International Garden Hotel Narita - Narita

Very pleased with this hotel, we used it for a 1 day transit stay, coming from Hawaii and going to Copenhagen. Shuttle bus picked us up at airport, though the shuttle only leaves once pr hour at times. You use bus stop number 16 at Narita Airport. The room we got was roomy and had a/c, and lots of amenities, 3 big bottles with tap, one with shampoo, […] conditioner and body wash, never seen that before, but a nice change from the tiny bottles you usually see. There is a restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you get a big discount when staying at hotel. Hotel also has shuttle to near by shopping mall called AEON NARITA SHOPPING CENTER, which is a good place to spend some time, has lots of shops, restaurant and other things. When we wanted to go to the shopping center, the shuttle bus was already full, but our hotel paid for taxi to shopping center, a very nice touch, would recommend this hotel to anyone I knew, that would have a layover in Narita. It was great only being 25minutes from the airport with an 8pm arrival and not having to get to a hotel in Tokyo at that time. Had time next morning following the buffet breakfast to walk 20 minutes to the temple and gardens that were worth a visit. Free shuttle both ways is very handy.

A disappointing stay with no wifi available to connect with the Internet for our 3 day stay. It had been out for a week and was still not fixed when we left. There was no English Channel on tv and with no Internet we were cut off for our stay. 20 min ride from airport which is far compared to other hotels but not a bit issue since hotel shuttle bus is direct and free. Hotel a little out dated but spacious and clean room which is all you need from an overnight stay. Not much in surrounding area but excellent buffet breakfast.

So I missed my flight and this is the last thing I wanted to do when I was planning to be home already. The hotel isn't exactly close if you leave from the local JR rail line. This was a great overnight stop between our long flight and the rest of our Japan holiday. The room was very clean, beds comfortable and generally the hotel was very nice! We especially enjoyed having a couple of English channels on the tv to watch until we fell asleep, as there really isn't too much to do nearby.

It's a decent hotel. No wifi in room only in lobby. Airport shuttle starts from Airport then stops at Hilton hotel Narita port hotel & finally at Garden hotel. It's an old hotel, doesn't worth the money. you got pay extra money if you want wifi in the room, and even extra charge for English Channels on the TV. food is expensive, and taste really bad. But over all it is clean, if you only looking for a place to sleep, it is the right place. Don't expect any thing else

For the price, you get a big bed, tv with English drama and movie channels (they show dated stuff but I don't expect much), paytv (ahem) if you so desire. If you don't want to pay for 24hr wifi convenience in your room, you can enjoy free wifi in the lounge with plenty of seats and tables which are great for small group chats. There is a souvenir/food […] shop in the lobby and I believe the price of food (or at least the beer) is same as the 24hr minimart right outside the hotel. Room was spacious and has everything you need for a comfortable night. Shuttles runs to airport or narita station, more info is readily available on their website (such as direct to airport shuttle on first few morning buses, etc) Staff was experienced and helpful as he inquired about my purpose of stay (a night stay before my flight back home) and advised according. He advised me on shuttle timings according of my departure time, along with the breakfast timing of the hotel restaurant. Buffet breakfast was good, not much western variability but you can experience Japanese breakfast or fruits and salads. Worthwhile for it's price when you book it with your room. 2nd time staying at this hotel. Great place with free shuttle buses to the Keisei and JR Train lines as well as the Narita airport and the local shopping centre. This was the finishing up point for my Japan trip and I spent a week exploring the local area. Tokyo and Chiba aren't too far away and it's nice and close to Sawara which is a fantastic place […] to visit. One place you must visit is the Naritasan Shinshoji Temple which is nice walk from the hotel (or JR station). It's a large popular Buddhist temple complex with a few places like the Great Pagoda of Peace and a fantastic park to explore. Plenty of space in my room to move about (it was the largest room I had on my trip) and the staff speak excellent english. There's a small store inside the hotel which is handy for last minute gifts and snacks. There's also a corner store directly in front of the hotel as well. The 7/11 is also close (2-3 min walk) if you need to use the ATM (Mastercard etc). The restaurant is nice and the range of food is delicious. It can get a little pricey but there are plenty of other restaurants nearby as well. Some of the places also had English menus available too. The one downside for me was the pricey internet access in the rooms. They do have free wifi in the lobby though but the hours its available seemed limited. Læs mere

the restaurant in the hotel closed at 9:30 pm, better eat your dinner at the airport if you arrived in the late evening. The rooms are old, the chairs in both of our two rooms one is stained and one is burnt with a hole. wifi is at the lobby only. This was a simple, no-frills hotel near the airport that was a good choice for my overnight stay. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. No complaints at all except the fitness room smelled like very stale sweat. The carpet needs either replacement or a major cleaning.

It was great to get to this motel after travelling for 12 plus hours as they were very efficient and we were settled into our room very quickly. Helpful, courteous staff and room service was efficient and the food was very tasty. Shuttle bus to the airport in the morning was very quick & efficient.

I am from Australia. I found the hotel great for a transit stop over in Japan. The hotel has a linking bus service that transports to and from the airport terminal 1 and 2 easily. Meals in the hotel restaurant were very costly, and this was a bit of a shock. The meal was of a small proportion, insufficient for growing teenagers. As this visit was […] less then 24 hours there was limited time to sight see. There was a mini store just in front of the hotel, but closed at 10pm. The hotel does have a very beautiful garden and parts of the hotel look onto to a hill of trees. I did enjoy the view of garden and trees. I would return to the hotel in the future if again I was in need of a transit airport hotel. If you desire to see the city of Tokyo, travel time from the hotel is over 1 and half hours to Tokyo. The price is right ... shuttle buses to/from Narita Airport, Narita Station (town) and AEON Mall run frequently. In addition to Avanti restaurant inside the hotel, there is a convenience store within minutes, as well as several eating establishments a strall away. Wireless internet in the lobby is free!

Very pleasant stay. Room was clean and of reasonable size by Tokyo standards. Hotel shuttles to/from Narita airport were convenient and right on time. This place is fine for a night before flying and the transfer service was very efficient. I am not a picky traveller and generally stay in budget hotels and take what I get without complaint. The staff here is the best I've seen in 99% of places. They are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We were coming through during halloween and could not have made it to Tokyo without their help. I will stay here every time I transit through Narita. The location is convenient and the free shuttle to the city is such a blessing.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful.The courtesy coach provides a 'taxi service' from the airport and the railway station at Narita. It also took guests to an out-of-town shopping mall, and provided regular links to the nearby town of Narita. Power system to room a little different. Takes some time to figure out how to keep the lights on. If you remove the key card from the power pocket, you can't do anything in the room. The room was very clean and had many of the amenities that we find in American hotels

This hotel is relatively close to the Narita airport, and has a free shuttle service to transport you to and from the airport. Rooms are large by Japanese standards (though not by American standards). No free wifi in rooms, but there is a nice lounge area near the elevators where you can access free wifi.

This was my 5 stay at this hotel in as many years. Each time in a standard configured room bed for two. On this stay I paid for two adults but was given a room for singles, one side of the bed flushed against the wall; had to slide off the bottom of the bed to exit, The carpet had several stains, The TV table fixed at opposite side of the bed. We missed our 7pm flight and quickly found this hotel. The free shuttle was great, easy to find and on time. We settled in to our room easily and slept well.
