Vi boede to nætter på Avenue Suites, og var mere end tilfredse. Kæmpe lejlighed i fuldstændig nyistandsat bygning, meget venligt og hjælpsomt receptionspersonale, og sågår en udemærket (inkluderet) morgenmadsbuffet, som vi ikke var blevet lovet på forhånd. Topkarakterer!! :-)

Virkeligt dejligt hotel med god beliggenhed i forhold til alle de store seværdigheder. God service i receptioenen. Desværre et værelse ud til en skakt, men havde ikke tid til at ærge os over det.

Hottellet ligger rigtigt centralt i forhold til de store seværdigheder i det centrale Washington DC. Det er slidt og af ældre dato, men det er funktionelt og vi havde ikke noget at udsætte på servicen. Desværre er hotellet stort og billigt, hvilket lejrskoler og lignende også benytter sig af. Det var ret irriterende, at den pris hotels.com oplyste blev belagt med en skat på 10 procent pr. overnatning da vi tjekkede ud og skulle betale regningen! Vi forventede at den oplyste pris var den fulde pris!

Fint suite-værelse med separat soverum. Der var lidt mørkt og kun to stole ved spisepladsen, men ellers fine faciliteter. Vi havde booket to nætter til at "komme" os efter en lang flyvetur med to børn, og det var hotellet rigtig fint til.
Placering.
Embassy Suites Dulles North ligger i Ashburn, og der er attraktioner såsom National Air and Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, Reston National Golf Course og Reston Zoo i regionen. Ekstra attraktioner i regionen er bl.a. Lake Fairfax Park.
Hotelfaciliteter.
Embassy Suites Dulles North har en indendørs pool, et fitnesscenter eller -rum og en sæsonbestemt udendørs pool. Fællesarealerne er udstyret med trådløs internetadgang (mod tillægsgebyr). "Easy reach of airport, but just far enough away"
This hotel is located in a great area in Ashburn VA. The airport is less than 10 minutes away, with plenty of shops close by. Staff were very friendly and helpful, with a free shuttle to and from the airport. Breakfast had plenty of choices and great to see them have plenty of fresh fruit also. Nice, clean hotel....only 1 issue Hotel.com did not book a smoking room for us and the hotel did not have any available, so the 1st night we had to stay in a non-smoking room even though our confirmation was for a smoking room!
"Unexpected perks at this price"
This hotel was very good for the price they charge. The pool and hot tub were clean. There was a 2 hour free happy hour and a great free breakfast (this is not a couple bagels and fruit!). The breakfast had an omlette station along with lots of eggs, bacon, sausage, and homefries (along with all the standard breads/fruit/cereal).
Very comfortable room, Bed was very comfortable and my wife commented on an excellent night sleep attributing it to the mattress. Manager reception was very nice and breakfast was outstanding. We will start staying at Embassy Suites more as a result of this trip.

I had a great stay with the Embassy Suites. The staff was very professional, the rooms were clean, and we were in close proximity to our travel destinations. We were quite pleased and will indeed book our reservations with this location again.

We stayed here with a toddler and an infant. Size of the suite was great and they provided us a crib upon request. Clean rooms and good service.

"Ambience"
The hotel surroundings, decor and atmosphere were conducive for our stay. We celebrated our wedding night the Embassy Suites and the ambiance of the hotel made it romantic for us. We wished we could have afforded to stay a whole week. It would have been great if the hotel offered complimentary strawberries or something to acknowledge our wedding.

Everyone I came into contact with at this location was very pleasant and the food was very good, will definanetly stay there again if I am in the area.

Overall, we loved this place and would definitely stay again. You cannot beat the value for our family of 5. My kids loved the pool and having their own TV in the sitting area. The adults loved the complimentary evening snacks and cocktails. We all looked forward to the full breakfast which included fresh fruit, yogurts, a variety of baked goods and […] cereals as well as omelets made to order and belgian waffles. My 10-year old thought he died and went to unlimited sausage and bacon heaven! The room was well-appointed but needed some minor attention (a tear in the shower curtain, stains on drapes). Our only real disappointment was the sofa bed. The flimsy mattress has a large stain on it, 2 of the springs near the foot of the bed were missing so we had to be careful not the sit on it and keep our littlest one up near the head of the bad. And we were only provided a top sheet, which meant we had to go to the lobby to get linens at 11 pm. The other 2 queen beds were very comfortable, though. "Catch the bus - don't pay a taxi!"
Stayed here for one night upon landing in the USA and again for the night before returning to the UK. We always choose Embassy Suites (with 3 children) so that they can fill up at the Manager's Reception, usually negating the need to eat in the restaurant or dial a pizza! Evening nibbles here were varied and plentiful and the beer cold! Breakfat too […] is always an 'eat-as-much-as-we-can' job to save buying lunch. It's a shame breakfast finishes at 9am on weekdays as we had to set an alarm on our last morning of the holiday! This ES was very clean, had an indoor pool/hot tub as well as access to the neighbouring outdoor pool, however, on the 3 times we were outdoors, our ES keycard didn't give us access back in so we had to wait for a passer by to let us in! Staff are generally pleasant at all ES but the waitress on our second night was miserable and unhelpful - just a blip! My tip would be to take the time to call the hotel and wait for the courtesy bus for a ride to the hotel - we were very tired upon arrival and just took a taxi - cost us $25 for a 5/10 minute ride. Be warned too that a ride into central DC in a taxi cost us $85! I would have preferred to stay at the ES which is closer to Dulles but it was fully booked both nights, however this one is everything you would expect from the ES brand and I would recommend it. I have stayed at this hotel frequently from 2008 to 2010 and enjoyed it very much. On our last stay, the staff is still superb, but it appears that the facility is starting to become worn. The normally comfortable suite was not as comfortable as in the past. "Convenient to Ashburn"
This hotel is a very nice option if you need to stay in Ashburn. The staff is very helpful. Sometimes I find Embassy Suites to be very noisy due to the atrium, but this was not a problem here. The made-to-order omelets at breakfast were a nice surprise.

"New Mattress Are Needed"
After one night of sleep we woke up with lower back pain. The next day the pain was intensitively worse than the previous day, we attribute the back pain to the mattress. When we got home and slept on our own bed in one night the pain left, so a good night sleep we did not get!

I recommend Embassy Suites Dulles North if you have kids - they loved the pool. We were very pleased with this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They answered our questions and gave us the option of changing our room when the air stopped working.Great breakfast/happy hour/fitness room. No major complaints! Beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night!
