Travel Inn - Rutland

Det ligger langt under den standard, der burde forventes af Hotel.com. Fik tilbudt to forskellige værelser. Det ene manglede lys, det andet var meget fugtigt og lugtede grimt. Ingen vinduer i værelserne eller anden form for udluftning. Kunne ikke give os den ellers tilbudte wireless internet. Vi valgte at forlade stedet

Great for young ppl that want to save $$. Its a place to relax, sleep, shower. Not for kids/family/ or babies

This place was a last minute stay for us - and will not happen again! The place was not only old but extremely DIRTY! The old wouldn't have bothered me as much if it were clean! I literally went to the Big Lots down the road and picked up some sheets and a blanket to put over the ones they had, VERY DIRTY! Ha, never staying there again!

The worst hotel I have booked in my entire life,given that i hail from India and have seen and heard some shabby hotels.I did not read the review since i booked it pretty late in the week.They have a standard response as somebody wrote in the review - This is the last room we have while displaying the Vacancy board prominently. When we checked in and […] got out of the reception area,were alarmed to see 4 cops rushing into the hotel.It turned out that some person staying in the hotel attacked his wife and she had called the cops.Nice way to tell us what kind of people are staying the hotel ! I booked a non smoking room and when i opened the room was greeted with a room full of smoke.The Cots are so shabby so are the bed sheets and the curtain.The cots were broken,the toilets were so bad,you won't think about entering there.I have attached photos to support what I have written. No wireless internet , building is in poor shape , and on a positive note the people were very helpful .

The room was supposed to have a refrigerator and a clock-radio and had neither. It had 3 chairs, all of which were filthy. The bathtub had a lot of cracks in it. I guess the room lived up(down?) to its 1 1/2 star rating. .

no rest if you want to sleep, walls are very thin- room was so smokey you could not breath.

We chose to not stay once we entered the room. The request was for a non-smoking room. The hotel management gave us the last one available which was a smoking room. No other accomodations were offered, so we departed. Website personnel were awesome in helping us to reclaim our money. I will use the website again, but will not stay at Travel Inn, Ru […] tland. thought this place was gonna be a lot nicer. now, keep in mind it was the cheapest option at the moment in rutland, but still, i expected the floor to be clean, and the bedding to be changed. but...it wasn't. shower was hot, though, and there was no noise to wake me up during the night. overall, i would ONLY recommend if you need a cheap place to stay […] in VT to ski the weekend, and of course, everywhere else is booked. room stunk like cigarettes, beddings were not clean, or changed while i was there. outer door did not close properly either. not terrible, but definitely not good either. This hotel was very old and run down. The rug, walls and shower curtain were very dirty. There was no internet access and only coffee, juice and glazed donuts for breakfast. The managers were very friendly and helpful, however, given the condition of the hotel we would not stay here again. Disgusting! It was nothing like the pictures. I was embarrased that i even pulled into the lot.

hotel was OK. No great shakes but inexpensive and nothing terribly wrong unless you are super picky.
