Glimrende til prisen, ikke fancy men ganske fint til en overnatning eller flere. Venligt og hjælpsomt personale, meget søde. Lidt lydt hotel dog, morgenmaden forholdsvis simpel men ok.

Placering.
Carson City Plaza ligger i Carson City og er tæt på Sears-Ferris House, Nevada State Capitol og Nevada State Museum. I nærheden er også Nevada State Railroad Museum, Carson City og Northern Nevada Children's Museum.

"nice for the price"
The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. We unexpectedly had to stay a second night and Janet at the front desk was very helpful. There was a soccer tournament in town and most of the rooms had already been booked, but Janet was able to find a very nice room directly across from the room we stayed in the first night, so there was no problem […] with moving to another room. "Hotel was Old"
This Hotel is very old and the card key kept resetting itself everytime we used it we had to go back down and get it programmed. It would only work once. my daughter was so scared she checked for bed bugs before sleeping.

Great waffles at breakfast! The room was lacking some, like in having a coffeemaker to heat hot water and make coffee for before breakfast. Room was quiet.Staff were very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Great place for a family to stay when visiting Tahoe or Reno. Close enough to everything while avoiding the crowds. Beautiful view into Tahoe. I would recommend it for families visiting that don't want to stay in the middle of everything.

This is an excellent choice for the money. Our room was spacious and clean, and there was a fridge and microwave. I have stayed here a few times now and when in Carson City I don't look else where I just come here. Centralized location for everything I need while there. Friendly staff. Rooms are nice and the little kitchenet in the rooms are nice for extended stays.

We chose Carson City Plaza for the affordability of the hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The room was VERY large, included a small fridge and microwave and wet bar type sink, along with plenty of storage space if you plan an extended stay. Booked this hotel last minute while on a recent road trip. I was suprised by how clean, comfortable, and quiet it was for the price of a room in a capitol city. Its location was fantastic, close to the Capitol building and other historic landmarks, as well as right up the street from the chamber of commerce. There was also plenty of restaurants within […] a mile and a great bbq place right next door (which was great after a long day of driving). My spotlessly clean room had a high ceiling and was very spacious. It had a pretty birch tree hand painted onto the wall in one corner, which gave the room some character that you can't find in larger chain hotels. A free continental breakfast was also included. Comfortable room; bed was a bit tired. Room had a microwave and refrigerator. Free breakfast was very limited. Friendly staff; both coming and going.

The room was fine. The check in went very easy. The hotel is convenient to just about everything downtown. They ran out of milk and didn't get a refill for morning breakfast but other than that we had a very good time and would recommend it.

"Great Centralized Location Tahoe/Reno"
I picked Carson City due to my desire to keep the lodging cost lower and to be centralized to both Tahoe and Reno. This hotel turned out to be the right spot. Read the reviews and was not disappointed. Large room, good ammenities and excellent location for morning jog with all the history of a capital city. Casinos and some businesses seem to be rundown, but there are at least a few good restuarants and High Sierra BrewPub just 2 blocks away, with very friendly staff. You will not get the bargain buffets […] like Reno and Lake Tahoe, but also will not deal with the crowds and hustle and bustle. Also close to Virginia City, a unique piece of American history. Also, legal bordellos are just a few miles away to the east - worth a drop in - just to see another part of the old west that may be drifting into the sunset. "wonderful experience"
We were only stopping over for the night on a trip between Washington state and California but wanted to make the trip fun for our kids. We were able to walk a short distance right downtown to see the capital building, legislative building, and other historic sites such as Jack's Bar. "Hot August Nights"
I choose the Plaza in Carson City because during Hot August Nights hotels/motels typically charge 2 or 3 times the normal charge because they can! Which is what kept me out of Reno or Sparks. The Plaza had consistent fees & were very pleasant. I did not go to this area for the Celebration but to visit a life long friend who was at RENOWN Hospital after […] a motorcycle accident. I didn't care about any event but to see my friend & help him through his long rehabilitation so he can return to his home in Redding. It took me awhile to get to Sparks but it was totally worth it! We stayed for only one night, but had a good experience. The hotel is on the main street through town, so everything was easily accessible. Our 3rd floor room was quiet and clean, with interior corridors that were attractive, clean, and again, quiet. The young man at the front desk was courteous, and very helpful with directions to get to a miniature […] golf course in Reno that we were interested in. I would stay at the Plaza again if we were going to be in the area. We ate at Red's 395, which is a half a block over, behind the hotel. We were given a $5 off coupon at check in, which was helpful, although the restaurant's dinner prices were high--try lunch--bigger selection and better prices. "In the middle of town"
The location is prime. In the center of town easy walk to food and shopping and casino's. The room was large, clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast is a small continental fare. Would stay again.

A very pleasant surprise. Rooms were larger than expected and had a refridgerator and microwave which was VERY convienient. Desk clerk gave us a choice of rooms. Overall great experience.

The rooms in main building are a bit old, but big, comfortable, and clean. Large desk with good lighting; wi-fi works well. Walk down the street to pretty capitol grounds and local downtown restaurants. Exercise room (not fancy) includes cardio and strength. Great breakfast. Attentive staff. Coffee and tea 24 hs in lobby.

the only complant we had was that we booked thinking there was a swimming pool, and there was not one there. I wouldn't have booked if i knew that.

We were very pleased with the Carson City Plaza. The management moved us upstairs with no hesitation when we checked in. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable and we were very , very pleased with the price. We would certainly stay there again if we return to Carson City.

Please be aware that this hotel DOES NOT HAVE A POOL as claimed in the Hotel Features. This was extremely disappointing since we stayed at the hotel with our softball tournament team and were confined to our rooms.
"4th of July stay"
Picked this because of it's reviews. We actually had 2 rooms, 1 with a kitchen 1 without. When we arrived a bit after 3:30 our rooms were not ready we wee told it would be an hr & because we had a service dog they had a problem locating rooms for us. We ended up in the older building. The kitchenet room seemed small & smelt of onions but it was clean […] & on the ground floor which was good for us. The other room took us requesting a new room 3 times before we got 1 that the AC worked in & did NOT smell like smoke in the "non smoking" rooms we requested. the 2 front desk clerks that checked us in seemed a bit put out by us being there at all, but the eveing clerk that had to help us find a good room was extremely helpful & apologetic. We found in the a.m. that our shower head was broke my husband went to the front desk & found a "will return in 5 min" note on the counter after waiting 20 he left a note requesting it to be repaired. Upon arriving back at the hotel at 7pm & finding it still not working I spoke with the same gentleman from the evening before & even tho the "maintenance crew" had left he had our shower head replaced within 20 minutes. That man needs a raise! The maids only cleaned 1 or the 2 rooms. The surounding area was quite, we felt safe. The town had a great 4th Celebration. All in all if we could get around the service staff we would probubly stay again. Læs mere
