"Super 8 in Laramie clean but noisy"
Nice, clean large rooms with friendly staff. The individual heaters / air conditioners were very loud and cycle on and off all night. We all slept poorly due to this noise!

My daughter and I stayed at the Super 8 Motel in Laramie while on a 3 state, 3 college tour out west. Yes, as some of the other reviewers pointed out, it is near a truck stop. "Served it's purpose"
The hotel is obviously an older facility. The room was clean, though we did ask for a new bedspread. The surrounding area is mostly truck stops, lots of related trash (tires, rims, beverage bottles, oil containers/ filters). We frequently travel with our dogs, so this was convenient. This has to be one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. We requested a non-smoking room, and received a smoking room. It was a VERY busy weekend in Laramie and every hotel was booked so we had no choice but to take the room. "Check In"
They tried to get us to pay for anothe room because they were only able to locate 3 out of our 4 rooms that were reserved. They did have an additional room but expected me to pay for it when I already paid for a total of four rooms thru Hotels.com

Stayed here four times now. It is a convenient place to stay and very reasonably priced.
"Super 8 Laramie"
I have stayed at this hotel 2 other times now and I think that it is a very nice hotel. The first room I stayed in had a rough bed, woke up sore. But the second time the bed was much better. I plan on staying here again if ever needed.
We found a long hair in our bed. It was not a good thing. Would never go back.

this hotel is by the railway, but for the price it was ok it was comfortable it had coffee in your room and it was a good size, clean , i do smell rooms and this smelt ok but you do get what you pay for and for a couple of nights it was ok
"Once was enough"
The bed was very uncomfortable. The water temperature in the shower was so uneven I had to stop and readjust several times. We checked in around 1 and the room wasn't done yet. I'm glad it was only a one night stay.
"Strange"
Alarm clock didn't work. One of the lamps beside the bed couldn't be turned on, because there wasn't an outlet. The lamp was just a decoration.

"Good Enough in a Pinch"
Big doin's in Cheyenne spilled over to Laramie. Rooms were scarce and expensive. Finally got the last room at the Super 8 having had no luck elsewhere. Motel is kind of hard to find. Look behind the Shamrock station which is behind the Best Western across the street from the Pilot station. A Wendys in the Pilot station is the only place to eat nearby. […] The motel looks rundown on the outside. It's an old facility, small lobby, dreary halls. The room, though, was a pleasant surprise. Fairly clean after my wife scrubbed the phone and TV remote. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Sparse but adequate continental breakfast in the morning. Pleasant staff. I would stay again if I had too. Læs mere

"Smoking Hotel"
Even though we requested non-smoking rooms - the lobby was so filled with smoke that it gave family members a headache. Some actually left and went to another hotel (even though we had prepaid reservations) because this one was so smelly.
"Nice and quiet on the outskirts of Laramie"
This place is on the north western corner of Laramie. It's not the newest of places so don;t be expecting gleaming walls and swimming pools. It's kind of remote but the hotel is quiet and clean. Not much of a breakfast here, suggest you make plans if light continental fare is not your speed. The oddest thing about the place are the *pink* sheets. "Old and Dumpy."
The hotel is a Super 8, so your expectations are not much,and it does not disappoint. Old, Smelly, and not great. Bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom was extremely tiny. Did have free wi-fi though, so that was a plus. Location is good, and convenient. Overall, it is what you would expect from an older Super 8, nothing more.

Previous reviews noted that internet service was often a problem. It still is. Internet service was slow, often interrupted and not available for long periods. This inspite of the prominately placed "Free internet service" sign on the front desk.
"Hotel was good"
This hotel has its up sides and down sides to it the Up sides being it was close to places to eat and sence i'm a truckdriver it was close to 3 truckstops that i use most often. "Needs much improvement"
For a Super 8, it was ok. It was not in the best of conditions and the pink sheets were weird. It was close to a truck stop and a truck repair yard was directly behind the hotel so there was some noise from that. Apparently it's also a place that many motorcyclists stop at on their road trip to whatever runs they are attending, so there was a great […] many motorcycles, which is fine if you're into that sort of thing. I think it was a little pricey for the condition it was in. Very bizzare layout though. You step down into the lobby area and the steps are uneven and "dips" make the steps seem unsteady. "Decent and relatively inexpensive"
The rooms have had some updating, the flat screen and refrig were nice. The bathroom still needed more work, but was fine. Overall it is a decent hotel, nothing exciting but nothing scary either.

"Good affordable value"
The hotel was clean and so were the rooms. It seems a little on the outdated side and I didn't like the pink sheets. I always like white, so you know how clean they are. The value was good and the beds were comfortable. We didn't hear any noises or our neighbors.

"Good choice"
We stayed just one night, but our hotel room was clean and comfortable, and the management was friendly. The choices for breakfast were adequate and worked fine for us. The hotel was a little difficult to find but signs directing us to the spot helped. Near freeway entrance yet very quiet. We were happy with our choice and would stay again.
"Ok for one night"
It was a little hard to find because their sign was actually in front of another hotel. The two things I dislike the most was that I had to check out an iron, there was not one in the room and there was no decent restaurant nearby and the clerk could not give directions to anything but fast food.
