Rart hotel, god service. Nemt at komme til Amsterdam med bus, men prøv også at leje cykler på hotellet. Det er en fin tur ind til byen langs kanalerne. Poolen er lidt lille og det koster ekstra at bruge de øvrige faciliteter.

Søde mennesker, fint hotel til prisen, hurtigt og ukompliceret. Nemt at køre ind til Amsterdam, fuldkommen ro om natten - vi fik det vi ønskede af dette hotel. Vores altan vendte ud mod p-pladsen (ikke så inspirerende) men vi måtte ryge dér, lige som vi var blevet lovet.

Selv om hotellet ligger 16 km udenfor Amsterdam ligger det fantastisk. Lej en cykel og se Holland og ikke kun Amsterdam. FANTASTISK cykeltur ind til Amsterdam. SMUK tur ind til Volendam. Man ser SÅ meget mere end man ellers ville få med. Der er stort supermarked i Volendam og Monnikendam er også et besøg værd. Naturskønt område og meget nemt at komme […] ind til selve Amsterdam. Kan klart anbefales vi er SÅ tilfreds. Rene håndklæder hænges udenpå din dør, hvis "do not disturb" skiltet er ude - det er da helt fantastisk service :-) Meget hjælpsomt personale og alle snakker engelsk. Prøv den store søndagsbrunch i restauranten - vi har aldrig set et dessertbord magen til :-) Læs mere

Vi har nogle negative oplevelser med receptionen, hvor man ikke altid var hjælpsomme, når man stillede spørgsmål, f.eks når internet PC'en ikke var aktiv, gad man ikke gå hen og aktivrere de.

We liked being away from Amsterdam, a great place to visit but I would not want to live there. The park and ride would cost 8 Euro per car and give two people all day passes on the transit system or buying a ticket on the bus will cost 10 Euro per person for the same. We chose the bus for our trip into Amsterdam and it was too easy. The bus comes every […] 15 minutes on the road next to the hotel (100 meters from the hotel) and drops you off at Central Station. We only waited two minutes since there are 4 different bus lines that pass and go the Central Station. Then when you are done with the craziness you can come back to your room next to a field full of sheep outside the quaint town of Volendam which is also worth a visit. The hotel was clean and comfortable with a nice shower (good pressure and hot water). Rooms were quiet but the beds were softer than we like (we like the Euro-hard beds). Breakfast was good with fresh-squeezed orange juice and good espresso and cappuccinos. Breads and rolls were fresh and varied. There were pre-cooked scrambled eggs with either ham, spinach (I think) or plain. The soft boiled eggs were closer to hard boiled eggs and the sunny side up eggs were also cooked a little too long. I would have liked eggs to orders but I like that when I am on holiday. They had bacon, sausage and some meats and cheeses as well. Wi-Fi was fast enough to stream a movie at the end of the day (a wired connection cost extra). We would stay here again. Læs mere

We booked this hotel after a hostel in central Amsterdam had messed up our booking. It was an amazing hotel, brilliantly comfy rooms, swimming pool etcs. A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Although probably wouldn't stay here again if visiting Amsterdam because of its distance fm the centre & Volendam town. So more suited to the business traveller with a car although there are good connections to Amsterdam but 1 price for Adults & children alike. The Spa well appointed but if you get 2 families […] in the pool it can feel crouded. Plus the locals using the pool as members of the leisure centre make you feel unwelcome. Booked hotel knowing it was out of town (Amstersdam) but read it was easy to get to by bus, which turned out to be very true (although journey time was more near 20 minutes, than 10 minutes). Bus leaves central station which is at the rear of the station, which looks over the harbour, so easy connection between train and hotel. The highlight was the delicious food, although the service was a bit slow. Menu had nice choices, espeically fish dishes. Good drinks on offer, but my wife particularly enjoyed the fresh orange juice. As for breakfast, I was not sure about ordering breakfast after reading previous reviews, but I have to say what was on offer was great with egg, sausage and very nice smoky bacon, as well as selection of cold meats, salmon and cheese, plus pastries and drinks on 'tap'. photos of hotel rooms had kettle, teac etc, but not provided. TV/computer in room but had to pay. Air conditioning just adequate - we came in a warm spell! I imagine there are more luxurious rooms available, but this was adequate for our needs.

All in all an excellent hotel with easy access to Amsterdam. It was just a few minor things that took the gloss off the stay, otherwise it would have been perfect.

Very impressed, ample space, very cleaned, reasonable breakfast price with great choices. Didnt try the Rest. Bus stop to Amsterdam close by but expensive about 10 E per person is better to use the park and ride station is only 8 dollars regardless of total people. Voledam villages is only 3 Km away next to a cheese and shoes factory.

Loved this hotel. Made our weekend even more wonderful. We went to Holland for the weekend to see the tulips and some other sites. Hotel was reasonably close to Keukenhof if you had a car, which we did. We were also able to explore two different beaches on the North Sea, go into Amsterdam, walk along the harbor near the hotel and see the windmills. […] Breakfast was great-scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fried eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice and an assortment of pastries. The hotel is 15 minutes drive north-west of the amsterdam ring road, so very convenient for the city. The park and ride is excellent. The hotel's position offers the best of both worlds - access to the city but in countryside very close to the beautiful little towns of Volendam and Edam. The hotel room we had was a good size with a fantastic bathroom - it was billed as a luxury triple. I am not sure I would call it luxury (no bathrobes etc) but it was of a good standard as expected from a four star hotel. The breakfast was very good (11 euro) and we ate from the restaurant menu in the bar - fantastic food at very resonable prices for a hotel. The bar was lovely area with table service. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The room was spacious and the bathroom floor was heated. It is about 25 minutes from the city by bus and this might be of concern to those intending to spend late nights partying in the city centre, but fine if you're more interested in sightseeing during the day and resting at night. The hotel was great! Not that far from the city centre, and the several buses that goes there takes about 20 minutes. The hotel was very cheap, but very worth it! Staff was friendly, but the hotel barkeep didn't know how to mix any drinks at all. (haha) I had some allegies in my room wich I believe came from a dusty carpet. There was no visible dirt […] though. Daily cleaning and a very fresh and BIG bathroom + comftirble beds. I was a little worried when I booked that the hotel was outside Amsterdam. Needlessly, it was perfect. I went with my teenage son, i wanted a relaxing few days and he wanted to be doing things. We were both satisfied. The location is great, handy for seeing windmills, cheese farms and clogs being made, yet very convenient for getting in and out of Amsterdam […] too. Public transport is good, with a bus right outside the hotel and if you fancy having a look around locally, the bicycles that you can hire from the hotel are a must. Very nice hotel for the price. If you are staying at this hotel to then go amsterdam there is a bus stop outside the hotel, and if you get a travel card from the hotel (£7.50 deposit) and add 5 euro that will get you there and back. Easy to get to by car from calais. Will be staying there again.

Ideal if you want a quiet stay outside of Amsterdam. A 30 minute bus ride to Amsterdam (bus stop close to hotel). Ideal if you have a hire car (or bike!) to explore nearby towns, Edam, Volendam plus with in easy reach of Delft. Very good service at hotel, responsive friendly staff. Breakfast worth paying the extra for with a decent buffet, good coffee […] and fresh bread and freshly squeezed orange juice, though it could be quite busy in the morning. Only fault - the decor of the room was quite dark and gloomy (a lot of brown) and the bathroom could have done with better lighting. Used this location to visit Amsterdam ,Volendam and Edam for the cheese market also to see the local sights which are really lovely. Breakfast and evening meal were good a bit disappointed that swimming pool has no shallow part this was a bit of a problem as my grandaughter aged 9 could not reach the bottom and although she can swim it is worrying.

This is a great family hotel. It had plenty of restaurants. It was very clean. The hotel desk staff helps in any way they can; like directions, transportaion, any questions. Had all the hussle and bussle of amsterdam in the day, than went to this relaxing Hotel in the evening for our stay and it is only one bus stop away in front of the Hotel. Buy a chip card in the lobby make sure your credit card has a pin number or it will not work in the machine there. 9 euros a day otherwise for round trip, about 13 dollars. You take 20 minutes to amsterdam but you can take the bus waking for 5 minutes.The problem is that the price of the transport is expensive. The TV only have 4 chanels in English and the internet is 1 hour free, but it disconects every 15 minutes. I tnink it is less than 3 stars hotel.

It was a very nice hotel located in calm location near the waters. Rooms were very neat and staffs were good and smiling. Breakfast and dinner was good. Good and relaxing place for a relaxing week end. Its a few km to volendam and its a nice little town. Its a hotel which i highly recommend for a peaceful weekend.
