Luzmar Villas - Algarve

We just spent a week in the Algarve at Luzmar Villas. We arrived to be pleasantly surprised that the hotel in real life was even better than the photos on the web site. The staff was really sweet and helpful with any question one might have had. The staff was very open and service minded, making the stay very comfortable. We can recommend getting a […] room with ocean view - which was amazing! There is a large breakfast buffet with a large selection, and very delicious. In Sept 2012 the guests were mainly German. Everything was spotless. The staff were friendly and efficient. Large well appointed rooms with balcony. It was very quiet especially during the day. Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are spacious and bed very comfortable. The whole hotel is spotless. A car is needed as it's quite a long walk to town. Breakfast was very good.

Beautiful gardens an excellent pool views from every room. Staff were extremely helpful polite and professional. The owner will do everything he can to make your stay comfortable and relaxing.

This is our 3rd visit to Luzmar Villas as the hotel is in a very quiet and attractive location, half way between Luz and Burgau, which are both lovely little resorts. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is very attractive with immaculately kept grounds and pool. Our rooms have always been very spacious with a good size balcony, smart furniture […] and this time we had a huge king-sized bed and a new flat-screen TV. Towels were changed every day. The one fault was that the bathrooms have never been up-dated and could do with proper showers. (There's just a bath with a shower head that's seen better days attached to the taps). No kettle is provided so this time we actually took a travel kettle with adaptor and some mugs. There's a pretty good variety of food for breakfast and you can eat and drink all you want. The only complaint is that the juices on offer all seem to be more like squash than fresh fruit juice but the coffee is good. There's a variety of teas but not Engish type tea. One little gripe is that we booked the hotel through expedia and for the first time we were asked to pay extra for parking ! You do need a car in this location and it would be impossible to park outside the hotel on the country road. Apart from this, everything was great and we'd definitely go again as we like the algarve, especially the western end. Læs mere

Incredible ocean view from our balcony. Sweet hosts. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Well-kept garden and pool area. Quiet neighborhood. Delicious breakfast came with our room price, and the dinner buffet at their restaurant was a great value too.

We had a great time here. The staff were friendly, the food was great. The only thing is that the pool was really cold! Lots to do near by, but rent a car, just don't go with Budget they were pretty poor.

This hotel is excellent value with reasonable room rates and conveniently located. The staff are excellent and the service also. The beds in the rooms, however, are very hard and rather uncomfortable. The breakfast is very good and the only suggestion I would make is for the dinner options to include an a la carte menu as well as the buffet. Just stayed here for four days and were very impressed. Clientele is mainly German with a few Brits. Mainly an older crowd than us (we are in our mid thirties). The rooms were spacious along with the balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. Breakfast was continental style but very well presented with at least 4 different fresh breads daily. My wife and I went on a spontaneous holiday in May / June 2011 and Luzmar Villas was a great place to stay. It is away from the main towns, a short drive from Luz but if you have a car you can explore the Algarve with ease. A relaxed environment away from the crowds, good food and great pool. Would go back for sure.

A peaceful location, a 20 minute walk from Luz beach. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent, lots of choice. I would highly recommend Luzmar Villas.

Very nice hotel in pleasant surroundings. Staff friendly. Would say this is a family friendly hotel. If you're looking for varied and loud nightlife this is not the place for you. Car recomended.

Hotel was relaxing, clean, very spacious rooms, with medium fridge for water/drinks/snacks - very good idea as nothing walking distance away. Luz 20 minutes walk away and Burgau 30-40 minutes. LOVELY large clean pool but not enough sun umbrellas for all the customers. It was a nice place to stay for a few days but I would not want to be there longer […] than 4 to 5 days; NO Direct sea-views from most rooms, only from main reception area/ dining rooms and probably rooms above these. Great idea was having a card for the Bar where purchases are written down so you keep track of spending but unfortunately Bar/cafeteria/lunch restaurant -area was never staffed and had to go looking for staff to serve us a coffee or drink (so eventually did not bother) Læs mere

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb. Die Zimmer sind super, das Personal freundlich und die Anlage wirklich schön. Jedes Zimmer hat einen riesigen Balkon. Man fährt sehr leicht am Hotel vorbei, es kann dauern bis man die Einfahrt gefunden hat. Ausschau halten nach einer pinken mit Steinen besetzen Mauer. Un hõtel familial où tout est parfaitement agencé pour un séjour agréable et calme. L'accueil est chaleureux, l'hôtel est merveilleusement situé, ni trop près ni trop loin de la mer avec une vue magnifique sur celle-ci. Les chambres sont très propres, confortables et le rapport qualité/prix est imbattable.
