It was okay overall. The continental breakfast was disappointing, they don't even have milk or any brown sugar for coffee. The lobby is tiny so all guests need to bring their muffin back to their room to eat. Between holding the muffin one hand and coffee on the other, all guests were struggling to open the door safely. The room decor was adorable and the room itself was very spacious. Big closet and bathroom! The staff supplies you with a dog bed and biscuits. They ran out of beds, but brought our dog extra biscuits to compensate. =) Great place in PG!

Terrific location and best value you will find in the area. Just a couple blocks for the water and beach walk along the shore. We be back often! Perfect for dogs as well....

This is a wonderful little place in a beautiful community. Within walking distance to restaurants and the lighthouse and amazing coast. The desk people were so helpful in recommending restaurant. The room was so nice to drive the car right up to the front door. The room was so nicely furnished and the fridge, hot plate, dishes and microwave were a nice […] suprise. Although this lodge is on the outer side of the center of town it is close to the coast with stunning views. We only stayed one night since we were visting the Monterey Bay Aquarium I would stay at this hotel again.

This is a great place to stay and we have done so now for the past 2 years. Great location, good restaurants nearby and the people there are very friendly.

Bathroom door hinge came off bathroom door. When checking out, staff seems a little unfriendly and not personalable

Well maintained older motel with pleasing decor, and fully tiled shower (no tub) in the updated bath. Located in a quiet, mostly residential neighborhood, it is easily accessible to restaurants and shops of Pacific Grove - just what we wanted. Too chilly for swimming but we enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and a comfortable night.

My recent stay at Sea Breeze was a good one. I didn't know what to expect since I hadn't been the that area before. The location was great; a block from the most magnificent views of the ocean at any time but especially at sunset. Close to a cute but sleepy town but close to our destination, the Monterey Jazz Festival at the fairgrounds in Monterey. […] The rooms are average in decor and style and the bathroom could use a facelift and modernization. The showerhead was so low I had to do a backbend to wash my hair and the door came off the tracks but it was comfortable and suited our needs. Læs mere

Small, but comfortable room--nicely decorated. Friendly staff.

The staff is very friendly, and the room was very clean. They were also very attentive to my special needs which I told to a clerk on the phone the day before I was to arrive, and the message actually got put into the system and my needs were met. That's a huge plus for me. On the down side, there's no services like wake up calls. They provide alarm […] clocks, but, I apparently didn't set it right. Had it not been for the very loud vacuum cleaning and banging around by the maid in the room next door early that morning, I might have missed check out. The hotel was a short walk away from the centre of town and all restaurants and shops. Immaculately clean rooms and friendly service.

We stayed her July 9th and chose this hotel because they allowed dogs. Its more of what Id call a motel with log one story buildings. Our room was a single queen and it was tiny. The bathroom needs to be updated. Since we were not in the room much we were satisfied. It is located next to a yummy Asian restaurant and within walking distance to the lighthouse […] and beach. The Sea Breeze Lodge is located in a very quiet neighborhood in Pacific Grove but is only a few minutes away from Monterey. The room was very clean, and had all the amenities needed. As a FYI for those visiting this hotel is that the office is across the street at the Sea Breeze Inn and Cottages, a bit confusing for us being our first time.

Charming, well located, comfortable, clean, safe and reasonably priced. It's always a roll of the dice choosing a place to stay on line while on a road trip but the Sea Breeze had all the convenience of a motel with plenty of local character and charm. Delightful

My husband and I were in town for a conference at Asilomar and only stayed one night. This motel fit the bill perfectly. It was clean, pretty much updated, and in a great location. If you want location to all of the exhibits, golf courses, light house, shopping, theatre, and great restaurants this is the place! We only were in our room to clean up, sleep and get dressed. The best asian restaurant is across the street, An Choi. Loved their food and hospitality. You can get anywhere from the Sea Breeze.

It's great finding such a beautiful hotel in such a beautiful location that is dog-friendly. Highly recommended if you want your pooch to enjoy your getaway, too.

We made a last minute reservation to attend a burial at a near-by cemetery. The Sea Breeze lodge was adequate for our needs, allowed our pup to be there with us, and was reasonably priced. We got what we paid for - nothing plush or luxurious, but clean and certainly adequate.

My husband and I vacation in Monterey a couple times a year and usually stay on the Navy base. We decided not to do that this time and find somewhere in that same price range. Sea Breeze Lodge was within our budget and I was plesantly surprised at what we got for our money. It's very modernly decorated and very comfortable. It makes up for the smallness […] of the room. My husband and I love the quaint town of Pacific Grove. We stayed at the Sea Breeze Inn and Cottages for the first time and were very impressed with the lovely cottage we stayed in. The inn is located in a very quiet neighborhood and is very close to the ocean. They have a pool but we were most impressed with the cottage we stayed in. The price was kinda steep for the accomodations we had in this motel/lodge. We were happy when the receptionist told us that we just got upgraded to a king size bed. All our excitement evaporated when we got inside the room. We were booked across the street which we understood was also owned by SeaBreeze Lodge. The outside appearance was kinda shabby. […] We were disappointed with our room. The bathtub has a lot of scratches & dings - meaning, it was old & dingy looking. The bath tub needs to be change! The phone was not working very well we cannot make outside calls (Thank God for cell phones).There was no tv guide to check on the channels, there was a construction going on while we were taking a nap, no airconditioning unit but the room did have a "wall heater". We were thinking that because we booked this with Hotels.com & got a nice price, this is the kind of room they gave us. We will never stay here again nor would we recommend this motel to our friends. The room does not have a fan or AC unit. Windows can be left open, but since it is a one-story facility there is a security/safety risk. The rooms are too hot during the day and after returning from excursions.

Fancy room, fantastic location, but...the shower door didn't close and the shower had two temperatures - boiling or freezing. The internet didn't work "across the street" so be sure to ask if that's important to you. On the other hand, the people at the desk were nice and the location fantastic. The sea breeze in a really nice hotel and a good location. I only thing I did not realize is that they were SO dog friendly. Not that I don't like animals a I do and we have dogs, but in the next room was a couple with 2 dogs and every time someone moved they BARKED. That is the only negative thing I can say about our stay...

Friendly people, clean and cute room. Noisy neighbors. Cleaning crew needs to find some oil for their carts and a vacuum that doesn't sound like an airplane taking off! After all, aren't we there to rest? Good price though.

I was impressed of the pictures that was on Hotel.com and how great the price was. When we arrived that evening we were placed in a room specialized for the handicap. I thought that was cool since it maybe roomier because it has to be big enough for wheelchairs access. Well, the bathroom was huge but the room was small. And nothing look like the pictures […] we saw. The next day I asked to change room. However, it has to be an upgrade from queen to king because that was all they had available, which was another $12. When we moved to the new room, it was exactly what I saw in the pictures. I was relieved and was very impress. So for the price, it was well worth it. Make sure to request for a regular room if they assign you to a handicap one; it would be a lot better. Læs mere
