Four Winds Condo Motel - Wildwood Crest

Had a great stay at Four Winds, the location was right on the beach, couldn't beat it. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There is a nice pool which we didn't use since the beach was so close. Positive: location, price, cleanliness. Negative, small room, pool filter ran at a dull hum constantly which was annoying when sitting on the balcony […] but we couldn't hear it when inside our room. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were painless and simple. The efficiency we stayed in includes a medium fridge, hotplate, coffeemaker, toaster and full set of dishes, utensils, etc which was nice. We were in the simplest (ie cheapest) room which I was completely satisfied with, the upgraded rooms looked much more spacious when I leered as I walked by an open door. Overall had a great stay and would stay there again. It was def. not roach or bug infested, I showered without sandals and walked bare foot in the room without hesitation. Læs mere

Very nice and friendly staff. Very helpful with recommending places to eat and finding different locations. The room was an efficiency and looked like it had been recently remodeled. Newer cabinets and counter, newer clean fridge and everything you need to feel at home. Beds were clean and comfy. Walked out of our room and onto the beach. Coming from The Bahamas, I was surprised by the tiny rooms for the price. The desk lady couldn't have been nicer. All the hotels are pretty much the same in the area, so you have to pay what they are asking.

Four winds was exactly what we were looking for! It's right on the beach, the room had a seperate bedroom (with door) and a little kitchen/sitting area. Great for naptime with grandson! It's a family friendly place; they have grills and tables all over; you wouldn't need to eat out if money is tight. It's a pretty good place, but getting dated. The room was used often and it shows. Lumpy beds, head board shakes when you sit on bed. It certainly did not give a warm and friendly feeling. Go elsewhere, plenty to choose from. We left and found a much better condo.

I was impressed - thought since it was one of the few hotels with availability it would be less than desirable, but it was great! Clean, right on beach, near food, shopping. Only improvements would have been to provide hair dryer and hotel shampoo as most do, but even this was not a turn-off. They thought of most everything else. This is an older property but it was very clean and comfortable. It was a 2 bdrm. efficiency tight on the beach and the people ther are very nice and accomodating. We would stay there again.

Fabulous location, as "on the beach" as you can get - we could actually see the breakers (waves) from the deck in front of our room! The full kitchen facilities were also a big plus. A very pleasant couple (Loretta and John) runs and maintains the motel, and were helpful in suggesting nearby restaurants, etc.

The rooms were pretty old, with shabby furnishings... However, the hotel was so conveniently close to the beach... No need to cross the street... The whole family also enjoyed swimming on the heated pool... It was a great stay at Wildwood!

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our recent stay at Four Winds Condo Motel. The hotel staff were very accomodating when I called to let them know that because of the harsh weather we were going to get there after the office closes at 10pm. They were nice enough to wait for us. We really appreciated that. We were also pleasantly surprised […] that the hotel was on the ocean. Most motels of the well known motels are not. The rooms were clean and had a nice kitchennette. The room was a little crowded because it had two large double beds but that was OK because it gave us more room to spread out. Stayed in Room 317 - this seems important because each unit is owned & maintained separately. The rooms were clean, Loretta at the desk was wonderful! We went on a stopover & only wanted to have a hot shower, watch some TV & a comfortable bed. Got 2 out of 3. The TV remote was missing - so we had to get up & down anytime we wanted to change the channel […] or volume. Lazy I know, but... The shower was a drip - no pressure & the water was warm not hot. We'd just spent the entire day running in & out of the rain & wind. Had these 2 things been better it would have been great. Læs mere

Our stay at the Four Winds was pleasant enough with no major incidents. We had a one bedroom efficiency unit but the unit was a bit smaller than I expected and the bathroom was the smallest I had ever experienced in a motel/hotel. Had decent pressure in the shower. Building is old and therefore the elevators were extremely slow, especially considering […] there are only 4 floors. We were not provided enough towels - between the beach, the ocean, the pool and showering you really do need more than one towel per person. We asked for more towels around 9 in the evening and were told the girls didn't come in until 9am and asked if first thing at 9 would be okay. The towels were never brought... they were just exchanged out in their normal rounds around 11:30am. We needed to make use of the sleeper sofa and found there were no blankets provided in the room for this. We had to ask for them. The location was great - right on the beach. The heated pool was a blessing. I am not positive we will stay at the motel again as we will be looking for a bit more space next time, but overall the visit was pleasant and no major flaws. We found the employees ready to help with any problems, no matter how small. We were having a slight problem with our key. We had mentioned it only between ourselves when one of the male employees came up and asked if we were having a problem. We said we were, but nothing serious. L état de l hotel était tres mal propre chambre tres tres pettite pas de garde robe pas de bureau et aucun autre rangement pas d ustensile dans la cuisinette en plus il a fallut argumenté pour avoir une chambre tel que vous nous avier réservé ( cuisinette) l endroit était tres bien sur le bord de la mer , mais il y avait de la place dans tous les autre […] hotel meme si vous nous aviez dit qu il ne restait pas de place dans plusieurs hotel qu on vous avait demandé il vous faudras faire de gros efford si vous voulez qu on réserve encore une fois en espérant une réponse . yvon Læs mere

Le divan lit était exécrable mais tout le reste était parfait et selon nos attentes.
