We, a family from Denmark stayed on the hotel for 4 days. Very nice and clean hotel. Very helpfuld receptionist and a very sweet lady in the breakfast restaurant... Godt hotel. Beligende i gåafstand til Hollywood Boulevard.

Hotellet ligger i gå afstand til Hollywood blvd. Værelset var stort og i rigtig flot stand typisk US style . Vi kan helt sikkert anbefale stedet til andre, vi havde nogen gode dage der.

Hotellets beliggenhed er rigtigt god i forhold til Hollywood boulevard, Chinese hteatre osv. Morgenmaden er omfattende og rigelig.

Good location, close to Hollywood Bowl, good service, nice rooms, pretty clean, beds are kinda lumpy.

The Good: We could walk to the Kodak Theater and the Walk of Fame which includes movie theaters. Bed was comfortable. Buffet food was good (typical). The Bad: The buffet layout was bad. There was one person maintaining it and she couldn't get to the food etc without fighting passed the people going the other way. Once I was trying to get a fork as she […] was refilling items in that area. When I reached past her to get a fork she gave me a dirty look. Need someone more willing to put up with others to work there, but can't blame her due to the layout. Other issue, the bathroom door would not lock. My wife tried to set the alarm clock, but the volume was turned off, yet it beeped about once an hour for most of the night. On the second night this did not happen after I noticed the volume issue. The worst is that you cannot make a left turn into the parking garage without being an aggressive driver due to all the traffic. The street was very busy, but with the windows closed we could not hear except for a couple sirens. I make it sound bad, but it was a good place. Fantastic location 5mins walk from Hollywood&Highland Centre and the Walk of Fame. Hotel staff were very helpful, room was large, bed was comfy, hotel was very clean. for the price i payed i expected the suite to be a little bigger, kind of small the picture on the web sitee makes it look bigger than what it is.

Excellent hotel - clean and modern and walking distance to all major attractions. Staff was very friendly and I would definately stay here again.

Great location-near all the major sights

5 mins walk and you're on the walk of fame and other attractions such as kodak theater, chinese theater, etc. Hotel includes breakfast, nothing fancy but good start for the day and room is quite big, we had a suite room but actually the regular room would of been big enough for my family of 4 as well. This is the second time we have stayed here. The staff are very helpful. The hotel is close enough to everything you need only 5 minute walk to the walk of fame. Would stay here again.

Great location, handy to Hollywood. Breakfast a plus. Smooth check in and out, friendly staff. Valet parking (additional charge) was efficent, no hassles. No complaints. February 2012.

We stayed here for 4 nights..close to Hollywood Bld and Hollywood Bowl...good location. Room was clean, quiet..a bit small for 4 people but we were out and about most of the time. Were able to check in early after a long flight which was appreciated. Good stay.

Convenient location but parking should be free.

Our room on 5th floor was really humid as soon as we stepped in. The beds covers and pillows were damp it wasn't really comfortable to sleep. Noise noise noise... The ice machine on fifth floor is incredibly noisy. If you are not a deep sleeper, it will wake you up many times throughout the night. The mini fridge in the room is an old one and it wakes […] up to noisy run of wasting some electricity while not cooling anything inside. Next to this hotel, between Best Western, there's a construction area. The noises start at 5am in the morning. Rolling pipes, metal crashes, construction workers shouting, you can even hear radio static noise because it's happening right next to your room's window. Heavy machinery will happy start working at 7am and here's your diesel powered 1000 horse power alarm clock. According to hotel personnel many rooms are joining rooms. The door between them do not provide much noise isolation. Holiday Inn is favorite among families traveling with many children and on a budget. You are guaranteed to hear a shouting mom, fighting brothers and sisters over who gets to shower first and unjustifiably loud sports channel or LA celebrity gossip channel. Breakfast is served on the 4th floor. Given the number of rooms and guest capacity of this hotel, the size of breakfast area is seriously insufficient. You need to show up definitely not later than 8am to be able to sit and have your breakfast. (Breakfast is between 6:00–9:30am) If you are sensitive to noise, I will definitely not recommend this establishment. Læs mere

Good hotel, great location, front desk staff efficient & attentive - but the breakfast is a disaster. One small dining room with insufficient tables & chairs. Everyone came down together. Only one member of staff around. She tried her best to be helpful.

Don't let the name Holliday Inn scare you away. My boyfriend and i stayed at this hotel over the new year weekend and it was amazing. The staffs were super friendly, checking in was quick, the room was huge for the price. It was right by the Kodak theater. The super market right across the street. Perfect location and a nice child friendly hotel.

The whole family had a very good experience. The receptionist (MIcaela) was very helpful and accommodating. The place is conveniently located in hollywood, two blocks away from the walk of fame and few minutes drive from Universal studios...They serve decent continental breakfast, and the parking, although you pay $22/day was very convenient (I thought […] it's all worth it). Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great. And very kid friendly. The only thing that I didnt like it that we had to pay for parking. I felt that should have been included in the price of the hotel. but other then that the hotel was great.

We as a family could not fault this hotel. The location was great, walking distance to tourist attractions. We asked for an upgrade and the hotel did everything they could to assist us. This was a very nice hotel, the room was clean, modern,and big enough for 3 people. The location is perfect you are just a couple of blocks away from the walk of fame and all the tourist shops and restaraunts.

First of all, this hotel has friendly service and clean. As 4 to 5 stars hotel, I would have expected some should-be. 1. Ridiculous towel damage fee If you use towel to wipe off cosmetic make-up or anything like that; it will cost you arm and leg. Have to ask my wife to wash off any marking on towel. Everything was great about it, perfect location 3 min walk to kodak theater (center of hollywood blv). A great place to start exploring from. The only drawback which isnway i gave the comfort of room 3 , is that the wifi isnt deteted in the room although they r saying there is wifi. Great Location Near The Walk Of Fame.. Friendly and Helpful Staff .... Overall Great Stay...

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It is clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly, and the breakfast was totally fine. It's a short walk from all the touristy sights in Hollywood. Minor drawbacks were that if you're on the 6th floor or higher, you have to take 2 different elevators that are a long hallway apart. Excellent service and location

If you are visiting Hollywood...the hotel is close and in walking distance to all of the sites: Kodak Theatre; Grauman's Chinese; shops; restaurants; etc. The hotel is clean, comfortable and quite. Friendly, courteous staff.

We stayed here for 4 night and had a hard time getting to sleep because the walls were so thin that we could hear everything. The service was pretty average as well to be honest, we felt that they really didn't care to help with any of our questions. very happy with hotel. first day we arrived after a long flight we were told that it may be two hours before we could get into our room. it was 12.30pm. we waited too tired to do much in sitting area and then within 20 min the room was ready. we really appreciated getting into room and collapsing on the bed for a couple of hours. room was comfortable. […] liked having a fridge in room. good room with computers that allowed one to print off needed info breakfast offered healthy choices - skim mik, decaf coffee, yoghurt, bananas, all bran as well as other things. wider choice of fresh fruits would have been good late check out of 12 midday great on last day hotel within very easy walking distance to walk of fame etc. maybe if i had been a single female walking home late at night i may have felt a little worried as one has to walk past car park/empty lot for a short distance, virtually opposite hotel was a convenience store and subway staff welcoming and pleasant Læs mere

The hotel and every single one of the people that work here were great! Friendly, helpful and kind! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The only minor issue is getting into and out of the hotel by car.....but have patience and it all works out. Thank you to everyone who made our trip to Cali so memorable.

We recently spent 5 days at this location. We were very satisified with our stay. The hotel was very neat and well maintained. I don't think that we encountered one employee that did not speak to us as we passed in the hall. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was an added convenience. Great location, clean hotel just be aware that i paid for a room with a seperate little kitchen area/microwave etc and did not get what i paid for. We got given a smaller room so make sure you get what you paid for.
