I was very pleased with my stay. The customer service was awesome and the hotel was emasculate. It was in a perfect spot to where I could get great food as well as good shopping, plus close to the interstate. "Nice hotel"
Was a very nice hotel and got a great deal on the room too. It was very clean. It was nice to actually have a hot continental breakfast for a change. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, oatmeal, potatoes, biscuits and a waffle maker to go along with the normal pastries, cereal, and yogurt. I didn't check out the pool or fitness center, so I can't comment […] on those. "Southern hospitality, at it's best!"
The staff at this hotel was top-notch! We had an issue with our baggage from the airport, and they were so supportive, friendly and accommodating. I love the "southern hospitality" that we received from this team, also. We will be traveling to this city often in the next two years, as my brother-in-law was recently posted at the military facility there, […] and this will certainly be our preferred hotel from now on. "The Hotel in Oxford, Alabama"
A wonderful experience! The only problem that we had was a slightly noisy refrigerator due to uneven legs on the refrigerator, but we did not report the problem, as it was minor. Hotel staff were very friendly. The place was super clean and quiet, even though it was booked nearly full. Also, quite unexpectedly, the internet service was the best I've had in a hotel. Easy to login and use and nearly as quick as the service I have at home (I have a top tier speed package from my service provider). I was staying here overnight […] so I could make it to Talledega Gran Prix Racetrack early in the morning for a track day. I'll certainly be staying here again for that purpose. Really enjoyed my stay. Rooms very comfortable, clean, nice. Location perfect for dining and shopping. The only thing I didn't like was the hot breakfast. Needed meat on the menu separate from eggs. I was so impressed with our service and our room, I couldn't wait until I could write a review and rave about it. We requested a room with a sofa sleeper and when it wasn't to our liking, the staff quickly brought up a fold-a-way. I have a very tall son and he wasn't comfortable on the sofa sleeper. "Some of the friendliest people I've dealt with"
A most excellent stay; made me wish I was there longer. Only complaint is ceiling/floor a bit thin so if you have noisy people above you, you will hear them. "Top notch"
This is by far one of the nicest hotels in the area. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The rooms were very nice. This is my second time to stay here and I will be staying here on my return visit to Anniston. The breakfast is more than you could ask for. The selection is great. I really enjoyed my stay with a clean room and good breakfast food in the lobby. I only wish they had a movie selection on the TV to purchase. "Amazing staff!"
The hotel staff were so accommodating and hospitable! I knew they had a breakfast, which was great but they also served chili and drinks (including beer) complimentary in the evening - that as a pleasant surprise! The fact that this hotel is pet friendly is amazing to me too. Finally, after they had closed the evening service for drinks, I wanted one […] more diet coke. When I requested it, they not only gave me one, they gave me 1/2 of a case they had! The only issue I have with Hampton Inn is the toll free reservation number, I called in to make a second reservation and was on hold 20 minutes until I finally hung up and had to look up the number to phone directly and got in immediately. Because I was driving, this created unnecessary stress. Not sure why any company would have a hold time of over 20 minutes to make a reservation, that's unconscionable.
