Loved every moment - could not ask for anything better - staff, facilities, location all fantastic - only regret we were only there for one night. Will return.

My husband and i stayed here for our anniversary. The hotel itself is beautifully contructed. When we checked in, we were offered a glass of sparkling wine each which was a nice touch. The front desk staff brought us to our room and explained a few things to us...like how to operate the fireplace, heating,ect. We loved the jacuzzi tub and the fact that […] there was some nice bath salts, soap, chapsticks,cookies,ect that where complimentary and where all products from their spa.Our only complaint in the room was that the mattress had a zipped up protector on it that felt like you where sleeping on plastic...somewhat uncomfortable. Pillows could have been a little fluffier too. Other then that we injoyed our room. Unfortunately I can not recommend the restuarants at the hotel. My husband ate the halibut and I had the salmon dish...both where VERY dry. Later we had mussles at their pub and was very fishy tasting..not much flavor at all. Very expensive food and poor quality. We ordered room service for breakfast the following morning...breakfast was pretty good....although they forgot our pot of coffee, cream, butter and ketchup so we had to call them back to our room...no discount for their mishap. I would recommend eating elsewhere if you are staying at this hotel...although im not sure if there is much in the selection of restuarants that are decent out in Brentwood Bay. Do your research! We reserved a one bedroom suite with a hot tub on the balcony. Unfortunately the hot tub would not heat up which was very disappointing. Other then that we loved everything.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Brentwood Bay Resort for our one year dating anniversary and it was even more impressive than the website's pictures made it look. Our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. We had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony where we ate our breakfast. Although, we didn't get to enjoy the pool, it looked lovely. The […] staff were kind and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5/5 for every category is that staff entered our room, despite a do-not-disturb sign on the door, to collect dinner trays. We were so very happy with our stay at Brentwood Bay. We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the resort and surrounding sights. Clean, quiet and modern resort with lots of little extra appointments, great on site restaurant, and easy access to Victoria and Butchart Gardens. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. Small with a wonderful upscale restaurant and pub. Every room has a fireplace with an ocean view balcony. It's about a 15-20min. easy drive to Victoria and about 15 min to the airport. I wish we could have stayed longer

One of the best properties we have ever stayed at. Extremely attentive and professional staff; luxurious rooms; fantastic food; and clean and well-maintained facilities. We were impressed with the attention to detail, including free long distance calling within N. America; free wifi; reasonably priced mini-bar ($4.50 beer; $1.50 pop!!!); and a basket […] of fresh towels, etc. left outside the room when we left the "Do Not Disturb" sign on. It is not that far from Victoria downtown. It is nice and close to Butchart Gardens if you plan to visit the gardens. It is very very clean and quiet. The guest room is spacious and has a nice fireplace feature with easy start and timer. Bed is modern and super large and comfortable with very nice updated linens. TV is large and HD. Thought maybe it […] would be nice to have more cable or satellite movie channels but we were not in the room watching TV much. Bathroom is very nice with a super nice roomy tiled shower stall and large soaking jetted bathtub. Breakfast in the Seagrille each morning was perfect: you really should start your day with this excellent food, presentation, lovely waitresses and lovely view of the marina, bay and mountains. Staff was super nice, clean and friendly. Good parking. Nice patio off our 1st floor room overlooking the marina/bay. It is worth the price and the short drive. Wonderful relaxing retreat. Beautiful views from the balcony, jacuzzi with candles, flowers when you walk in the room, leather recliners in front of the gas fireplace.

I have traveled all over the world, and Brentwood Bay ranks with the nicest resorts I have visited, including amazing ones in Bali and Africa. My room was beautiful, peaceful and restful, with a stunning view from the wall of windows and its private porch of trees, water, and mountains. The room itself had a very comfortable king size bed, a rock-surrounded […] gas fireplace (which I lit in the evening and morning--it was cool even though it was May), candles and matches to light them, a huge TV (did not use it), a soaking/whirlpool tub with both privacy and views of the scenery, and large stall shower in the spacious bathroom. The room was equipped with spa amenities, including bath salts, huge towels, and robes; there also is a spa, but I did not have time to book an appointment there. There is a both a heated pool and hot tub outside, and a full marina. I dined in the restaurant, and had a meal that easily bested the finest restaurant I visited in Vancouver. There was a sushi bar also, and a pub. The staff was outstanding, and made sure I knew about all the amenities, including free phone calls to anywhere in North America. It was restful and restorative visit--well worth the usual price and a bargain at the Expedia special rate. The resort was minutes away from the famous Butchart Gardens. I think that anyone would enjoy a stay here, but it is particularly nice for couples, seniors, business travelers (or anyone) wanting a mini-vacation (me), or a ladies spa weekend. Læs mere

I have two kids, one is 2 months, another is a year and a half, and as stressful as they were on the trip, the hotel made everything as relaxing as possible. Then relaxing in the private hot tub was amazing, nothing beats its. Customer service could not have been better, very professional and kind.

We spent two days in a spectacular room with a direct sea view . I enjoyed everything in my trip and I certainly recommend it to all couples. The restaurant are a bit over priced buy the food quality was great. Overall I highly recommend this resort.

I was born & raised in victoria, and never had heard of the brentwood bay resort. I booked it for a weekend retreat with my girlfriend... it was perfect. I didn't know this kind of scenic getaway existed on the island. It's very similar to Tigh-na-mara.
