Jeg synes at det er et OK hotel. Den store plus at man kan booke en udflugt lige i receptionen, og generelt er der godt service. Jeg kunne ikke lide min seng, som var meget smale.

Hotellet ligger lige ved Rekjavik lufthavn, men det er ikke noget problem selvom man ankommer med fly til Keflavik. Hotellet har shuttle service til Keflavik og ind til downtown. Flyene, der letter fra Rekjavik lufthavn holder pause fra kl. ca. 20 - 07, saa der er ikke nogen problemer med stoej om natten. Man spiser godt paa hotellets restaurant.

Alt var som forventet på et 4 stjernet hotel.

Dejligt ophold til afslapende ferie lidt væk fra den indre by men kan let komme til centrum,

Lækkert hotel med alt hvad et hotel skal have. Selvom det er midt i en lufthavn er vi ikke generet af støj - der er helt roligt. Fin gåafstand til byen, hvis ikke lige de gratis hotelbusser passer - de kører flere gange i løbet af dagen til og fra byen.

Our stay at the hotel was overall satisfactory. Considering our visit was in the winter, the distance from the citycenter was a little inconvenient. However, frequent shuttle buses ensured that we were not disconnected. Our main reason for staying at the Natura was the heated pool and sauna, both of which were awesome. Don't forget to carry your costumes! The […] hotel is well connected to the airport, and the travel desk ensures that you are able to book whatever tour you want to go to. The Golden Circle tour is HIGHLY recommended. The staff is very courteous and eager to help. Great place to stay during the summer, but would recommend staying nearer to the city in the winters. First, the Loftleidir Hotel has changed its name to Natura. We were continually told that the change is recent. The local buses had the old name as did all the literature. This change also extended to various tour buses that now went to the back (airport side) of the hotel, not the front. Even the person who sold us the Blue Lagoon Tickets as well as […] the return trip to the airport didn't understand this rather critical aspect. The breakfast buffet was good but it wasn't included in the room fee. When we asked we were told it was because we booked it through another agency however we booked it through the Iceland air website. You couldn't take a snack with you even though there were no signs to that effect. The room was spartan. There were no bathroom amenities. There was a happy video in the lobby of a family watching a movie from the bed in their room. We had to put a sandal under each leg of the bed to prevent it from sliding as we watched the abysmal selection on their TV. The bed reading lights were useless unless you wanted to sit on the floor next to the bed. There was no information book in the room about hotel services. And there was no free internet. Læs mere

Hotel is comfortable with all of the modern amenities. About 25 minute walk to downtown but the free shuttle to and from is handy; just plan it into your time. Otherwise you can walk or cab. We were there a week... We had a deluxe room which is about the size of a normal room in the USA and never heard a plane...but heard everyone above and around us. The cleaning staff had issues with removing dirty glasses.. they didn't like too. And the electric water heater for tea ... had water in it when we got the room..( it was tucked away in the […] closet) who knows how long that water sat there so we never used it. We tried the breakfast one time and never ate at the restaurant. The web site states if you are coming from North America you can check in at 9:00 am ..we were not allowed to check in till 10:45 am we got there we got there at 8:30 am. So over all it was ok. When traveling near the Arctic Circle, accommodations are sometimes not only hard to come by, but not always as advertised. This is an amazing hotel, with a fantastic restaurant and an amazing spa...but it's at the airport. It's too far for most fat assed travelers to walk to the city, so it is, as they say, "Priced out of the neighborhood." The hotel is fantastic, but what's it doing on the airport tarmac? This hotel was very convenient! I was allowed to check in at 7:30AM with no issues, and the hotel offers shuttle buses to downtown Reykjavik throughout the day. My room was clean and cute if a bit cold (was in Iceland in March) not sure if the hotel has heating, but other then that great hotel! Staff were kind and spoke english which was awesome.

STAYED HERE 35 YEARS AGO AND IT IS STILL A VERY NICE HOTEL. THE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND THE SHUTTLE TAKES YOU RIGHT INTO DOWNTOWN AND THE BUFFET WAS FIRST CLASS. TOOK SEVERAL VISITS TO THE HOT TUB

We chose this hotel because of previous recommendations in reviews and because it had its own indoor pool - we used this several times to relax in after long weary days sightseeing. At all times the various staff in the hotel were courteous and informative. We felt valued as guests. We stayed in a luxury room and believe the 'extras' well worth the […] money we paid. The shuttle bus suited us to get into Reykjavik but we rarely used it to get back as the return times were too close to the time we had arrived in the city. This said, we enjoyed the walk back to the hotel. The Loftleider is close to the Perlan and the Bus Terminal and all the tour operators and the airport buses stop at the hotel. This we found a huge advantage. Our room was made up and cleaned each day to a high standard and was spacious being a luxury room. My son liked being near the Falcon Football team stadium and often went over in the evening to the Astro turf and always invited to join in the football training. I like being a walk away from all the main attractions without being right on top of them. I would definitely stay at the Lofteider again. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable 10 nights there with no complaints at all. Thanks to the special Story Telling nights on Thursdays we also gained an insight into Icelandic literature - we were able to attend two - very entertaining. Læs mere

we had a "delux" family room which was huge. very clean with good facilities.......they even put several large stuffed toys in the room for the kids to play with. we also stayed in the (more expensive) Radisson blu SAGA hotel and found the icelandair hotel far superior. down side would be that it is a 20-30min walk from the city with not so much around […] it. also, the rate that we booked had no breakfast included. but if you can live with that, then i think that this is a great base to explore iceland, esp if you have kids in tow. the major bus tour operators will pick you up directly from the hotel and the flybus will transfer you directly from the hotel to the airport (and vice versa). the hotel also provides a free shuttle to/from the city. I will definitely return to this hotel for another stay. The hotel was clean and the staff very polet and helpful.

It's just too easy to find a better room with better amenities (charging for wifi? is this a Fairfield Inn?), better design, better service, and better location for the same - or better - price. So, barring a room shortage, I can't imagine staying here again - it's only the second hotel I've ever tried to check out of early in my life. One staff member […] was quite helpful (he believed my complaint of no electricity in the room - the first desk person did not - and found the blown breaker), but the rest varied from comically brusque to dismissive to misinformational. Loftleider is not awful, but as introductions to Iceland go, the country deserves much better than this, and in most other places in Reykjavik, it gets much better than this. Læs mere

We are New Yorkers and very used to walking in a city and this town was perfect for everything and EVERYTHING was within walking distance. I am definitely staying again and telling all my friends. I am disappointed that breakfast was not included with the hotels.com tickets....I mean does breakfast really cost that much? But, what we did have was lovely. I […] will definitely go again. All the tours came right to the hotel and everyone was accomodating but for the concierge. She seemed to want to get rid of us the moment we asked her any question. The hotel is well cared for and well staffed. The pool is small but nice. The hot tub and sauna were also very comfortable. There is free in room wifi. Two problems were that the shuttle times were not conducive to going and coming from town in 2 to 3 hours.. especially the break in service between morning and late afternoon. 3 adults and a kid of 12 had a pleasant stay for 4 nights with good service. Restaurant had OK food and excellent service. The kid liked the hotel swimmingpool. We recommend the hotel as a good plain hotel

Loved: the updated and larger public guest areas, the shop and travel desk, the artist room overlooking the airport, the friendliness of the staff, the free shuttle into Reyjavik. Disliked: the loudness of some of the tours staying there in the public areas at times. Breakfast could get very crowded.

They need to upgrade their TV, computer hardware also the room was very hot.

Our room at Icelandair Hotel Loftleidir was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We appreciated the that the shuttle from the airport went directly to the hotel and enjoyed the breakfast. However, the best part of our stay was the friendly staff. Thank you!

Don't get worried when you've arrived at the hotel because the building looks dated! This interior of the hotel has been renovated. The walk to the Reykjavik city centre from the hotel is probably around 25mins but because half of it you have to walk around the airfield which is quite unattractive, boring and WINDY, that walk seemed to have taken forever! […]  But they do have free shuttle buses which take you to the city centre in 5mins so if you stick to their timetable, you should be fine. We have upgraded ourselves to a poet room which just adds a little extra touch to what could be a mundane, basic Scandinavian decor standard room. As the upgrade only cost us GBP8 extra - well worth the money! Læs mere

Savnet svømmebasseng med vanlig temperatur, til svømming. Savnet kald kulp til avkjøling mellom de varme badene. For kort åpningstid for badeanlegget. Savnet gratis kaffe og te fra god kaffemaskinen, med latte, cappuchino osv. Fint med avgang til sightseeingturer fra hotellet. Meget negativt med avgangene : kaos i resepsjonen før hver bussavgang. Folk […] skjønte ikke om de måtte finne riktig buss selv eller om de ville bli ropt opp av sjåfør/turleder. Beliggenheten er stygg og for langt til sentrum i surt vær. Læs mere

Vi tok sjansen igjen! Forrige opphold var ikke så bra på noen punkter - midt i en ombyggingsperiode. Denne gangen derimot: Kjempebra!! Hvis noe skal trekkes ned, så er det desverre maten. Men dette er heller ikke avgjørende for oss. Vi kommer igjen :-) Garantert.

Meget bra hotel som ligger godt plassert litt utenfor selve sentrum ca. 15 min. å gå, men hotellet har buss som kjører ned til sentrum og tilbake flere ganger daglig, meget god service. Fra flyplassen går det også buss som kjører til det hotellet du ønsker mot en ekstra betaling, veldig bra! Storfornøyd med oppholdet denne gang også! Skal mann klage […] på noe må det være hvis en får rom ut mot den innenlands flyplassen, der kan det bli en del støy. Sist sommer måtte vi ha åpent vindu da det ble litt varmt noe som gjorde at støyen fra flyene ble litt voldsom av og til. Læs mere

Nice hotel. Location was ok, not too far from the city (approx. 25 minute walk) and the complimentary shuttle bus was very handy. Breakfast (not included) was great! Service at the reception and hotel's tourist info was poor. No info was given without asking for it (shuttle bus, breakfast times and prices, opening times for pool etc.) and a smile […] would have been too much to ask for. There was also no hotel info at the room or anywhere to be found at the hotel! The only place where service was good and friedly was hotel's restaurant. All in all, very clean hotel, room was huge (we had a family deluxe room for 2 persons), location was ok and no noice from the airport could be heard. Læs mere

Et veldig trivelig hotell! Det ligger litt utenfor sentrum, men dermed er det også enkelt å få parkert leiebilen etter dagsutfluktene. Skal du ned til sentrum, er det gratis shuttlebuss både morgen og kveld. Dessuten, er du glad i litt mosjon, er sentrum bare en 20 minutters spasertur unna. Fint turterreng like ved hotellet.

Det var anleggsarbeid rundt og i hotellet. Men når det blir ferdigstilt blir det flott. Med et unntak var det veldig bra betjening både i matsaler og resepsjonen. Veldig behjelpelige.

Hotellet ligger litt utenfor byen (ca. 20 min til fots), noe som kan være greit å være forberedt på. Er under oppussing, så det er litt rotete i inngangspartiet/resepsjonsområdet. Ser man bort i fra dette, så hadde hotellet bra standard og jeg kunne gjerne bo der igjen.

Yes - I know this hotell i by an airport - but why did it have to sound like the aircrafts warmed up their engines inside our room? And at 5 o' clock in the morning?

Hotelli ei vastannut ollenkaan sitä mitä annettiin kuvauksisa ilmi. Keskustaan oli pitkä matka. Hotellin ympäristössä ei ole mitään nähtävää, kauppoja, ulkoilumahdollisuuksia. Henkilökunta ei millään lailla huomioinut asiakkaita (ei tervehtinyt aamulla tai päivällä) vaikka kulku oli heidän edestään. Hissiä piti odottaa koko ajan (pieni ja ahdas). Store deler av hotellet var avstengt, tidligere år har baren vært et naturlig samlingssted, dette eksisterte ikke i år. I tillegg var bridgearrangementet flyttet til et annet sted. Jeg fikk ingen informasjon om dette på forhånd (ikke bare hotellets feil).
