Fantastisk sted, ud over vores forventninger. Fuld udstyret køkken med alt man kan ønske sig, selv væskemaskine og tørretumbler. Stor altan med have møbler, strandstole,osv, Meget rent og velholdt. Stille og rolig omgivelser og tæt på strand. Dog er det næsten en must at have en bil, for at komme rund og på indkøb osv.

Lækkert strand hotel, beliggende på et af de bedste steder på Maui. Her bliver i budt velkommen med en Flower-lei (krans) ved in-checking og imødekommende personale. Her er kæmpe udendørs badeland, med bl.a vandfald, bassiner i forskellige vanddybde, mange vand rutsjebaner, VERDENS ENESTE VAND ELEVATOR, pool bar, hvor man både kan bestille lette anretninger og sodavands drinks serveret i annanas "glas", der er en "baby" strand og adgang lige ned til stranden OG MEGET MEGET ANDET. Maden og deres LUAU, er også lækkert og god underholdning, med klassiske polynisiske danse og historie. Restaurenterne har flotte buffeter og værelserne er flotte. Vi nød vores ophold. Vi var 2 voksne og 4 børn afsted og fik en fantastisk oplevelse. Iøvrigt bor man centralt og med et godt udgangspunkt for udflugter rundt på øen.

"Old and run-down bed, great location"
Lahaina Inn is well located in Lahaina. The price for a night is okay for the city and Maui in general. However, it is very hard to encounter any employee, be it a receptionist or the cleaning lady. The location is great, which is in the center of Lahaina. The rooms are on the small side, but you can't beat the price for the locaton. Plus, who stays in their rooms anyways when you have Front Street just a half a block away. I will stay again.

If you like night life and no need to rent a car...this is the place. Highly recommend the Lahaina Grill downstairs and the Gelato next door...they have the best coffe on Maui, as well. Hotel was centrally located but quiet; loys of ambience and romance. Book a ocean view for sure or you will be overlooking a parking lot!

This quaint inn is a terrific location for shopping, dining, & walking historical sites. Rooms are small but you won't spend much time there anyway. No ice, room service, etc but great parking once you figure out which spots the hotel has. Staff was very friendly. Good rate.

Small hotel with no full time desk staff. Room was small, one chair, no table, room was not larg enough to have these things. When the day clerk arrived, he was very friendly and helpful. Location is superb. No view. Clean and comfortable for a short stay. Inexpensive and a good value.

Unless you absolutely have to be within walking distance of downtown Lahaina, I would recommend you stay elsewhere. I rented an oceanside room which allowed me to see a tiny bit of the bay if I was standing on the balcony. If you sat in the rocking chair, all you see is the railing and the balcony next door. Your main view is the street. Rooms on the […] back side face a parking lot. The room has few amenities. There is no coffeemaker, miniscule soap, thin towels,and sheets so thin you can see the striped mattress. The bed is a small full size bed...I'm only 5'4" and my toes hung over. The front desk is only open sporadically and the young man who checked me in was surly. When I asked about a map of the area, he told me they had no maps. You pay extra for parking ($15) and internet on top of a pretty stiff price for the room. I've stayed in historic inns before, but they were charmingly maintained. The bathroom sink had a large crack in the bottom; the tile in the bathroom was chipped and dirty; along the entry wall was an ugly metal cover that was only partially painted and rusting. "LAHAINA INN......WHO NEEDS A RENTAL CAR?"
I am so delighted with this hotel. It is in the center of Historic Lahaina town. Beautiful ocean view, sitting in the rocking chairs on the balcony, sipping on a Corona.......that is the beginning of a Fantastic vacation. One of the best kept secrets in Maui.

We booked for the location, and loved the hotel! Much quieter than anticipated, lovely furnishings, fantastic lanai to see all the action and the ocean! The staff was very helpful. Only recommendation for the hotel: an iron and a mini fridge would go a long way!!

The Lahainaluna suite is located on top of the kitchen for the Lahaina Grill. If you like to wake up to the sound of the stereo in the kitchen at 4am and listen to it until 11pm this is the place for you. The hotel has great character and the location is great. BUT if you are looking for a quiet place to sleep...this is not the hotel for you. The garbage truck woke me up every morning at 6 am.

Our only complaint is the size of the room. Beds are tough for two adults to get comfortable. Kinda noisy at night. Had to have security come and let us in when we arrived after 7pm.. No inn keeper around!

So If you are looking for a quick stay for maybe a night then the price is right.. However if you like to sleep on vacation then you're in for a surprise.. I stayed 3 nights and every morning was a disaster.. 5:45 in the morning the delivery trucks, and the garbage trucks come rolling in. Not passing through, but noise for hours. The hotel was fine. My room had a nice balcony from which you could see the ocean, but it smelled a little musty probably because of the air-conditioning being turned on and off. Excellent downtown location, 1/2 block from Front Street. No parking on site, $10 per day to park a block away. Charming 1938 Hotel, expected to see Bogart telling Sam to "Play it Again" any moment. "BEST Location, nothing else matters"
We were a little hesitant based on the pictures but the reviews said the location was great. They weren't kidding. This ended up being one of our favorite hotels and we definitely recommend the Makai Suite if you can get it. It's right on the end so one night we just sat out there with a bottle of wine, listening to the live music from Cheeseburgers […] in Paradise and looking out over the water. It was a 1 minute walk to restaurants, shops, waterfront - just perfect and Lahaina was great that way. Wailea was nice but very resort area where you don't walk to much. The best shaved ice was Hawaiian Shaved Ice (2 locations on front street and 1 near the airport) and a great place to watch a game or just hang out is Mcgillicuttys they also have great breakfast. Hotel is in an awesome location. The only thing is if you check in after 9pm you need to call someone to open the hotel lobby and get your keys. On the plus side it took only 12 minutes for an employee to get there. Nice place to stay.
