Radisson Hotel Shimla - Shimla

Arrived at shimla train station only to be greeted by nothing. I had booked a hotel taxi which arrived 30mins late. check in went well and we were shown to our room.The room was ok average i would say in comparison to the price i paid a lot for one night room only. I'm currently living in the Best western royal Park in Baddi which is half the price […] and it blows the radisson away. My wife found some strange hairs in the bathroom(if you know what i mean).And the tv did not work,i called reception and a maintenance staff came and blamed the reception on the rain/thunder. ok i accepted that. But on leaving my room 20 mins later to go to town the next room had the tv blazing away. I did report later on in the evening and another guy repaired within 10 mins. The only bonus to the hotel was the food. It was beautiful and perfect i have been in india for 3 months and its was the best local food i have tasted. But everything else was poor. Læs mere

Pros: Good food. Clean hotel. Parking available. Cons: Little far location from mall road. It requires some walk. No sign boards to find hotel. Staff not very good to entertain all requests, I had upgrade voucher but they did not upgrade me.

I did not find the hotel in anyway justifying the Radisson Name or 5Star rating. The experience was more like a 3 Star Property. Staff was with smile and will say Yes-2 it will be done right away but than nothing. Rather than explaining in delay or refusal of any service there were excuses. I requested for my Son's feeding bottles to be sanitized, forget […] sanitizing, they were not even cleaned properly. The bottles still stink and unhappily compromising I washed them in bathroom under hot water. I will not be returning to this Hotel ever. I asked for someone to clean my Son's stroller and House-Keeping took it as well accepting to clean it. once again forget cleaning they had not even used a cloth to wipe dust and was returned as it is, that too I received a call from house-keeping that they tried there level best to clean but they could not do it. If at all they would have even tried cleaning it, it would have been cleaned. I have forgotten some of my Son's stuff in hotel and till date they have not even called to state that they have found something. We were clicked photographs during New Year Eve and they took our email ID but till date I have not received any email from them sending the soft copies of the same. only thing good was the New Year bouquet that we all received during our stay. Great hotel, great staff great stay, but route is bad, narrow lane no sign posting. do not follow the map of hotels.com it is misleading turn left at victory tunnel. apart from that waooow

Very impressive hotel and lovely, courteous staff. The extras in the hotel like The Spa are also very nice.

Stayed there for 3 nights with 10 colleagues. Had meetings and some activities arranged by the hotel. Everything worked, the service was good and the view was nice.

Hotel Radisson is about 20-25 minutes walking distance from the Mall and that is the only drawback of the hotel. The ambience, service, cleanliness etc. of Hotel is very good. The best part is, the hotel considers above 17 as a adult and hence does not charge extra for 3rd below 17 person.

Så mycket vackrare läge än alla hotell som ligger centralt. Underbar pool i solnedgången. God mat och mycket uppmärksam och trevlig personal.
