Dejligt og centralt beliggende hotel, fine store værelser. Rigtig dejligt pool område m/spa - pænt og rent.
Placering.
Rodeway Inn & Suites Bakersfield ligger i Bakersfield og er tæt på Camelot Park, Buck Owens Crystal Palace og Valley Plaza Mall. I nærheden er også Rabobank Arena og McMurtrey Aquatic Center.

"Basic, clean hotel room"
Overall it was what we expected. For the price you receive a clean, quiet room with WiFi included. There is also a hot tub (good with kids) and a pool (for warm weather only). The 'included' breakfast was not good.

"Nice quiet clean"
Check in was flawless, my room was surprisinly nice given the age and the star rating. Front desk rep was nice helpful and thorough. Bathroom, and shower area was clean and showed little wear. The continental breakfast was ok. But it had all the healthy stuff one would want plus coffee milk and orange juice. I was very please and surprise being that […] the rate was very affordable. "Careful in the shower"
The room was comfortable for the price. The light cover was missing in the bathroom so there were exposed wires and bulbs. While taking a shower the water would not stay a consistent temperature. It would get extremely hot and then cold. The bathtub was an old tub that used to be a jacuzzi tub. They had taken out the jets and just left large holes in […] the tub. "it was OK!"
I BEEN IN THIS HOTEL SEVERAL TIMES AND IS BEEN OK! JUST ON SUMMER THE AIR CONDITION NOT WORK! :( AND ONE TIME THE WINDOW WAS BROKEN AND THEY DIDNT CHANGE ME TO AN OTHER ONE :(

"Rode way Inn in Bakersfield"
I was very disappointed for the price I paid they gave me a handicapped room and the shower head was a hand massage type that hung 3 ft up from the tub and there was no bracket for positioning it for a regular Sized person (very frustrating ) and the tv was cable but every channel was fuzzy like it had bad rabbit ears for a antenna ,basically the hotel […] looked very tired and for the condition of the hotel I would have expected to pay 1/2 of what I did.,I have stayed in other hotels just across the road that were in much better condition for the same Money !and there continnial breakfast was a joke for what other hotels offer for the same money !! We have spent a total of 10 days spread out over six weeks and would continue to stay there again. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and should be a three star hotel. Would like a hot breakfast, but it works. Whenever we are in Bakersfield, this is where we will stay.

"Better than expected"
Rooms comfortable, clean, and well done. Only problem was that there were only 2 tables in the lobby for the breakfast and no waffles. No separate room for breakfast. However, everything else was terrific and we revisited 3 times in 2 weeks.

"Will stay again"
We ve got more that we paid for. Stopped over for a night on the way from north Ca to Las Vegas, and we really like it here. The room was big enough for 2 adult and 2 kids, clean, comfy bed, good breakfast.
"Great location for freeway access"
Well maintained, clean, somewhat basic amenities. EASY access off and back onto the freeway. MANY places to eat nearby, many in walking distance. Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet. Don't expect much from the breakfast, VERY simple and typical of economy motels.

The appearance of the outside of the hotel is very nice, but if you check in after 8pm you will be standing outside to check in which was cold, and then when we walk into our room we were like ok its one night but never again, the bed was hard couldnt sleep, the tv remote didnt work and the noise around was not very good just a very uncomfortable night […] i rather pay a few dollars more and stay somewhere more comfy this was 1/2 step up from a motel 6 but we probably would have been more comfy and fyi i am not a complainer but me and my finace was unhappy Læs mere

Nice room for a overnight stay. The door did not seal and the light from the hall shined in from the hall all night. TV is very small! But otherwise as a stop over met the price and accomodation expectations.

Good value for a quick over night stay. Room was clean and surprisingly bigger than expected. King bed was not rock hard which was nice. Breakfast was the usual continental, apples, toast, cereal..... wish their was some protein involved, but no. Spent 4 nights at the hotel. It was always quiet and the beds comfortable. All the items in the room worked and the conditions in the room good. Nice covered parking. The coffee was good at breakfast. Fruit was fresh not much else there appealed to me. Would stay there again.

All I required from this hotel stay was a bed and a pool as we passed thru Bakersfield. The 2 queen room we got was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool was small but very clean. I waa disappointed In the continental breakfast and in the toiletries provided in the rooms. But I would stay here again if I was passing thru

"Clean Comfortable Quiet Room"
Great value for the price. Spacious comfortable room; wonderful air conditioner and so, so, CLEAN. The only problem we had was when we came back to our room after 2PM, the bed was stripped and the room was not made up, so we had to go back out in the heat and drive around with nothing to do until the room was ready. We gave them 20 minutes and when […] we came back, all was well. The whole hotel was very well kept and clean although the pool was small and used constantly in the 100degree heat that day. Good location, close to Hwy 99. Sauna was broken and the room was very hot when we got there. It would be nice if they turned on the AC before we got there so we didn't need to stay in a hot room while the AC came up to speed.

Close to freeway but quiet. Nice spacious room, clean carpets, with small already cold Refrigerator, microwave, quality coffee & coffeemaker, adequate desk. Room for improvement, entryway lighting was dim, rest of room fine. Covered parking - a must for hot sunny climates. Free local calls, had some trouble with a long distance call but they didn't […] charge me; and Wi-Fi took some effort to establish but worked fine. Spa was good. "Disabled room review"
Accessible room is adequate if you bring your own shower chair, and can navigate over a low tubwall. Bathroom is clean, but lighting is poor. There is a hand held shower nozzel with lots of grab rails, which are helpful. The hallway doors leading to outside are VERY difficult to open in manual wheelchair. Nothing like the pictures or the description. Instead you have the bottom of the barrell. If you can get past the smell of lysol, the shakes everytime someone down the hall closes a door, then watch out for the exposed electrical wiring hanging from the bathroom ceiling fan/light. Go anyplace but the Rodeway Inn in Bakersfield.

"A fine value."
Hotel was clean and well lit. Beds were fine and bedding seemed very clean. Bathroom was clean as well. Water pressure was nice too. A good value.

Well, I will say this, this is just an average hotel and for the price it was ok, not great, but just ok. I think next time I might fork out just a bit more money for another place. You know the old saying, "You get what you pay for.", well that holds true for this place. I was trying to save some bucks for the trip and it was only for one night. […] I am not a picky person, so if you are not a picky person too, then this will suite you just fine. The rooms were average, the continental breakfast composed of a bottle of milk in a bowl of ice to keep cold (same with the bottle of OJ), some packaged pastries, boxed cereal and a few muffins and bagels with a toaster and it's all set up at the check-in lobby off to the side. The pool is very small (but we weren't swimming anyway, because it was 40° in the middle of winter), and when we walked down the hallway we could smell someone smoking in their rooms. At least our room didn't smell of smoke. The bathroom had a noisy fan, but not a big deal. The beds were ok and the room was average. So it was an average stay. Just glad it was for only one night, if it was for more than one night I would have forked the money over for a better place. So there you have it in my honest opinion. Læs mere
