Travelodge Cincinnati - Cincinnati

We were very happy with the service. Our toilet broke in middle of night and they came immediatly to fix it. They are always cordial and helpful. I have stayed here numerous times and I highly suggest it for this price range.

During my visit to CIncinnati I found this hotel to be nice but hard to find. It sits so far back off the road and there are no visible signs from the street only those you see from the highway after you pass the exit. Otherwise it was clean, customer service was good and comfortable.

Very disappionted. If it wasn't 3am when I checked in and I was too tired to notice just how dangerous the room was I would have refused to stay there at all. But, I took pictures when I awoke to see the room we had slept in. Sprinkler system complete with rust and mold eating away the wall and ceiling. The light and the central air and heat system […] had obvious evidence of bieng rewired, just laying out. Not to mention the picture that looked as though it had smoke damage from a fire and water damage to the wall above the window. Concluding with the rhino bettle that was caught and take to the on duty personel who refused to come to our room. And finally to the man rushing us from using the restroom as we were leaving, I assume he was housekeeping. I will not stay there again nor would I recommend them to anyone. Læs mere

Hotel lobby was reasonably clean but elevator had a strange, unpleasant smell. It was confirmed, again, at the front desk upon arrival that I wanted a nonsmoking room-- got a smoking room anyway with some cigarrette burns on the toilet seat and burn holes in the sheets. Coffee pot didn't work, safe didn't work. Room was clean, but run down. Breakfast […] was okay with waffles to make yourself, but that and cold cereal were the high points. Did have free Wi-Fi and place was quiet without disturbances in our sleep. Altough affordable, was still about 15 miles from town and could probably have paid a little more and been in a better maintained hotel closer to the attractions. Læs mere

I guess you can say we got what we paid for. The rooms were dirty. The shower/tub had not been cleaned there was hair on the wall, spiders nestled in our towels and rags, and huge rust and mold spots on bottom of tub. There were also cobwebs all over the ceiling. There was a fridge and microwave in the room. The bed sheets and covers had cigarette holes […] all over it and the floor didn't look like it had been cleaned. Overall the hotel was a good stay. The third shift front desk clerk was very friendly and made me feel comfortable to stay for the night. Only thing I was concerned about was the dirt buildup on the back of the cushion. But other than that it was a pleasant stay. Upon arrival I presented my hotels.com receipt only to be told that they would not honor it. This was new years eve and I was in for a football game as well. The Arabic owner said that he needed $60 more to give me the keys. I went a little crazy and told him this was a binding contract and he would be talking to a lawyer of he didn't comply. He would […] only give us 1 room key, 2 small towels, and 2 washcloths total. Also the thermostat on the heater didn't work so the option was either freezing or sweating. The hotel was pretty much empty but he wouldn't give us a differen room. The tiles were stained yellow and there was a hole in te bathtub that leaked water all over the room. This is worse than any hotel I've been in including South America with no running water!!! Do not stay here Læs mere

In general I have been happy with this hotel I have been there many times. This time though in a non smoking room had a very strong smell of smoke and hotel staff (who I never saw before) was very uncooperative.

The service was great. Everyone we meet was kind. We were on the third floor and the window would not lock but it was ok because there was no way someone could get up to it, that would only be a concern for people with children. It was relatively inexpensive and close to the freeways. But the moment we pulled up, we wished we had just spent the extra money. It's the last hotel on a dead end, past all the nice hotels, past the abandoned boarded-up Willy's BBQ. Feels like you could get mugged back there. There was sign in the lobby the said "Mary Christmas". At least it was […] good for a laugh. The whole place felt dingy. We had to air out the room when we walked in. The towels were visibly dirty. The tub/shower was moldy. The pillows were totally flat and the bed was hard. But the worst part to me, as I was laying in bed with the lights off, I was on my phone and I saw tiny bugs flying and jumping in front of my screen. I prayed they were harmless and none of them were bed bugs. Needless to say, I didn't sleep well. At least I didn't wake up with any bites. I actually considered sleeping in the car (even though it was 30 degrees outside) but the parking lot felt so unsafe I took my chances with the bugs. So glad to be home!!! Læs mere

I was not overly impressed with this hotel, but it was super cheap, so I guess it was to be expected. Positives: 1. The staff was very friendly, as far as we had any interaction with them. 2. The breakfast was better than most since they had a waffle maker and not just the usual donuts and bagels. Negatives: 1. The room (and hallways) were freezing […] cold. The room did warm up once the heat was turned on, but it was hard to regulate a good comfortable temperature. Again, par for the course I suppose. 2. The room was not very clean. It wasn't to the point of being a health hazard or anything, just seemed like a sloppy job of cleaning between visitors. 3. The TV channels were mislabeled on the television and there was no channel guide to help either, so for the (very limited) selection, we just had to flip until we could find something to watch. We were visiting family and apartment hunting the whole weekend, so we only used the room to sleep in each night. As such, the TV thing wasn't a huge deal, but if you plan on spending any significant time in the room, you'd probably be better off elsewhere. Læs mere

We had a good night's stay at the right price. Breakfast was provided in a pleasant dining space and the staff were very courteous and friendly.

Room was located right next to the freeway, very noise was loud at night. If it wasn't for that it was a nice stay.

If you are looking for just a bed nothing else in a hotel. bring a set a set of clothes to sleep in as well. this place was dirty. we found empty liquor bottles under the bed and the bathroom was gross. definately didn't feel too safe here.

This Hotel really surprised me. When we first arrived it seemed to be a little secluded. It is all the way at the end of the road behind a run down abandoned business, and the room was kind of small. However the management was VERY friendly, and helpful. The room was VERY clean, and had a huge (king size) comfortable bed, massaging shower head, a fridge, […] and a safe. It was a cozy and wonderful stay and I recommend it for anyone. If I ever stay in that area again I am sure I will be staying at this hotel again. Læs mere

heat and AC were not very good

The price was right but the room had a smell about it and most of the lights and outlets did not work.

Cancelled our stay early. The rooms were filthy and the staff was rude. We checked in Saturday morning at 0700 and the clerk kept telling me we were a no show. The bathroom had hair in the sink from someone shaving. We will never stay in another travelodge.

The room had a bad smell. this is not a good hotel to stay in.

There was a lot of mold in the bathroom. The overall appearance was very poor. When I reported the mold the clerk said I will report the issue but they don't always do what I ask. Also there was aninmal hair on our blankets, a very poor experience in every way. I would never stay here again my family did not like this hotel at all.

Hotel service was good and rooms were as clean as expected for Travel Lodge. Hotel is located in nice area, but is behind a old closed restaurant, a bit of trimming some trees and bushes back would go along ways to a cleaner, safer appearance. I would stay there again as the price is low.

Good price but that's where it ends. Place smelled like mold, carpets were very dirty, shower head came off in my hand. I don't think the sheets were changed before I came to the room. I got another room in the hotel for my parents at their request. They turned back the sheets and there was a blood stain on the pillow...plus all the other benefits […] of the smelly room etc. They did refund my parents money but they (and I) will not go back to this place again. This hotel is tucked back in a run-down area behind closed businesses all by itself. The location of the hotel is creepy and shady, and so are the guests. The first thing we saw as we rounded the building was a 1970's tinted window van, propped up on a jack. My boyfriend and I seriously discussed taking turns sleeping in order to keep watch. The hotel is better than what people is saying. It is very clean and not that bad. I would stay there again. Just give it a try and you'll like it. They said no pets but I did see some people with dogs there.

Gross - this place was scary from the start, when we drove past an abandoned restaurant and to the dark end of a service road, the hotel was run down looking. The desk clerk was pleasant, the lobby was small and tired. The luggage rack barely worked as the tires were flat. The room was dirty, with glitter on the carpet and cheap table and chair in the […] corner. The bed cover was old and worn, the sheets were - clean on one bed and wrinkled on the other. When my GPS said I was at my location I was at an abandon restaurant,than found out the hotel is behind the old restaurant. On the website it says it is in a business district but it is more like industrial area. There are a few restaurants in the area. The hotel does look like the picture, but inside it smells like an old college dorm and looks like […] a house from the 60's that has not been updated. The Wi-Fi doesn't work. This Hotel is surrounded by other beautiful hotels, go to one of them. Better yet don't stay in this area at all. Læs mere

Good value for money. Large outdoor pool. Waffles, cereal, muffins for breakfast.

The keys did not work after the first time we went to the room. The beds were very hard and the towels very thin.

The people at the front desk were very rude. Cutting the customer off with "I know, I know" is not the way I would handle my business.

room wasn't finished being cleaned when I arrived at 9pm. Staff was friendly. Bathroom hadn't been cleaned or wiped down. Cheap price, good for very short stay.

Booked 4 rooms for 2 nights. Outstanding rate for the stay. Hotel shows age yet staff is working hard to maintain property. Staff service was very helpful. This hotel was supposed to be a cheap one night stay had I seen the room first we would have stayed some place else. Lets see, drunks just walking around police driving around looking for some one arguments in the parking lot, highway noise, the only clean place on the premisises was the lobby, where the family owners obviously spend most of their time. […] Now for the room smoking room we walked in and I said some one light a ciggarette so it smells better, no ashtray had to go get one, remote was laying under the bed and when I found it I also found some other lost articles. Stains all over the walls one was blood and not just a little, only had two towels and when I went to go get some they said they were all in the wash WTH!!! And the next day when we went to check out I was ignored while the lady finished what ever paper work she had. This place was nasty and over priced and seemed like their were lots of people around who didnt belong. We wont be back and I dont reccomend any one else stay either especially with kids!!! Læs mere

close to kings island up graded our room to a kingsize in stead of double,clean hotel

Meets the need for an overnight on the road.

The hotel was very dirty and the rooms smelled bad, had cobwebs on the walls, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and the bedding had stains. It was so bad that I tried to get my money back and couldn't and ended up spending more money to go to another hotel. The pictures on their site are deceiving.

stayed one night. it was clean and comfortable. Very good price for the room, and free breakfast. Lliked it a lot.

The room was not clean. Stains on the bedspread's and bathroom had not been cleaned. Right next to the highway and the window in the room would not close all the way so road noise was loud. Overall not happy with this location. Checked in too late to move.

This aging, three-story hotel is located at the end of a dismal street lined with other hotels and a defunct barbecue joint and backs up directly to noisy I-75. The price was the attraction and we soon learned why the rate was so low: the overall condition was, to say the least, run-down. The housekeeping was atrocious and the breakfast bar was pretty […] minimal. Our room was marked "non-smoking" but someone had definitely smoked several cigars in it. The one bright light was the reception desk attendant, a pleasant and helpful young man named Ben who seemed to be on permanent duty. Great receptionists and service! The hotel needs some upgradings.

Was highly IRATE when I was woke up on a Sunday morning at 7am with hammers banging and construction going on in the room directly under us. NO HOTEL SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO DO THIS ON A WEEKEND. The hotel is kinda tucked away behind a run down abandoned old restaurant, but still within seconds of restaurants and the highway.
