Lille, men ok værelse. Beliggenheden er meget fin, tæt på togstationen og hovedstrøg. Vi vælger samme hotel ved næste besøg :-)

Hotellet ligger perfekt i forhold til centrum. ca. 10-15 gågang til det kæmpestore Arndale Center. Værelset var meget småt men hvis det kun er for et par dage er det efter min mening fint nok. Rigtig flot lobby område med et pendul ned igennem hotellet . Alt i alt var jeg meget godt tilfreds.

Staff very friendly and hotel very clean We didn't eat here but the hotel is close to Canal Street and PIccadilly where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We stayed on a Friday night and it was very quiet, no noise at all! I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel has a centre quad which was full of ?students who shouted and screamed until the early hours of the morning on a Thursday night! Everything else was fine, but that experience will prevent me staying there again.

This hotel is fine; clean, central and comfortable. The only problem is the lack of wifi - they have wired internet access in the rooms, but this of course is only helpful if your computer can work with that! Would be a great hotel with wifi...

Centrally located for both business and pleasure. Have visited Manchester many times due to work but this was my forst visit to this hotel. Staff very extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Very nice and very convenient to Royal Northern College of Music, which was our destination. Would stay again.

This hotel was fine for an overnight stay and great value for money, perfect if you're looking for something cheap and cheerful. I was particularly pleased to discover that we could receive WiFi in the room unlike many hotels who only provide internet in the lobby and communal areas. I was not, however, impressed to discover stains in the toilet bowl […] from the previous occupant. As we were in a hurry, we chose not to waste time by making a formal complaint, though I'm certain that the hotel would've been only too happy to have sent someone come up to take care of it. We also found the cleaning crew in the morning particularly loud (compared to other hotels recently visited) which wasn't very welcome after a late night out. The double bed frame was full size, however the mattress on the frame was miniscule which displayed inches of stained bed-base at either side; I'd recommend a twin room if there are 2 of you. Stayed for a conference. The lecture theatres, meeting rooms and large hall were all of very high quality. Good WiFi signal throughout (connection a bit slow but then there were 200+ people sharing it...) The rooms are really rather small, but clean and warm. Tiny bathroom, shower only, but again clean and good water pressure. Nothing to write home […] about, but did the job. Læs mere

I could not fault anything about this hotel except no one could find it or give directions to it, but once you found it, it is easy!!Had been warned it was hard to find!. I stayed here for a couple of nights in November 2011 for business. The rooms are quite small, but this wasn't a problem at all for me (might have been if i came with the rest of my family though). The room had everything I needed, was clean and comfortable. Hotel is centrally located and very easy to get to by car. There is a car park opposite, although […] quie expensive - cost me £20 for the duration of my stay (about 36 hours). Stayed for one night with another couple for a Friday night while watching a show at the MEN. Great pricing and very good, clean rooms. Stayed on the ground floor right opposite the university complex and didn't hear a thing. Was disturbed a few times by the doors to the landings banging shut but I guess they just need maintenance. Stopped for a drink […] in the bar on our return and, despite the bar shutting 15mins prior to our arrival the bar staff were very welcoming and friendly. Great location being less than 5 mins walk from Picadilly Station and only 15 from the centre of the shopping areas. Cark park next door also very good with £10 for 24hrs very reasonable. Booked 4 twin rooms but got 2 twin and 2 double with 'put up' bed pushed under window. When we spoke to reception staff they said we had not booked direct (used hotels.com) so our complaint was not with the hotel but with the agent. They said when the order comes from the agent they are obliged to fit us in regardless of our booking. We were told they […] were fully booked and nothing could be done. Later our shower wouldnt work so we were moved to 2 singles (in same fully booked hotel)? Must note I have used hotels.com many times and always been happy with their attention and have NEVER not got what I ordered/requested. Generally rooms were fine but obviously cheap fittings/beds. Eg, bath looked dirty but on inspection was scratched. Paid per room a price comparible with better quality hotels (macdonald nearby) but booked with Days as we thought we we getting twin rooms. Did not have their breakfast as we felt that considering the rest of the hotel it would not represent good quality. Læs mere

Room was small but excellent value for money. Much nicer than travel lodge/budget type accommodation. I have family in Manchester so I have stayed in a lot of the hotels. This is the first one I will check availabilty next time.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel itself was shabby and in need of updating, we felt. It is very close to student accommodation which meant it was noisy during the night. It was convenient to the centre if you don't mind walking for at least 15 minutes.

although we found the hotel clean and tidy , we were slighlty dissappointed with the size of the room and the temperature inside, which led to a very uncomfortable nights sleep. these 2 issues along with the cost for 1 night with no food will make me think twice about coming back sorry

Clean room, well presented, but smaller than I am used to. All facilities worked brilliantly, but my biggest gripe was the lack of a door to the bathroom / toilet area from the bed area. Brilliantly located between both Piccadilly and Oxford Road rail stations (5 mins to each). Plenty of bars / restaurants in the local area, but about a 20 minute walk […] to Deansgate, if that is where you are heading. Firstly, I have never written a negative review of a hotel on any website, however I feel I must on this occasion. This hotel is the hottest hotel I have ever stayed in, and that includes hotels abroad in much hotter climates. I asked the Receptionist how I turned off the central heating and she told me there was no central heating in the rooms and […] that it was an old building and the thick walls retained heat. Therefore, I slept in mid-Sept with windows open and fan on and was still too hot to sleep. Another issues was the noise. We arrived on the Friday evening. We went out that night and hoped for sleep-in on the Saturday morning. This was not to be. An alarm similar to a smoke alarm went off in a neighbouring room at appox. 8.30am and did not stop until approx. 2.30pm in the afternoon. This meant we had to get up and leave the room at this early hour as couldn't bear to remain in this room with this alarm ringing in our ears. We asked reception about this noise at this point and were told it was an electrical fault and was being dealt with. We returned to the room at 11.20am and this noise was still continuing. At approx. 12.30pm I rang reception and was advised that they had only become aware of this noise as we had told them earlier on. This was untrue as when we had mentioned it to them earlier they had told us they were aware of issue and were dealing with it. I asked when issue would be resolved as we were on a weekend break and we had been forced to leave our room first thing due to noise. We were told an 'emergency' engineer had been called out but was still in Blackpool and would arrive in Manchester wiithin the hour. As it was torrential rain outside, we then had to sit in our room from 11.20am and listen to this unbearable noise for another 2 hours. No compensation or offer of move of room, etc, was offered to us, so customer service here was very poor. The location of the hotel was good for the Village (as there for Manchester Pride). The rooms were very small. the bed was in a corner so you could not walk round both sides to get in and did not feel like a full size double. The room was clean and well decorated with what you needed from a budget hotel room. The whole hotel did have a very student […] feel to it but given its attachment to the university and conference centre this is to be expected. Good hotel, small but nice room, new bathroom to a good standard, bed comfortable. However cannot recommend as the room was far too hot, all the time, must have been atleast 25c all night. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

Unfortunately there is no parking!

Lovely rooms but double room far too small for two people. Kept bumping into the wall while asleep. The rooms have no ventilation or air conditioning and it was too hot to sleep. You can't have teh window open as the students all stand outside to smoke and will keep you awake.

Excellent hotel overall within easy distance of both Manchester Pic station and only approx 30 min walk from Eastlands stadium where we were to see Take That. Highly recommend the pub next door (The Retro) which opens at 9am for excellent breakfasts! MY only criticism of the hotel is that they put me on floor 3 which is in effect the ground floor - not good practice for women travelling alone. Convenient location. Obviously student area. Breakfast expensive so did not try it.

A very small room considering how much we paid, reasonably comfortable bed, room was clean. I'm sure there is better in the centre of manchester for the money. A disturbed night of sleep as some lads walked throught the coridor at 4am and shouted at the top of their voices - though can't really blame the hotel for this!

I would recommend this hotel to travellers who want comfort in a good location for a reasonable price.I can find no fault with the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was very clean and the room, although a bit on the small side for two people, was very clean and comfortable.I couldnt fault the breakfast, there was a choice […] of full irish or continental, it was all self service and the staff were welcoming and helpful. This hotel is def a standout in the Days Hotel chain. It is spotless, the staff is great, and the location is ideal. The rooms are compact but well laid out with everything you need. GREAT LOCATION TO WALK TO THE CITY FROM, PARKING OK IF YOU DRIVE A MICROCAR ALTHOUGTH WE DID FIND SOMEWHERE TO PARK OUR GERMAN TANK, THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY IF YOUR NOT EXPECTING A CASTLE STYLE ROOM, IT WAS CLEAN, TIDY, WELL DECORATED AND HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. WE ENJOYED IT.

We booked this hotel room at a 50% discount rate which was excellent value. The service from Reception and when I requested more towels was fantastic. The hotel and the room was clean. tidy and look really nice. I must say if we paid full price I would have liked a bath in the bathroom, but that is just my personal preference. This is an excellent affordable option downtown Manchester, within easy walking distance from Piccadilly station. Very clean and comfortable, no hassle, will stay at Days Hotel again.

Everything was like we expected, good service and rooms, nice breakfast (for just ~6GBP) and friendly atmosphere. I would recommend!

This hotel was great and everything that we expected. This is the second time we have stayed in the hotel and the service and room were good both times. The rooms are small but well designed and functional so are perfect if you are staying for a couple of nights and just need somewhere to sleep. Nice location. Only drawback was that you could hear the neighbours and outside traffick very well. The neighbours weren't loud, but they stayed up talking all night. We could almost hear everything, had we understood the language!

Got a real bargain from hotels.com and were apprehensive about the quality of the hotel as a result of the cheapness. However, we were delighted with everything about our stay. Check in was efficient and friendly; our room was small but spotless and very comfortable and the location couldn't have suited us better. We will definitely return.
