Hilton Sanya Resort & Spa - Sanya

The hotel is very beautiful and better than my wife and I had expected. It is close to the beach and also has a lovely array of swimming pools. We didn't dine at the hotel apart from breakfast, which had both western and Asian food to choose.

Booked Hilton over the net via Hotel.com. The hotel was very pleasant and well kept. Food in the Big Kitchen is average but the IZE is very good. Excellent service at the latter.

staff was really service minded, remembered your favorites in the restaurants! Brought you cost free cold towels, fresh fruit and water at the pools and the beach! Atmosphere was good probably because the management was good!

If you're looking for a beach vacation Florida-style, then this is a perfect place to go. The hotel area is huge, kind of Disney-land stylish. There are lots of small walking-paths around the resort area taking you to different small lakes or swimming-pools, and small loud-speakers hidden in the bushes along the paths play music to you, adding up to […] the experience. Although the hotel has many guests, the size of the resort itself makes sure that there are never too many people at the swimming pools or the beach. It's actually really comfortable and relaxing. Sanya, and Hainan province in general, is also a recommended place to go in itself. It's completely unlike the rest of China. Due to the low population, most places are really clean (including the trains), and there's a lot of nature to experience. One minus: The hotel and all the services at the hotel are really expensive. This is not the place to eat if you're on a budget. On the plus-side: There's a small aera with some really good and not-too-expensive restaurants and a supermarket just 25 minutes' walk from the hotel. Just go right and follow the street, and you'll see the place on your left. You can get a good dinner for everywhere between 50 and 200 yuan per person, depending on your choice, including a really good sea-food restaurant with fish and clams right out of the aquarium. Based on written reviews plus feedback from friends who had stayed at the Hilton last year, we decided to spend five nights here in March 2011. My wife and I brought our three boys (7, 4, and 4). Two […] are pools with sandy beaches, giving you an opportunity to be on the hotel main grounds but at the 'beach' in a protected way. There are a couple mild water slides that provide a nice change a couple times during the day for the kids. The outdoor bar serves food and drink at all hours. Food was actually very good. A bit pricey but not what I would consider inconsistent with any hotel restaurant at a 4-5 star resort. Great kids menu that is reasonably affordable. Quality of food was excellent. The rooms include breakfast and they do an outstanding job...it was really good variety and quality. Dinner options were limited, so we often went outside the hotel. The beach was great but the accomodations were a bit tight. Other hotels had more space between their loungers. We did take several walks to other locations to check out other hotels. Marriott, Ritz, Mangrove, Sheraton. All were nice but not one had me thinking I wish I would have stayed there...with perhaps the exception of the Ritz. Second time inthe Hilton Sanya and again a wonderful experience - great food - great service. The hotel was very full so the staff was streched but when something slipped,they immediately took action. One tip - take your own DVDs or games in case a tropical storm hits - the ones they rent out are too pricey for just 4 hrs.

Аt the same time there are inadequate very high prices to stay and services. Money isn't a problem for me but my time is very expensive. I used and expected to get much more there. Très bonne surprise. Connaissant les hôtels en Chine, nous nous attendions à moins bien. Hôtel très bien entretenu, magnifique jardin, piscine paysagère, personnel très agréable, buffet petit déjeuner génial. Parfait pour des vacances au soleil à ne rien faire. 良い点　　①安全で安心できるリゾート②設備は一通りそろっている。　良くない点①バカみたいに値段が高い②客室が多いわりに朝食を取れるレストランは1箇所しかなく、めちゃくちゃ騒々しい。　　　　　　　　　　総合点　良くも悪くもこれぞ中国という感じ。同じ物でこんなにも値段が違うか！と関心してしまうくらい高い。比べて施設設備は完璧に豪華絢爛見た目で勝負と言わんばかり。

Das Hotel ist in großen Teilen mit sehr gut geeignet als Ferien- und Businesshotel zu bezeichnen. Leider stören teils sehr laute Gäste das Gastlandes. Geweldig hotel, mooie kamers en prima service. Direct aan het strand. Maar je bent totaal afhankelijk qua eten, drinken etc van dit hotel en daar zijn de prijzen naar! Het is 30 minuten met de taxi rijden om ergens anders te eten. Ontbijt is 25 euro en cola is 6,00 euro! Restaurant is ook erg prijzig maar wel heel lekker. Voor China zijn deze prijzen […] echt veel te hoog, ondanks dat het een Hilton is. Verder prima hotel. Internet is wifi in de lobby voor 10 euro per dag! Læs mere
