Overall the 4 night stay was great. I suspect that they are short on some staff for busy weekends. On Saturday, the room did not get cleaned. Hotel seemed fairly new...about a 15 minute ride into New Orleans. Priced high, but everything in new orleans is high. Continental breakfast was actually very good. Hopefully, management will keep the hotel nice as it ages.

The agent I used told me this hotel was located 3 miles from NO aquarium. try 40 miles back towards ms. We got checked in at 3:30 and by the time we made it to the pull at 4:00, we were approached and were told it was being closed for the day. WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE ROOM ....15 min drive to down town took us 1 1/2 hours to find parking but it was spring break better to take a cab.

Hotel was very nice and clean . Will tell friends to try it out. A plus !

I rated this hotel as a "5" all the way! Clean, safe area, breakfast buffet, great efficient staff! If your looking for somewhere to stay around New Orleans this hotel is for you! The hotel is just a few miles out of town but easy to get to from I-10.

Stayed here for new year's! Felt safe, rooms were clean and staff was great!

Christine at the front desk was especially helpful. She was able to address our needs right away.

My husband and I enjoyed the hotel tremendously. The neighborhood is nothing big but we were sure it was before Katrina. The hotel is renovated and nice. The room was a little small for being a King Executive but it was fine for our purposes. It was very clean when we got there. The hotel is right off the interstate and clean and comfortable. But the hotel directly behind the Holiday Inn was no longer in use, it was closed and run down. The pool is basically a large bathtub and it's a good 15 minute drive to the French Quarter.

Completely renovated rooms and lobby areas. Bathrooms have granite, rooms and halls have new carpet. Wifi worked great. Breakfast included eggs, bacon, sausage, ham plus the usual assortment of breads, cereals and juices. Hotel was clean, room updated nicely. Only downside was uncomfortable bed, pretty lumpy and old. Happy with stay otherwise.

My husband and I took our three little boys to New Orleans for an overnight trip to go to a football game and see the French Quarter. We wanted a hotel that kind of cool and different,but with the three kids(ages 4,5& 6) that just wasn't in the cards, so we settled for something more realistic and this is what we found. No great bells and whistles, and a little bit of remodeling going on, but it was about what you expect from a Holiday Inn or similar level hotel. The bathtub and the pool were both on the small side, but the bathroom counters were granite, the room was clean and the staff and other guests were very pleasant. And there were nice down-type comforters on the bed instead of those horrible itchy bedspreads you see a lot in hotels. The free breakfast, was better than many I have had. Oatmeal, Bananas, Yogurt, 3 or 4 different kinds of milk, 4 kids of juices, tea, coffee, pancakes, waffles, biscuits, scrambled eggs etc. When we showed up it was about 20 minutes before breakfast ended and there was still plenty of good warm food. About 10-15 minutes from the Super-dome, easy drive on I-10. While it certainly wasn't a 4 star hotel, it was a nice, comfortable stay and I have no complaints. I enjoyed the pool area. I had it all to myself. There were a few minor renovations going on but they did not interrupt our vacation. I would recommend this property b/c the drive time to the main attractions was very reasonable. The front desk was always pleasant.

If you don't feel like spending alot of money on hotel and fee's from hotels located near French Quarter , I would recommend this hotel! Renovated room was well kept and staff was very professional and friendly. Bath room was fairly large with a 32 inch Samsung flat screen tv. This hotel is located about 14 miles from French Quarter.

Very nice desk personnel. Easy on and off interstate. Nice breakfast. Nice rooms. Clean. Update remodeling is going on.

IT TOOK OVER 30 MINUTES TO CHECK IN - THERE WAS A LADY AT THE FRONT WHO KEPT ACTING GOOFY AND SAYING - "I DON'T WORK UP HERE - I'M IN SALES" - BET SHE DOSENT SELL MUCH. - THEN THE SMELL FROM "UPGRADING" WAS TERRIBLE FOR ANYONE WITH ALLERGIES. CONVENIENCE - OK - WE WERE THERE FOR A CONCERT AN IT WAS CLOSE. I WILL NOT BE BACK. SORRY.

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel; the young lady that checked me in was extremely nice in meeting all of my requests. We were glad to find the room at such a bargain during the music festival; thanks to hotel.com for the posting; the room was very clean & comfy. Expensive cab ride from downtown but with a festival in New Orleans that weekend, it was a reasonable rate and very good accommodations. Staff was helpful and friendly and room was clean and newly remodeled. Wifi was available which is a must for me. And it was free.

I enjoyed my short stay which included breakfast. The executive king room was spacious, clean, the king bed was comfortable and the overnight stay was quiet. The location was convenient for my visit, close to family and 1 block off of interstate I-10. I would stay at this hotel again.

Not a lot in the neighborhood in terms of food...very desolate area... 30 minutes from airport. 30 minutes to downtown NO. Did have a lot of parking and a fairly good breakfast. Really nice people at the front desk.

Was very happy with our stay. Room was larger than expected. Went during Mardi Gras and the location was great. It was about 10 - 15 minutes away from downtown - just far enough to be able to sleep at night without all the noise. Would definately stay again.

The hotel was just what we needed as we were going to a conference in NOLA. It was clean and not too far of a drive into the city.

Ein großes Lob gilt der Rezeptionistin, die uns eincheckte. Sie hatte uns freundlicherweise eine Suite gegeben, da das Doppelzimmer, was ich gebucht hatte (für 5 Personen unter Angabe des Alters der Kinder!!) keinen Platz für ein Zustellbett bot. Das Zimmer selber war sehr schön und auch sauber, allerdings wiesen 2 der 3 Laken unangenehme alte Blutflecken […] aus. Das war ekelig. Das Frühstück war gut. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in N.O. würde ich auf jeden Fall ein Hotel im French Quarter wählen und tiefer in die Tasche greifen. Læs mere
