Super dejligt hotel med dygtigt og imødekommende personale. Har vøret der før og kommer gerne igen.

When we arrived, we were given 2 suites with a wiev of Gibraltar. Nice and helpful staff - and charming serving in the bar and restaurant. I will definately go there again to find out if it was pure luck - or simply one of the best places I have ever stayed

Morgen buffet (incl) var stor og pæn. Eneste minus ved hotellet, var at der er meget lydt. Så man skal sove tungt for ikke at blive vækket af andre gæster.

Overall very easy access to the rock not too sure about the rea let at night the hotel though was good evening meal great value at 10 euros. Room comfy worth the upgrade to get views of gibrater weather was fantastic

The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the Gibraltar border. My room was clean and perfectly adequate. Evening meal is a buffet, with lots of choice and quite good. Breakfast also very good and a lot of variety. For the money it's very good value.

On the whole a good hotel though probably more likely to appeal to those on business as it lacked the character of other hotels I have stayed in. It is large and rather impersonal and our room was basic but always clean with plenty of storage and a good bathroom. Our 6th floor room had an excellent view of the Rock albeit with an equally good view of […] the roof of a neighbouring building and the noise of what could be a very busy road.The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice however the dinner buffet (sampled twice) was disappointing in choice and quality. The service in the restaurant was sometimes a little too efficient as the tables were cleared and reset very quickly leaving you wondering where your unfinished meal had gone if, for example, you happened to leave the table in search of more coffee! The guide, Peter who sold tours most days in the hotel reception was excellent and in our experience couldn't be faulted. La Linea itself did not have much to offer although there were some nice pavement cafes that served good and cheap coffee! However there wasn't much choice for an evening meal which left you limited to the hotel, Burger King or a walk across to Gibraltar which is flat and easy along the main road taking on average 10 minutes. All in all a good value hotel, significantly cheaper than those in Gibraltar and a good base for those visiting The Rock. Læs mere

everything was great

No complaints about this hotel. Nice modern set up, buffet food was a bit unfulfilling and just OK. We booked this hotel to visit friends in Gibraltar and since we spent nearly no time in the hotel except to sleep, we did not have any issues. I would recommend it, particularly upgrading to a junior suite with a view of Gibraltar.

The hotel should be a 2 or 3 star, we had a junior suite which we booked as a 2 bedroom, but in fact was an ordinary room. The photos are glossy and misleading. the pool is a small puddle. the hotel was noisy inside and out for the 3 nights. To top it up, the free breakfast was of very poor quality. Overall an oversold poor quality hotel.

This is a new hotel with modern architecture. Situated only 2-5 minutes walk from Gibraltar, the hotel is a real bargain . I would really recommend this to anyone who would want to spend more than a day in Gibraltar.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nites and visited Gibraltar and Morroco from there, the breakfast buffet was fantastic the dinner buffet also was a hit, parking was 6 e and internet 6 e per day.

The Campo Azur isn't a bad choice. The rooms are functional, bathrooms well-equipped and there's a pleasant balcony. We stayed twice going in and out of Gibraltar. Our first room overlooked the pool (closed at this time of the year) and the second time we overlooked the street but both rooms had side views of the sea and the marina in La Linea and both […] were quiet. It's a pity that one of the panels in the revolving entrance door was badly cracked, both when we arrived and the second time we stayed a week later, as this doesn't create a very good first impressionThe reception area is rather bare and check-in a bit old-fashioned but staff were generally pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts were more than adequate, though on our second stay, the staff were very late getting the breakfast room organised and it was a good hour after the advertised time before anything cooked appeared. We ate once in the hotel restaurant but the set lunch was a bit disappointing, The hotel's great advantage is its proximity to the Spanish-Gibraltar border - a leisurely ten minute walk and a couple of minutes more to the airport. It's certainly not worth taking a taxi unless you have a lot of heavy luggage or it's pouring with rain! All in all, the Campo Azur represents reasonable value for money, though it's a fairly utilitarian choice. Læs mere

Great location,just 5 - 10 mins away from Gibraltar border.great value for money.comfortable rooms. There is a charge for beverages so recommend to take your own.Good selection at breakfast, hot and cold buffet. only downside the hot food wasn't hot enough. I would definitely use this hotel again.

We wanted to visit Gibraltar and found this to probably be the best value for your money. Easy short walk to the border. Great breakfast. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I think they upgraded us for free to a better view since it was fairly empty when we were there. Situated in La Linea de la Concepcion, the Spanish town on Gibraltar's border, this hotel is comfortable and many of the rooms have a superb view of Gibraltar from pleasant balconies. Breakfast is the usual Spanish hotel fare with plenty of choice, and evening meals in the bar are good value if not cordon bleu. It's a very large hotel and therefore […] fairly anonymous, and the staff are efficient. The roof terrace and swimming pool looked as though they would be very nice indeed but were undergoing refurbishment when we visited. It's very close to the bus station and about 10 minutes' walk to the Gibraltar border which is best crossed on foot. The area around the hotel looks a bit 'rough' but we felt safe walking around. The hotel is only 10 mins walk from the border into Gibraltar. Hotel staff spoke english well and were very helpful. For an extra few euros we upgraded to a room with a view of the Rock. Spectacular! Would stay there again.

Good clean rooms, spacious, plus tea and coffee maker, in room safe at extra charge . We upgraded to a junior suite on check in for just 16 Euros extra, it was first rate. Staff were very helpful and gave us card for garage entry straight away, so we checked in afterwards. This cost 6 Euros a night, well worth it ,diffcult parking area otherwise. Excellent […] buffet breakfast was included in the original price. We dined out in the evenings as restaurant seemed pretty deserted and the menu (of the day) was not readily available. Definitely not 4* hotel-more 3*. Stayed long weekend to visit relatives in Gibraltar so location good as quick walk across frontier. Problem with water-rather brown and smelly. Reception said it was being dealt with but two days of revolting bath! Still, good value for money.

Very good hotel close to the border with Gibraltar (only about 8 minutes walk).

Only let down slightly by restaurant service and strange vacant plot adjacent to hotel.

Quite a good location if you wish to make visits to Gibraltar. The fronteer is close by and easy to walk to. The room was very comfortable and as I had a junior sweet it's position was lovely. There was no cool control which was a pity as the weather was quite warm and the room became very hot at night. The dining room food was OK, many choices, so […] never hungry. Lovely hotel - nice and clean and very upmarket. Room was huge with a massiv balcony overlooking the marina with a view of the rock. Just over the border from Gibraltar (about a 10 minute walk). Better to walk to border than drive - traffic starts queuing up at 6.00 am until after 9am! Breakfast was first class. Chose the hotel due to the proximity of the border with Gibraltar. Arrived at 11am expecting luggage to be stowed until the afternoon, surprised to be given a room immediately- Great service from reception. Rooms were really clean and the breakfast buffet was great. perfect location. The rock was right in front of us from the balcony. No complaints hotel wise but it is is plain vanilla. strongly recommend you take taxi tour for the rock if you are doing it in one day. you simply cannot cover all that area on foot... best advice I can give

The location is everything here. Beautiful views of Gibralter which enticed me onto the balcony at night. A 5 minute walk from the border. Rooms are clean. But the whole hotel has a feel like it had just been opened -sort of half finished. Food was of the all inclusive buffet kind. Breakfast was awful but hotel ok - aimed at young people.Reception Staff were not good service wise, tried to sell us upgrade when already paid. Staff called us a cab to go to Gibraltor airport when journey lasted 2 minutes and cost 4 euros instead of telling us to walk.

Very well situated hotel convenient for Gibralater.The cost of the hotel was about half that of those in Gibraltar. It was a 5 minute walk from Gibraltar Airport to the hotel

Good hotel ,probably better than staying at hotel in Gibraltar . Buffet breakfast well laid out , choice of hot or cold food ,clean and good service .Grear view from balcony Location great for daily visits over the border to Gibraltar, in walking distance Selection of bars and restaurants close by in La Linea. Bus station near hotel for visits to locations […] like Malaga or I went to the port Algeciras where you can get the high speed ferry to Ceuta 40 Minutes or Tanger 1 hour in Morocco. Læs mere

We very much enjoyed our two day stay. Made very welcome and the food was excellent especially the breakfast. The only down fall was our room had twin beds which we had no object to however did not find them very comfordable to sleep. Would stay at this hotel again.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel itself was lovely and clean, and a nice big breakfast was included every morning. The staff, however, were rude and insensitive to English speakers. The hotel is just around the corner from Gibraltar - it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the border and then another 10-15 to actually walk into the Gibraltar […] city centre once you pass the border. Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my son and grandchildren as we love to visit Gibralter, Great veiws, good selection for breakfast, hotel facilities were adequate for our stay. The hotel was in a great location, good room, working fridge (which isn't always the case!), good buffet breakfast.....its a real shame to have to comment on very bad check in service! We waited 40 mins in a queue for check-in by 2 staff. Not sure what the issues were, they seemed sooooooooooo slow in dealing with people! Not a very good first impression […] at all and for this reason only I would warn anyone about it.....it probably is enough to put me off going back which is a shame but 'first impressions', etc, etc, leave a long lingering nasty feel to the place. We stayed at this hotel because we were visiting Gibraltar and it was very inexpensive. Great location, easy to walk across the border, but not exactly a luxurious place. I felt a little bit uncomfortable in La Linea and in this hotel (i.e. I made sure my wallet was safe and locked up my laptop and other valuables in the room), but did not have any […] problems. Hotel staff spoke English. It looked like they had originally assigned us a room with a great view, but then moved us to a different room with not a great view, don't know if it was because we did not pay for the upgrade or what. Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay there. If you are visiting Gibraltar and are unable to stay in Gibraltar itself due to price, availability etc, then this is a perfect hotel to choose. It's clearly an old building and the corridors look very dated, however the rooms have been modernised (as has reception/restaurant […] etc) and are well decorated and perfectly comfortable. We had the Junior Suite and it was brilliant - loads of room and a huge balcony. If you're used to glamorous and luxurious hotels, then the dated nature may disappoint, but for the majority or people who want a comfortable, convenient hotel then this is perfect. Location is perfect as it's about a 7-10 minute walk from the border with Gibraltar and the Airport, and therefore only about a 20 minute walk from Casemates Square or Ocean Village. Crossing the border is no trouble at all - you just walk straight through every time as long as you have a passport to wave at someone. Good breakfast buffet at the hotel - nice swimming pool (a bit small, but still OK), and staff were helpful (can store luggage there after checkout for the rest of the day). Would certainly recommend and if visiting Gibraltar again would go back there. Læs mere
