Was afraid this was not the right choice of hotel after reading some of the reviews. But I can honestly say, that this is a very nice hotel, the service was good, the rooms clean, and yes, you do have to pay for valet parking, but you always do in 4 and 5 stars hotels.

We have stayed at a lot of hotels I US and this is absolutely one of the best. Charming atmosphere, clean and spacey suites with well equipped kitchenette. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is a few minutes’ walk from the historic district. During our stay it was easy to find a free self parking lot around the hotel.

"SCARY part of town, but great for the price."
I worried a little when the lobby was locked to the public, and there was a security guard (locked inside). Sirens all night, and a really scary place (I go to NYC a lot, and that's nothing compared to this). But...the desk clerk went out of her way to help me find a restaurant that was open late, and both she an the guard helped me find it. It was […] REALLY CHEAP and had everything we needed. It was dirty found pills.. Old clothes a notebook that was dated for nov 1 2011 which means it was left in the drawer for 2 MONTHS ! FOUND PILLS IN THE AIRCONDITIONER THE ROOM WAS FILTHY AND NEXT DOOR THEY WERE SMOKING WEED NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STAY ITS GROSS!

The hotel receptionist was not very friendly, never smiled. The room was not clean, was not vacuumed at all. "Awful Hotel!"
We expected a low budget hotel to have the bare necessities, but this one sank to an all time low. Broken light fixtures exposed bare bulbs (that doesn't even comply with building code regulations), sheets with stains on them (we knew our sheets had been changed when the stains moved) and not getting the daily house keeping services that were promised. […] You know you're in a bad area when the front desk needs an armed security guard on duty and there were never more than 10 cars in the parking lot. Clearly many other people had already figured out this was a bad place to stay. Just 1/4 mile down the road is an In-Town Suites, another inexpensive extended stay hotel, that was full of cars and seemed to be very well kept. That will be our choice next time. Læs mere

Filthy, smelly and uncomfortable. Changed rooms and new one just as bad. This motel needs more than refurbishing-it needs demolishing.

If you don't care about where you lay your head at night then this place is ok. The rooms need a complete overhaul. The rooms are moderately clean. I wish the rooms were cleaner. The staff is friendly & helpful. The location is convenient & the price was cheap.

The hotel in Savannah, GA, needs lots of repairs especially in the bathtub. Also, beds were very uncomfortable & one had a covering that smelled terrible. The staff were very friendly, but the motel is not very presentable. The price was great. I really expected more for my money. PS. the continental breakfast was yuk!!

All rooms on floor were Non-Smoking but apparently no one observes policy nor does hotel management enforce policy. Room smelled horrible!!
"Very close to the downtown area"
This hotel may not be 5 star quality, but it is one of the friendliest places I have ever stayed! My husband and I always manage to stay here when we go to Savannah. It's only about 4 miles to the downtown area and is good for the low price. Next year when I go to Savannah, I know where I will stay!
The area arround the hotel was horrible and the hallway in the building we stayed in smelted like tuna fish and fart. The room looked clean except for the bathroom which had scum on the tub, pieces of hair on the toilet, and the toilet would not flush
"Dangerous and Awful"
We checked in and left within 20 seconds. The major reason is that it was dangerous and smelled of cheap weed. I wouldn't stay there if I were being paid.

Even though it says Savannah, it was in Garden City. Which is a VERY sketchy city, and actually the cops circled the parking lot of this hotel nightly. The staff was not very helpful, she made us wait til 3:01 pm on the dot to check into the room and assist us. The room was not pleasant, there were severe stains on the mattresses and walls, and door […] for that matter. Scary stains, which were a strange red color, (I wish I could upload the pictures!) The shower pressure was horrid, it felt like someone had a plant-waterfeed sprinkling on me. The housekeeping came and started cleaning, and "didn't notice" that I was in the shower, showering until I walked out of the bathroom in a towel to ask her kindly to leave the room! "Good for short trips"
We stopped here for obe night en route to Florida. It was good for a place to crash one night and refresh for the second part of our drive. We did ask for a smoking room and did not get it, but it was clean.
"No Coffee, Bad Scent, Rugs filthy"
It would have been nice to have at least a coffee maker in the room. We had to go to the office, then it has no lids to cover your coffee, so by the time I made it to my room half my coffee was on me and the ground! Bathroom needs complete overhaul - sink in lab won't let water run out - beds not the best - light shines under door - big crack. Key wouldn't fit - twice I went to clerk who came to the room with a new key. Back door to motel lock broken - no security there.

This was very ran down and nasty no cover plates on the electric outlets ,carpet was stained and nasty not just spots every where ,shower faucets were very loose no water pressure at all ,a/c. Was very old iron and off all nite beds were very old ..this was a very old dump!!!!

The staff is very pleasant and helpfull. If you want a clean, quiet and basic hotel, you get good value for your money. No restaurant at the hotel, but cafeterias in the vicinity. A little far away from the city center, but taxa service is efficient..

The hotel is right where I grew up, I the location was great. When I checked in the office was clean. Once I got into the room I was confused. The carpet was nasty and one bed was hard the other was soft. The bathroom was a mess. The microwave was nasty it smelled like crap as did the fridge. Sheet were clean, but no mattress covers and there were glarring stains on both box springs. Scared to think what the mattresses were like. Office was locked up at 11PM - had to do business through a little slot. Sure made me feel secure.
"List of How to Stay Safe"
Inside our room, which was so dirty it didn't look like they owned a vacuum, was a card telling us how to be safe in our room. Little unsettling for us! Never again will I stay here.

The convenience of the Masters Inn to Savannah was great, and the room was fine with a very comfortable bed. The Masters Inn served us well as a quick stay on our way to Florida with a short stop in Savannah to take in a few sights.

The hotel was nice overall. It's a spread of buildings, which is odd, and the clerk that checked us in gave us no real direction as to how to find our room. We did find it just fine though. The room was comfortable. Not luxurious, but it satisfied our needs. The cost to value ratio of Masters Inn is very good.

I was scared when i park the car opp the pool. People were smoking and drinking on the pool. and the area like the smoking area. The non smoking building were full of smoke smell. Thanks god it was only one night.

This hotel was absolutely filthy. The box spring/mattress was stained (reddish/brown). The bathroom and shower were disgusting. I would never stay at this hotel again.
"Close to Historic Savannah about the only plus"
Not a very comfy cozy place to stay (and myself and my daughter were there one night). The carpeting was kind of gross and it also seemed like there was some remodeling going on in the building so there was a heavy chemical smell.
