hotellet ligger fint på södermalm. for enden af göta-gaden som er "hoved-puls-åren" og tæt på tunnelbanan. nyt og trendy hotel med fine faciliteter. lågen til køleskabet var i stykker og døren til toilettet kunne næsten ikke lukkes fordi den var skæv. det er for ringe til sådan et ellers pænt hotel. vi valgte et mindre værelse, hvilket jeg ikke vil […] anbefale. selvom der står det er til 2, er der kun en 3/4 seng og én dyne (dog 2 puder og 2 håndklæder) Læs mere

Et godt hotel med beliggenhed ved ringvejen. Dette er dog ikke generende og det ligger ved gode indkøbsmuligheder og restauranter. Morgenmadsbuffet med godt udvalg - serveres dog i stor og noget larmende sal.

Clarion is a really nice hotel located only 10 min walk away from the posh SoFo district and close to the metro system (Tunnelbanen). Remember to use your Choice membershipcard and get free vouchers and news papers.

Men aircondition virkede ikke og vinduerne var skruet fast så de ikke kunne åbnes. Ved påtale forklarede Receptionen at vinduerne ikke måtte åbnes men at de ville "kigge på det" (a/c) men resultatet var uforandret. Derfor alt for varmt om natten...

Nemt, bekvemt og lige til. Metroen lige ved døren, bussen lige overfor. Hotellet har god udsigt fra næsten alle vinduer. At kommer ud og se byen er nemt da man får god hjælp i receptionen.

Meget lækkert værelse på 6. etage med flot udsigt til Globen. Stor morgenbuffet. Opmærksomt personale. Meget fin pris/kvalitetsforhold.

Tiny rooms. 5 pillows in the bed, but none comfortable (only synthetic/elastic pillows). Breakfast with great variety!

Wish I known WHICH stop it was close to, which is why I chose this hotel. An earlier post didn't mention it and we instead got off at a stop 2 km away instead. I wondered about the earlier poster's sense of direction and distance LOL. With that price: excellent location. Rigt next to subway stations and only couple of minutes to city center. Good service and good breakfast.

Very nice hotel in Södermalm. Moderate room was small, but still ok. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff and good service. Late checkout at 1 pm (we asked for it).

Really clean and nice hotel in Södermalm near Globen. The breakfast was best I've ever written - there was simply everything, including pancakes. And the bread was so good! Only small minus was a double bed that was a bit narrow for two persons.

Excellent location with good connections to everywhere, nice and comfortable rooms with outstanding personal and service!

I can really recommend this hotel to anyone. It has a great location in one of Stockholms hippest parts with good restaurants and clubs close by, yet only one station from the central parts of Stockholms. Great functional hotel on the edge of central stockholm. great if you have a car and are stopping off for a night as access is easy and parking next door. easy walk up Götgatan in the morning for a day in the city. breakfast is fantastic but expect hordes of other people as well as they really pack em in. hotel is pretty lively as well with a popular […] bar in the lobby and always activities going on. A very enjoyable night's stay with welcoming staff and a quiet room. Excellent breakfast buffet. Would have found a shower cap useful though!

In all ways a very pleasant hotel to stay in. No noisy disco under the room, you don´t even know that you have room neighbours, no grumpy staff, breakfast is wonderful with a large selection of everything, very nice interior designes and really close to the subway.

The Clarion hotels are all very nice and comfortable. I would highly recommend this particular hotel if you like swimming or running as it is close to a nice park and fantastic ex-olympic swimming center which has 3 pools. The hotel in itself is very nice and clean, close to subway too. You are 10mins or 3 stops away from GamlaStand, with the Castle, […] and another 5mins is T-Centralen. The only "negative" is that the Bar is too busy, or too small, and the breakfast buffet was very busy when i was there due to a conference. Læs mere

For the price, this hotel is well worth your stay. It's a little outside the city centre so be aware. We took the train from Oslo to Stockholm Central and it's a good 10 minute cab ride to get to the southern tip of Sodermalm. That said, once you're there, the hotel and service is fantastic. It's also a 1/2 block away to the Skanstull t-bana station […] so it makes transportation into Gamla Stan, T-Centralan, or anywhere else very easy. Sodermalm is also a very cool, hip area so things within walking distance to your hotel aren't bad either. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Stockholm. Læs mere

A clean and quite stylishly decorated hotel. Good quality overall but very crowded due to a large amount of rooms but small common areas, the breakfast was quite chaotic with people everywhere. Service was good though and our room very nice, this in combination with a pretty good location next to a subwaystation leads to that I will consider staying […] here again. Læs mere

We had stayed in this hotel previously so booked it again when we decided to go back to Stockholm without hesitation. The location is brilliant, T-Bana station is nearly outside the door or you can stroll up the main road into the Old Town in about 15-20minutes. Beds are really comfy and room is a good size. We were at the hotel when it was very busy. Breakfast was really good - but very very busy. We had a moderate double room - which I would classify as a single room. We had a single duvet, no fresh air, no wardrobe (four hangers...), no drawers, had to ask for second towels and a larger sheet. Worst of all the room was quite stuffy. Very modern and nice hotel in the Sodermalm district. You have to take the subway (3 stops) to get to the Gamla stam (Old Town) but the subway is just around the corner. The bars and clubs are two stops away or 20-minute walk. I'd definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, 1/2 block to subway. Incredible breakfast buffet even had sections for lactose free and vegan. Room was very quiet and clean. My first room had a broken phone and the shower leaked, so I was moved to a larger room at no cost and with no hassle. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and all speak excellent English. An ATM machine at […] a Swedebank is directly across the street and a small post office is located inside a mall across the street. You can access the public swimming park next to the hotel for a small fee. I would give this hotel an A+ rating and would recommend it to all my friends. I traveled with a friend who had stayed here before. She stayed at a place that was $20 a night less and regretted it. My room was spacious, well-lit, very clean. Towels were thick and fluffy. Room came with shampoo, shower gel, hand lotion, and a hair dryer. Only think I could not find was a laundromat near the hotel. The hotel is near to the metro, shopping in Sofo, Gamle Stan and the city. Good breakfast (even with a japanese breakfast), a clean room.

I was ther for 3 day course. The staff were efficient, friendly and spoke excellent english. My room was single occupancy, quite small, but clean and modern. Tv was large and there was a good choice of english tv. Breakfast was a buffet, with excellent choice of food and beverages. Public transport was very close to the hotel. My 2 friends and I stayed at the Clarion during a recent trip to Sweden. Although it is located in Soderhamn it's only 4 metro stops from Central Station and less than a 5km walk such that it is very convenient. And more of a value property than what we found near Central Station so that was much appreciated as Sweden is expensive. Soderhamn is a fabulous […] area with many restaurants and cafes and very safe. The hotel itself had a great outside area for sharing drinks and relaxing. The inside lounge near reception is another great option for sharing a drink and relaxing. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel provided good value for money. The free buffet breakfast is wonderful and not to be missed. The hotel also has about 4 computers that provide free internet access to its guests. Læs mere

Only bad thing about the whole stay was no kettle in room but if you're not into your hot drinks not a problem. However I was told I could get hot water at the bar never did though as was not a big deal for me. As it was the only problem next time I go I'll take a travel kettle. Very efficient staff & friendly too. The Best breakfast buffet ever with choices to cater for everyone even those who have special needs like a gluten free diet. Loved the blankets you could wrap yourself in while sitting outside at the lobby bar. Would definitely stay here again. Big hotel, but very comfortable rooms with just about the biggest shower area I've ever seen. Very friendly staff and a great breakfast included in the price. What's not to like :)

I loved this hotel and everything about it - my only gripe would be that wifi cost 25 SEK for 24 hours when it's free even in youth hostels and it was very annoying as I had to re login with a lengthy username and password each time. The area is great and the hotel is signposted from within the underground station. Your hotel keycard gives you 10% […] discount at the department store next door. I always stay at the Clarion when visiting Stockholm for business. It's in a very convenient location (Södermalm), with great restaurants, etc within walking distance. The hotel rooms are very comfortable as well, although the "Single" room can be a bit cramped at times. Very pleased with our stay. Great location right near tube, easy access to centre. Room was spacious, bed and bedding comfortable and fresh. Not so keen on being unable to open windows but assume it is unsafe and would be noisy. Only other slight niggle was how busy it was at breakfast around 9am but we went at 7.45 the next day and it was fine. […]  Excellent choice of food. Læs mere

Smart, reasonably priced hotel only 100 yards from metro station, so excellent location as a base to see all the sights. Great buffet style breakfast which even catered for special diets with no hassle. Shops and restaurants within easy reach.

The single rooms seem to be quite small, a bed at the window, a desk and a chair in the corner is all you will find in this hotel. Nevertheless the design is typical swedish and the bed is pleasant to sleep in. The view could have been better, not all rooms have such a great view as advertised on their webpage.
