Hotellet lå rigtig godt og var nemt at finde fra st. - Personalet var meget venligt. - Det eneste jeg synes var dårligt, var den seng jeg sov i. Man kunne mærke fjedrene igennem stoffet og lå meget dårligt.

This funny little hotel, decorated like a ship, has great service, good beds and an okay breakfast. Lille, men udmærket værelse. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Hyggelig lounge, hvor morgenbuffeten serveres. Eneste minus: ingen varme på badeværelset. Kan varmt anbefale "Lord Nelson".

Meget hyggeligt hotel midt i den gamle stad i Stockholm, men trods beliggenheden dejlig fredeligt om natten, venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Et hotel vi ville vælge igen.

Rooms very quite small and WiFi had trouble connecting/reaching. Staff was very helpful and friendly, everything was clean and nice. Breakfast was no major excitement, but nothing to complain about either. All in all a very decent choice if you just need a cheap bed for the night located in a convenient place.

Vi var meget glade for opholdet, men kan kun påpege at vi synes at det er lidt for dårligt at der ikke er varme på badeværelset og i det mindste så burde der være en bademåtte så man ikke behøvede at stå på det iskolde gulv..

Et herligt hotel midt i Gamla Stan. Eneste ting, jeg kunne have ønsket mig ekstra var en lånecykel ;-) Ellers var alt i top. Hyggeligt og virkelig venlige mennesker i receptionen, der altid lavede en kop te, når man havde lyst.

Anderledes hotel meget centralt. Støj fra gaden meget lidt lys og luft. Område for turister men et sted jeg kan anbefale at prøve at bo.

Hotellet ligger centralt i Gamla Stan, så atmosfæren omkring er hyggelig. Værelset var hyggeligt og i fin stand - dog ret lille. Morgenmadbuffetten var ok men ikke overvældende.

Hotellet er valgt efter beliggenheden mit i den gamle bydel. Derfor har vi på forhånd vidst, at der var små værelser og ingen parkering på hotellet, men vi fik tilbudt parkeringsservice. Vi havde derfor ingen skuffede forventninger, og blev godt modtaget.

We had a lovely stay. Staff were very friendly. It is right in the middle of the old town. It was really cold outside, but lovely and warm inside (but you can still open the windows). The bathroom is very small - but that is in keeping with the hotel theme of being ship shape!

The hotel is right in the centre of the old town so a great location, the hotel has a lot of maritime antiques including a model ship in each room creating a nice theme. Reasonable breakfast included. However the room was very small.

The room was basic and small but tidy and fit for purpose. Staff very helpful adn firendly. Outside street noise did caused disturbed nights' sleep

Lord Nelson Hotel is in a fantastic location for 1st time visitors to Stockholm. We managed to do quite a lot of sight seeing and the atmosphere for Xmas was lovely. We got a Stockholm card and found the public transport made our journeys very easy. Would definately stay again on our next visit.

I was very happy with my stay. I came in rather late from Chicago via Copenhagen and I booked thia hotel just to be sure to get there quite fast if I was going to be delayed and I was eager to see my son right away somewhere in Stockholm. I couldn't have picked a better place. Easy access, cozy room and just right in everything from price to location. […] When I went to bed that night, all pooped out, I was thinking about the breakfast and YEAH, that was the best breakfast buffet I had had in years and years (according to me who does not eat breakfast normally and I go to Vegas regularly and have their buffets...). It was so delicious. I love the area. Old familiar neighborhood. Quiet even though on a busy street (the main street of Old Town). I loved the price. I don't need more than a clean room and a bed when I travel like this. The bathroom was almost bigger than the bedroom but that was kinda OK. I wasn't going to entertain exactly. Læs mere

Located in the old town, accessible to most attractions. Walking distance to train station. Rooms are tiny, but not a big negative. Decent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Free, reliable Internet connection.

i don't want to say anything negative about this hotel. it just was not a good fit for my husband and me because we had one large, one medium and one small suitcase. there was nowhere to put the large one. we talked to renate at the front desk and she promptly got us a larger room at their sister hotel - the lady hamilton just around the corner. we […] couldn't have been happier with our room there and couldn't have been more appreciative of renate for making the move so easy for us. what we saw of the lord nelson was very charming - especially the view from the rooftop. tak so mycket! The hotel is situated right in the heart of "Gamla Stan", the old part of Stockholm. Ideal for exploring without using much public transport. It is perfectly placed in the […] centre of Gamla Stan, [the old town], so walkable from Central Station and to all the sites; round the corner from Cathedral and Royal Palace. It can be noisy but only because it is near the Churches with bells that chime the hour. Also the old town consists of quaint, cobbled streets that people stroll down in the evenings. But none of this bothered me, it's just something to consider. This hotel has lots of character and unlike the faceless, sterile, corporate options. I was surprised just how small the room was. The entire building is only 6m wide, so it is a unique and interesting experience. The decorations and ornaments are quite interesting, but the dimensions of the room were a little too tiny. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and safe and its location in the heart of Gamla Stan can't be beat: It's in the middle of everything - palaces, restaurants, cellar bars... Every naval architect should stay there when visiting Stockholm. Every history buff too. Would definitely return.

Very central hotel - small and full of character. Very well kept. Good service from receptionists and breakfast waitress - all very helpful and remembered us and our room numbers when we came back from a day sightseeing. Rooms small but we didn't spend the day in them! They had everything we needed. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room not overlooking […] the street as it can be noisy. Attractive hotel with very helpful staff. Plenty of food at breakfast and lots of choice. Good location to get around Stockholm. If you're willing you can walk to most places. When our flight was cancelled, and we were stranded at the airport on our journey home, they came to the rescue with a room at their sister hotel the Lady Hamilton. The information […] desk at Arlanda Airport had told us there were no rooms available in Stockholm or the area around the Airport. So we rang the Lord Nelson and they were brilliant. We received a very warm welcome to this charming hotel in Stockholm's pedestrian Old Town, from which we could walk just about anywhere we wished. Parking was tricky, requiring leaving the rental vehicle at the sister hotel, Lady Hamilton, around the corner. The hotel is in Gamla Stan, very easy to find and convenient for this area of Stockholm. My single room was on the first floor, it was cabin sized but large enough for my short stay. The location, although convenient was very noisy, the church clock strikes every quarter hour and the noise from the street echoes into the room. I found it rather dark […] inside as there was a home opposite which was very close and I had the curtains partly drawn for privacy. Mest att anmärka här är nog allt oljud från gatan (det är väldigt lyhört) som gör det svårt att sova framför allt fredag och lördag kvällar samt en snålt tilltagen frukost. Lite bröd, kaffe och flingor är i princip det enda du får på denna "frukostbuffé".

Ett hotell i kedjan med Lady Hamilton/Victory i som även ligger i närheten. Som att komma in i ett museum med massor av sjöfartsdetaljer överallt. Det är intressant. Man kan gå runt runt och fascineras av allt pilljobb som är nedlagt på alla modeller. Men det känns att man tappat skötseln. Dammiga glasmontrar, dammiga detaljer, lampor i utställningsdetaljerna […] som är trasiga - känns sådär. Har bott på Victory som är samma typ men där är det verkligen skött som det skall.
