La Quinta Inn Vancouver Airport - Richmond

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

you get what you pay for, one thing I was not happy with the cleaning lady come to clean so early in the morning , she just knock and open the door rightaway, and there was a bad goose attacked people when you walk on the road...please call the animal control come catch it...

Great value for the location with breakfast which included making your own hot waffles! There is a small fitness center, indoor pool and jacuzzi great for kids and families plus free internet.

Only complaint was lack of hot coffee at breakfast - had to ask several times to have pot refilled. Employees very kind and helpful.

I really liked the hotel. It is probably about time to update the bedding in the room I stayed in. It was clean, just seen better days. The staff was very friendly and found the hotel had more to offer than I noticed on the listing.

Close to YVR. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend for a very affordable stay! Nice breakfast (med. quality) with more choices than I expected!

This hotel was far more expensive than other LaQuintas and wasn't as close to the airport as it sounds, it's actually in Richmond. There was NO FREE SHUTTLE when my plane arrived and it was an expensive taxi ride, so make sure if you're expecting the free shuttle that it is running and you might have to book it 24 hours in advance. Also the 'free' internet […] in my room didn't work and they wanted me to bring my computer down to them to show me how to connect... it wasn't that i didn't know how, the thing was saying, "intitiating" over and over again for over 10 minutes before i even called down to the desk. It was late and i was in my PJ's, at least send someone to my room instead of telling me to bring my computer down! Two of the reasons i chose this hotel, the free airport shuttle and the free internet to get some work done in my room, didn't happen! The vending machine didn't work either! At least they sold bottled water at the front desk. They only offer shampoo in the rooms now, no conditioner so be prepared for that cut as well. Also it was chilly and there was hardly anything you could call a blanket on the bed, so i had to turn the heat on which dried out the room. Otherwise, ok it was clean, thank you for that! Læs mere

It is very clean and the service was great, I would recommend. Our stay was great and they are pet friendly and don't charge extra.

Moldy buildup in the shower and hair hanging from the hair dryer.

All things considered it was a pleasant experience staying at La Quinta and I would stay there again.

This was my second stay at this hotel and I'll be back again. It is clean, comfortable, has all the amenities I want and is very reasonably priced. Was upset that front desk mistankinly called my room at 2:30am for wake up service meaning to call room next to me. At 5 am the room next to me alarm clock went off for over 40 mns. I called front desk to have someone call amd ask to turn off. When no one answered I called back again to have someone go check for themselves and knock and if no one answered […] to turn it off; she said they can not do that. So I had no sleep at all that night and no discount etc. I had to travel all day without a good nights sleep. Dissappointed. Læs mere

This is the second time we have stayed at this La Quinta and will be back again. Very helpful staff. Within walking distance of several shopping malls the largest being the Richmond Centre. The only downside to the room we stayed in "211" was a constant humming motor sound from below on the first floor? Great breakfast selections as well.

Great little hotel with good breakfast. Heating unit in room very,very noisy.Also in very good location.

Nice quiet hotel near airport but surrounded by great restaurants. Shuttle to airport was quick and flexible. Good sized rooms with basic amenities. Easy car access to Vancouver without being in the city. I'll stay there again on my next visit.

Don't be fooled by the 2* rating of this hotel. It's a very nice new, super clean and pleasant property. The reception personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. Spacious room, generous sized bathroom, free wi-fi, newspaper in the morning and delicious breakfast - more than you could expect for your money. I've stayed at this hotel a few times and have kept coming back. The rooms are large and clean, the breakfast is good (although sometimes crowded), the staff are very nice, the location is convenient for my purposes and I have never had issues with noise. The only issue I have had is with the wifi - the last time I stayed I noticed it was unusually […] slow, and this stay it was pretty much unusable. The wired connection provided was just as bad, even though I was staying in an "executive" room. I would recommend this hotel highly if you don't need reliable internet access, but if you do it could be a big problem. Læs mere

A very basic hotel, close to the airport with a shuttle service. That is what I used it for! Great hotel for one night stopover, close to airport and ferry. Room clean & comfortable Staff very helpful in arranging transport for us. Breakfast a bit of a bun fight due to other guests stockpiling food!!(how it appeared anyway).

I stay at the La Quinta commuting from my way back and forth to work. It is close to the airport, in a convenient location and is clean and comfortable. There is lots of good quality, reasonably priced ethnic restaurants in the area and is close to Landsdowne Mall.

We are from the US,, so we have the data coverage on our phone turned off, with only a rough map and a description of how to get the hotel. it was REALLY hard to find, and we ended up driving in circles for a long time. if you stay there for sure you have a GPS on to get there, or have very good directions. When I went to put my daughter to bed, I noticed dirt on the blanket (sheets appeared clean but very wrinkled which made me worry). If not for the bedding, I would say that the staff were very helpful and respectful, the pool was decent and the hot tub was a nice treat (even if it wasn't very hot). This Hotel is close to the Airport and has a free shuttle. The complimentry breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable and quite.

Clean, well maintained. The airport shuttle is free, got me there on time and the driver was sane and didn't do any "creative" driving like shuttle drivers sometimes do. Only issue I had (and it was not a big deal) was that the front desk told me the wrong room number a couple of times so I had to take a few trips up and down the elevator before I could […] get into my room. Clean, comfortable, conveniently located in the vicinity of the airport. The complementary breakfast was a little limited, but adequate. Good value for the price.

Rooms are very clean and spacious. Great bathrooms too. Excellent internet service, the pool is right near the lobby and the building is new and solid. The rooms are quiet too, if your neighbors are. Only the front desk crew seemed a bit inept, they kept me waiting for quite a while on check-in, and gave me a dead room key which they promptly replaced […] with another dead one. Glad I had two! Didn't have breakfast but the coffee was good. Vans that also looked new were shuttling people from the airport all night so that service appeared to be working well. Outstanding food nearby, which is a good thing, since there isn't any onsite. Overall I'd stay there again in a heartbeat, considering the price! Great value for a moderately high-end hotel. Læs mere
