Very friendly staff and two very helpful receptionists, who helped us getting around in Ankara. They would give us whatever we asked for, like when we wanted four big towels to Aquapark, one of the hotel staff just smiled and happily gave it to us without any questions, and when we came back to the hotel, there were extra towels for us, so we could […] take a bath. The breakfast was the best thing in the morning; very delicious and they always renewed when there wasn't much more left of something to eat. The location is superb, because it's close to pretty much everything like the Ulus metro station and the train gar and the buses to Kizilay. But the hotel's surroundings aren't very pretty, because it's a bit old, but the hotel itself is very beautiful and looks like a modern hotel even on the outside. The rooms are very comfortable and big. We were four persons in one room, and each one of us had a bed of our own. The bathroom wasn't as big as we thought it would be, but it was definitely comfortable and enough. All in all we liked the hotel and we were even sorry to leave because it was so comfortable and nice. Læs mere

Stayed there for 1 night with the family on a vacation to Turkey. The hotel is well-situated on a busy street but is quite close to Atatturk Caddesi, one of the main streets of downtown Ankara. There are plenty of cheap kebab places downstairs. The citadel and the Museum of Anatolian Civilization are easy 10-15 minute walks from the hotel. The hotel […] was quiet, clean, well-maintained and the staff were quite helpful and pleasant. Biggest issue was actually with hotels.com: I booked the rooms through the website, but about a month before I booked the name of the hotel had changed (to Grand Verna). This was a problem in that it took our taxis quite a while to find the hotel and when we got there, the hotel had no record of our booking. Fortunately they reviewed the receipt I had and were able to give us some rooms and were quite apologetic about the whole ordeal and we ended up getting our rooms. So message for hotels.com staff: Please make sure the names/information on the hotels you list are up-to-date! Læs mere

The hotel is not new or modern but the staff is very friendly, room is clean and comfortable. I like to walk so I could easily get From Cankya to Antikabir without a problem. Just a short 5 minute walk to many bus stops. I really can not say enough about the staff, for an inexpensive place to stay this serves the purpose very well.

The hotel is more than sufficient for a short stay. It is located close to major tourist spots. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant, however, was not open. This was not a plus as the neighborhood is extremely sketchy at night. As a solo female I didn't feel comfortable wandering out after dark. Nor is there a nice restaurant […] to be found. It seems to be somewhat of a red light district and there are ZERO women out at that time. That being said though it fit my needs for two nights. Læs mere

Not on a good street, men and noise all night. Working girls hang out at the end of the street in a bar. The room was large and nice. Few people the first day, hundreds of school age kids on a trip ran up and down the halls the second.

We were welcomed by a very warm and friendly staff who spoke a good level of English. The hotel is very Ottaman in style and well worth staying in if you want a change from the usual bland up market hotel chains. The family room was fine for our overnight stay and everything was clean. There was US and English TV programs available. The breakfast was […] excellent and was inclusive in the price quoted on the website. The location is excellent for the Citidel, Main Musuems, Roman Baths and a number of great off the beaten track restaurants used by locals at reasonable prices. That said, the Ulus area is a bit run down so don't be disappointed by the actual location as it was totally safe to walk around with young children. viaggio nel complesso eccellente. personale molto gentile e disponibile. anche nella città tutti erano gentili. pulizia dell'hotel ottima.unica pecca che la colazione era un pò scarsa di cibo come brioche, tost ecc... per il resto era una colazione tipica americana.

It was a big mistake that we booked this hotel! The hotel appears to be a 3 star hotel but in reality it's not even one. We've got a dirty tiny room with very old furniture. The mini bars fridge did not work. Good that we stayed only one night. We strongly DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Расположена в старом центре города ( район Улус) близко ко всем основным достопримечательностям города( площадь Улус в 2-х минутах от гостиницы), а также в 15 минутах ходьбы до автобусного терминала рядом со стадионом 19 мая, отсюда отходят автобусы до аэропорта ESENBOGA. По бульвару Ататюрка можно пешком дойти из Улуса до Кызылая ( другой центральный […] район), хотя ходит много атобусов ulus-kizilay. Гостиница вполне 3 звезды, номера чистые, ванна ( сидячая), вода горячая без проблем, очень тепло в номере, я даже спала с открытым окном ( была в декабре с 17 по 19 число). Завтрак - стандартный шведский стол 3-4 звездочных гостиниц Анталии. В номере есть холодильник с мини-баром ( разная вода, напитки плюс сладости). Вид из окна не очень, но в Улусе и нет особых пейзажных красот. Рядом много всяких кафешек и магазинов. Вобщем, гостиница для своего уровня вполне достойная. Персонал внимателен и дружелюбен. Resepsjonpersonalet var meget hjelpsom for å finne bussmuligheter til Hattusa i siste dag av Ramadan, som er som Påske i Norge.
