friendly Hotel"
Everything went very well. Check-in was fast and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downer for the night was the indoor pool was a bit chilly and the hot tub wasn't hot and the jets didn't work in the hot tub. Loved the smoke-free facility and the free breakfast was great. The only problem I had was BIG while I and my daughter were sleeping we were woken up by the room next to mine, the hotel lady that work's the front desk had to kick the people out because they were so out of control, and the same thing happend with another room close to mine. My only compliant is that it took roughly 10-15mins before the front desk clerk provided service to me. I was the only person at the front desk at the moment, and no clerk one was present for check-in. Other than that, the stay was great and location convenant.

The Hotel has limited parking available. It is in an excellent location and soon will have an Applebees diectly in front of it for walking distance. It is located close to shopping as well as other execellent restuarants.The room was very nice. "Convenient location just off I-65"
Easy access from interstate. Staff friendly and accomodating to my needs. Hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs and sausage and all the other "continental breakfast" items. I needed a handicapped room that was in a quiet area--no problem. I do have a couple suggestions on the handicapped aspect. There should be […] a grab bar on the left side of the commode. There was one on the right. The sink should be a bit lower to accomodate a wheelchair. With the suggestions aside I would NOT hesitate to recommend this hotel. The hotel was very nice. My only complaint would be that there was a strong perfume smell in the room and halls. I think it something they spray to try to make it smell good. We were fine, but if you have sensitive allergies: don't bother! Also, there were no movie theaters any where near the hotel, but great resturants!
""Great room for the money""
After a full day visiting in a local hospital this motel was most inviting, was quiet and easy to find and also convenient for shopping for some much needed items. Restaurants were plentiful in the area also. My son and I had a nice stay and would come again to this motel and recommend it to others.

The desk clerk was pleasant and gave good restaurant recommendations. When i opened the door of the room the first thing I saw and heard was an ionizer sitting in the middle of the floor. The clerk removed uit promptly and the room smelled alright, but I suspect some had smoked in the non-smoking room. This should have been cleared away before checking […] in a new guest. Late that evening, when I went to take a shower, I found no bath mat. There were however plenty of towels, so I improvised and the next day a bath mat appeared, so they have them. The worst problem was the incredible number of people upstairs doing gymnastics or tumbling until 11PM both nights. There was no sound from the rooms on either side. We appreciate the great price this hotel offered with free HOT breakfast. Hands down, their breakfast is the best I've had with all the other properties that offer free breakfast.
