The Prince Park Tower Tokyo - Tokyo

This hotel doesn't look very pretty from the outside, but inside it's just lovely. We had spacious rooms with lovely views of the surrounding park, temple, and Tokyo Tower. All the greenery around the hotel was nice to come back to after a busy day sightseeing and you can take peaceful morning runs around the park. The staff are wonderful and there's […] a great bakery "Le Pain Quotidien" where you can get a very reasonably priced and delicious breakfast served by smiling and welcoming personnel. The hotel's breakfast was too expensive for us. It's easy to get to whereever you want to go as there are two subway lines nearby. We also took taxis sometimes. It's not so expensive and the taxi drivers were all polite and friendly. We went to the Tokyo Tower and it was better than we anticipated. There are wonderful panorama views of Tokyo from up there and we were lucky enough to be able to see the very impressive Mt. Fuji that day. There didn't seem to be other Western tourists at the hotel. It was full of Japanese businessmen and wedding guests. We didn't see many non-Japanese tourists in Tokyo either, which we thought was a pity. We had a wonderful time, saw lots of interesting places (for example, Museum of Contemporary Art, Odaiba, Ginza, Roppongi Hills, Shibuya - we have teenage children, Imperial Palace - book in advance on the internet to get a guided tour of the palace grounds). We spent 4 nights here in July 2010 and where very satisfied - our best stay in Tokyo. Or actually - our best stay at any hotel, I think. If you choose to stay here, you will get the best stay if you save some money for using the hotel services which we really enjoyed. The hotel has an excellent service level, and we give it our highest recommendation. […] Rooms are well equiped - the rooms at the upper floors can be recommended due to some noise from the highway. The house keeping is good, room service is fast responding, laundry service is smooth, spa services are efficient, 1st level café has excellent food and cookies as well as very polite service, the bakery shop is one of the few bakeries in Tokyo which actually make 'real' bread, sky restaurant has excellent food - but unfortunatelly a little poorer service than the rest of the hotel, but this is really minor issues, and is outweighted by the food and the great city view. I would definitely eat there again. Breakfast buffet is good - however show up early in the morning as it can have a long waiting queue (which apparently is not uncommon for good Japanese restaurants). Airport Limousine Bus will take you to the front door for 3.000 Yen per person. The neighbourhood doesn't offer much. But the hotel is close to two metro stations and a park. Also, if you stay here - we found a nice Thai Restaurant with cheap, high quality food just 5 min. walk from the hotel: Exiting from the front door turn left and continue straight ahead past the first traffic light, and the restaurant will turn up on your right hand. It can have a 15 min. waiting queue during peek periods, but it is worth the wait. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Læs mere

I have in more than 20 years travelled 100 days pr, year in Japan and it is definately the best I have tried, nice big rooms and a splendid breakfast buffet. Close to more train stations. Both good for business and holidys . Internet work perfect and fast.

Room for 3 inc 11 yr old child was large and very comfortable with a very nice bathroom. Hotel luxurious with very helpful staff and very nice, useful shop selling food, gifts and postcards. I can only repeat the superlatives that have been stated in many other reviews of this hotel. It is everything one expects from a quality hotel of its class. My one little quibble was that the carpets are either a bit worn or need a better cleaning job but perhaps this was due to the contrast with everything else in the room that looked completely new […] and unused - a testament to the excellent maintenance. I also had some question about the the non-smoking status of the room I was assigned, but this was quickly resolved by a room reassignment completely to my satisfaction. One of the other pluses for travelers arriving by air at Narita is the availability of the Airport Limousine bus service which takes you directly to the hotel for a very reasonable fare. This saves the hassle of figuring out train connections and transfers and is quick and pleasant. The location of the hotel in the middle of a park makes for pleasant surroundings and the subway station across the street is a great convenience for getting around Tokyo. It is certainly at the top of my hotel choices for my next visit to Tokyo. Læs mere

This is a high class hotel with luxurious rooms. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive. Location is good but not in the middle of things. Two subway stops to Roppongi.

The Prince Park Hotel is a beautiful hotel in a quiet business district. We had a room on the 27th floor with fabulous views of the city and Tokyo Tower. The hotel is chic, modern, with many restaurant choices although all very price-y. There is a nice hotel store with lots of food goodies to select from. The subway station is across the street making […] access very easy. The Tokyo Tower is a few minute walk and well worth the visit especially at night. My only complaint which is minor is the lack of restaurant options outside of the hotel but because the subway is so close by, we simply hopped on the train and saw other neighborhoods. Hotel was great generally, super convenient, and a beautiful location - right in shibakoen, next to two metro stops and the JR/monorail at hammamatsucho - few stops to roppongi, tsukiji, shibuya, ginza.... Cannot get more convenient. Hotel was clean and service was great. Even my view was nice. Only small complaint would be that for some strange reason […] body lotion was not one of the amenities in the room, and for some reason (but this is not particular to the hotel) they insisted on giving me two twin beds rather than a large bed even though I was a single traveler. The Prince could do with more reception staff (and with slightly better English), but other than that, the hotel cannot be faulted. Very clean and comfortable rooms and great views, especially if you are on the Tokyo Tower side. The little shop on the ground floor is very convenient, not least for the fresh bread baked daily. We were here with our children for three days first and came back from kyoto and stayed for another two days. Room was surprisingly very spacious. Being next to must-see Tokyo tower saved a few trips. The hotel restaurants are very expensive but there are enough convenient stores around - one in the hotel itself, that took care of a lot of eating and […] drinking issues ;-) There is a free shuttle bus from hotel to the nearby JR station every 30 minutes. We had JR Rail pass so it was convenient to travel all aound Tokyo including Disneyland. The staff were fantastic as you would generally find everywhere you go in Japan. Highly recommended. Læs mere

The hotel was nice and the room very spacious for a room in Tokyo. The sky bar and restaurant were great, they have an amazing view of the city and we were lucky to be there on a completely clear night. The location is very convenient to public transportation and some restaurants and cafes. My family like it very much, particular for the bath with massage. Convenient location and close to underground station. Walking distance to Tokyo Tower and quite environment. The only disappointment is that it needs to pay for using the swimming pool, but not mention in the hotel website.

We've got upgraded to a room that contains a bigger than king sized bed. V comfortable stay and had a v good rate from hotels.com. Like their greener cleaning option where you can opt out of room service for a day and the hotel will give you a 1000 yen voucher.

This hotel was actually a really nice surprise. Looking at it from the out outside, I definitely didn't expect much. Upon walking inside, I got greeted with the usual Japanese hospitality, but with an actual warm feeling, not like the robotic, "just doing their job routine" like I'm used to in Japan. After getting my room (stayed in a superior queen […] corner), I was shown up to my room, luggage in tote. The room was on the older side, but definitely, nice and clean. The closet was of good size, the restroom had a shower and separate tub, along side an awesome heated seat toilet!! I'm telling you, I didn't think much about this until I first used it, one word - AWESOME! The bed was really comfortable, and the sitting area roomy. The cleaning staff was awesome. There's only one person that cleans your room, ALWAYS, and their name is on a card next to you on the nightstand. Usually, I dump the useless decor pillows and the end bed cover thing, in the closet, but every time I did, it was back on the bed after they cleaned the room. It was as though they wanted the room perfect every time you came back. Room was always cleaned, without a hitch. Internet is free but only a LAN plug in, no WiFi, but it's free! Internet speed is decent for a hotel, but not fast compared to what Japan is using. All in all, a great place to stay that I would be more than happy to come back and stay in. Læs mere

Not speaking japanese they have a great and helpful consierge area that will help you with anything from ordering train tickets to booking restaurants. This is my second time at this hotel, and it is really great!

nice and clean if hotel would like to provide more shuttle service. it will be perfect, especialy during the winter and summer time.

Stayed just 2 nights in November. Beautiful hotel, exceptional staff. My only complaint would be that it's impossible to find reasonably priced food anywhere near the hotel. All of the restaurants in the hotel are extremely expensive, and since it's in the park, it's not exactly located in the middle of many other spots to eat.

Just an excellent hotel, only breakfast expensive although view during breakfast is fantastic.

Great hotel and my room had a view like a movie! The hotel staff were great and everything was well organised.

We, as in a 4-membered Finnish family, stayed in The Prince Park Tower Tokyo Hotel for one week at the end of year 2011. Our two rooms, the Premium Jr. Suite Comfort Room and the Premium Double Room were both located on the 29th floor. We warmly suggest booking a Premium Floor room when staying in this hotel. The price difference to the lower standard […] rooms is not that big, and the benefits are wonderful. We were extremely satisfied with the service we received for being in the premium side. One of the most profitable plusses is that when staying in the Premium Floor, you get the access to the Premium Lounge. Our family had many lovely moments there. It's open for most of the day, and it was a great place to just relax and have a little snack and/or drink. Also the breakfast was served in the lounge, and it was a huge joy to be able to enjoy the serene surroundings and to watch the Tokyo Tower from the lounges' windows. Læs mere

This hotel has everything, like a small city. Various really good restaurants, very nice spacious and well appointed rooms. The pool and spa area is exceptionally and the staff is always very nice. I had an overnight in Tokyo and this hotel was perfect. Didn't have the room I reserved available, so I gave me a suite upgrade on an upper floor. Service was very welcoming.

Wonderful Hotel - I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Tokyo. Everything is new and clean. The room was really large and comfortable; probably the best value for the money of any hotel I have stayed in for the past 4 years (and I stay in a lot of hotels). The daily rate at this 5 star hotel was a bargain that included full breakfast for two, use of exec suite with its free cocktails and snacks, workout room, bowling, and parking in addition to unlimited free internet use. Service and friendliness of the staff could not have been better. I don't know of a better value at any other hotel in the world. Spectacular hotel at a GREAT rate. There are several Tokyo Metro stations close by, and a beautiful park and Temple grounds near the hotel. One caution -- there is another Prince Park Hotel near the Tokyo Tower, but this is the Prince Park TOWER hotel. besides of hotel location...room deco was not that great ..if we got the special deal rate from hotels.com at 50% discount of the hotel regular rate .. we will consider to stay at this hotel again.

This room was very affordable in this very expensive city! Ask to be on the side of the hotel with a view of the city/Toko Tower - simply breathtaking. The hotel was fabulous, the room was exceptionally clean with all the ammenities you would expect, and more. I was a bit skeptical when I booked this hotel because the price was roughly half of what nearby hotels were charging. Much to my surprise, however, this was a really nice place to stay. I was most impressed when my checkin bellwoman spoke perfect American English. She had lived in the US for years and it was a nice touch to speak with someone in English […] at full-speed and vocabulary. The room was standard for a 4 star hotel in Tokyo, but the internet was free (which is unusual). The hotel is right across the street from a small subway station that can take to either to Roppongi (2 stops) or out to Yamanote ring line. In addition they have a program called 'green cleaning'. If you forgo your room cleaning for a day they give you a 1000 yen coupon to the store in the lobby. It has a great selection of food and drink, nice souvenirs and some simple office supplies, post cards, etc. If you're like me and don't need your room cleaned every day, this is a nice perk. Nice place to stay.

There are several things that make the Prince Park Tower a great choice. The room sizes are great for Japan and the bathrooms are great. The position which is right on the edge of Shiba Park means it is very quiet and away from the madness of some parts of Tokyo. There are two metro stations within 5 minutes walk and another two within 15 minutes which […] makes getting about Tokyo easy. The down side is the lack of decent places nearby to eat at night.
