Vienna Woods Hotel - Cork

We spent 3n here as a base to look around east Cork (Youghal, Middleton, Cobh etc) and it was just wonderful. The hotel is lovely, in a lovely wooded location in Glanmire outside the city. Its architecture and furnishings were quite beautiful, and we enjoyed some lovely meals there a few evenings. Staying in Cork city can be a bit frought sometimes […] if you're planning to actually use your car, because the few spaces most hotel car parks have tend to get snapped up - so when you arrive back theres often nowhere to go but one of the extortionate multi-stories. In contrast in the Vienna Woods we could come and go as we pleased without worrying about car parking. It suited us perfectly, and the hotel itself was delightful and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. We look forward to returning. Læs mere

Nice hotel but the breakfast room too small when the hotel is full so I recommend you go early for breakfast to get a table.

Really nice hotel short drive from city , Staff friendly and efficient rooms clean and tidy . Food very good nice function room as we attended wedding there . A little bit isolated from a local pub or restaurant really a taxi drive away.

a clean and comfortable hotel with helpful staff. You need a car to get into the city and other areas.

Buses to the vicinity are scarce after 7.45 and commence only at 7.20, so expect to pay €15 for a taxi but that is the only negative aspect relating to this friendly, professional hotel. Lovely hotel, and good value, but not handy at all for Cork. Needed lots of money for taxis.

This hotel is a great bargain. However, when booking, be careful to note what you are getting. Especially when booking from an outside website, be careful to note what is included (i.e. breakfast, wi-fi, etc.) and what type of room you are to get. There is a "new" part and "old" part of the hotel, and although both will suite your needs, the "old" portion […] is definitely more simple and not like the pictures shown. Additionally, the "complimentary" wi-fi is one hour free, and then a significant charge for any additional use. The hotel is also out of the city of Cork, so unless you are renting a car, be careful about transportation to and from. Lovely hotel for a quiet romantic stay, drawing rooms with beautiful chandeliers comfortable couches and open fires. Fresh flowers everywhere and staff very helpful

Hotellet hade dessutom bra mat till rimliga priser. Stora fina ytor med massor av trevliga sällskapsutrymmen.

Hotel très bien situé au calme Nous avons dinné par hasard un soir et nous avons découvert une cuisine excellante à un prix très raisonnable Nous avons donc décidé de dinner tous les soirs suivants Le personnel est très accueillant Un des serveurs très sympathique est francais Ca peut etre utile!!!
