Hotel facilitet er ikke god. Hotelværelse er for lille og mangler stol og børne seng var slet ikke god ! Transport fra barcelona til hotelet er ikke god !

Dejligt hotel fint beliggende i Granollers, dog langt fra Barcelona centrum. Tager cirka 40 minutter med tog, hver gang man skal ind og kigge på barcelona city. Udover dette lille minus er hotellet super lækkert og rent og fantastisk service. Bedre service bliver svær at finde andre steder. Stor ros til personalet. I kælderen er der et fantastisk spa […] område, hvor man virkelig bare kan slappe af og nyde livet. Så alt i alt, hvis man ikke er bange for en togrejse, så vil jeg klart anbefale dette hotel. Aparthotel Athena Valles er centralt beliggende i forhold til såvel den skønne by Barcelona samt i forhold til forretningsbesøg i industriområderne nord for Barcelona. Hotellet er i fin stand med store værelser ( små lejligheder ), der er udstyret med køkken. This hotel is far away from Barcelona. Metro train does not go there so you have to take a train. By train it takes 30mins to reach Barcelona centre. Interior is old but clean. Rest all is just ok.

Highly recommended hotel. Very nice, clean, comfortable room with little kitchenette. Clean, warm bathroom with all the necessary things. There is supermarket and pharmacy near the hotel. This Hotel was an excellent base for my visit to the Catalunya race circuit for the Barcelona 24 hours. Could not comment on the Hotel food or the surrounding restaurants as I made the trip on my own and as such used the kitchenette to prepare my own food. The local beach is around a half hour drive and that had clean beaches and clear water on my visit, […] the old town is also very nice. I had checked previous comments regarding other peoples stay and it would seem as if the comments had been taken on board and rectified as far as I could see. The staff at Aparthotel Atenea Valles are just remarkable. They are extremely helpful. We were in a situation where we had to make urgent phone calls to the US during our check in and requested a phone to use. We informed them to add the phone charges to our room bill. Without second thoughts, Mark, at the front desk just handed us the reception desk […] phone and told us to make the calls and take care of our situation without having to think about the phone charges! It was a very pleasant experience. During our stay, the staff even helped us with parking the car in the garage. Cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. If you dont mind staying a little out of Barcelona (45 mins direct train) then this is a fab hotel. The staff are the best of any hotel I have ever stayed in and extremely helpful. Rooms are clean, fairly spacious and functional. Small kitchenette with two electrics ring and fridge. We stayed at this hotel in August 2012. We were 2 adults and a 4-year old. The room we were given could be separated into 2 sections for privacy and there was a little kitchen available, with a micro-wave and dish-washer. The hotel is also very conveniently located at walking distance from the train station (half hour to Barcelona) as well as the center […] of Ganollers - a cute small town with all kinds of shops etc nearby. I was not expecting the nicely spaced and decorated space that the hotel offered. The room was nice in size and decor, the restaurant offered tasety, with a variety of well prepared foods. A bonus was a high level of friendly, muliti-lingual staff. The entire experience was a pleasurable surprise including the reasonable price!!!

The staff were all very polite and helpful i had four children with me and this did not bother the staff in any way. The cleaners are very good they made sure everything was neat and tidy.

Prior to deciding to stay at the hotel Atenea i read reviews and made my decision strictly on the basis of the reviews. First, I was pleasantly surprised to have room cleaned daily (not typical for self-catering apartment hotels). The fact that there was 24hr frontdesk was great (better than french self-caterers). The hotel however is not what we north […] americans would consider 4-stars (3-stars max), but i am not complaining as the standard is what i expect of self-catering. Biggest caution: the neighbourhood is quite "seedy" - surrounding buildings are in poor state of repair, economically it is clearly a poor-to-working class area, streets are dirty - basically the neighbourhood is a bit ghetto-ish. Having said that: there was no safety issues, i went out late at nights and felt perfectly safe, people are friendly and i am not suggesting the neighbourhood is dangerous - just that it is a bit of an eyesore. Had i not visited other parts of barcelona, i would not have been willing to return to barcelona as a first time visitor. overall the hotel is decent value, i recommend it, but would advise the hotel to STOP holding itself out as 4-star - this is clearly a self-appointed star rating which undermines the credibility of the hotel. it should simply market itself as a top notched self-catering facility with a great hotel-like value proposition - namely decent pricing, daily room service and onsite restaurant. It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is clean, and the staff is professional and friendly. It is a bit far from Barcelona, but a 30 min trip by train will get you there. I definitively recommend this hotel for everybody who wants to pay less for good quality.

We were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful and free breakfast buffet. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We were spending a couple days in Barcelona on our way from Paris to Valencia. The car parking was free and it was an easy 25 minute drive into Barcelona. Very spacious living room plus a bedroom with a dividing wall. Pros: 1. Its located 10 minutes from the Gronellers Train Station with regular stops to Barcelona City Center PG. de Gracia. Its about a 32 minute train ride to the city center. Cons: 1. When I arrived the hotel staff gave me a double room when I purchased a family room. They told me that since I put 2 adults they gave me that room and that they make […] room selections based off of occupant numbers not room type. They told me that I would have to take it up with Hotels.com before they would fix the situation. I explained to them that I paid alot more for a family room and wanted what I paid for and reserved. I argued with the receptionist for 10 minutes before they agreed to give me the room that I paid for. 2. The room was filthy. There was trash left over from the previous occupant. The ceilings had mold. The shower curtains were so thin that water was spraying through when I took a shower. 3. I would not go here during the busy times as parking is almost impossible and the garage provided is narrow. Unless you have a small car I wouldnt park in their garage. 4. The breakfast is worth going to if its included in the price of your room. Other than that I wouldnt pay what they were asking. 5. If you want to be near Barcelona but visit other places too then this hotel might be a good choice, as it's near a busy railway station from which you can go to Barcelona, Girona, Figueres. (To go NW to Vic etc. then you need the other station in Granollers). Granollers has a nice centre but is otherwise nothing to write home about. The hotel is OK […] - it's a pretty standard, clean, medium-sized 4 star, with helpful staff and serving decent food, but it's not special. The surroundings aren't great although, as I went with a family, we appreciated the (municipal) childrens playground outside the main entrance, but it's seen better days. For the 3 of us we got two single beds which, when pushed together, gave us a large double - but it was made up as two singles. Hi, The lobby, breakfast and staff were amazing. But then the room was disappointing all except for the bathroom. Bathroom was nice, large and clean except for the ceiling which was cork board. This is probably the best holiday hotel we have ever been to. It's easy to find - from Granollers Centro train station, walk down the Passeg de Colom (opposite the station) - the hotel is on the right-hand side and has a sandy area with a basketball net outside it (takes about 5 minutes from the station). The hotel is immaculate and the staff are exceedingly […] helpful and polite. The breakfast offering was super - lots of choice and everything very fresh. We also ate dinner twice at the hotel, and the food was lovely and very reasonably priced. The only suggestion I'd make regarding the hotel is to ask for a room at the opposite side from the basketball area that is at the front of the hotel, as local children sometimes play until the early hours of the morning and it can be disturbing. It's only a 40-minute train journey from Granollers to Barcelona, and the trains run every 30 minutes. They are inexpensive, clean and air-conditioned, and the journey is very pleasant. Very nice hotel. Don't be put off that is outside Barcelona itself, the train that is half hourly takes you straight into the centre of Barcelona! Granollers itself is very nice and i am glad we got to visit not just Barcelona but this town as well. 5 minutes walk is "Little Square" that has 3 great cafes. Hotel could nit have been nicer, a quick copy […] of your passport, room key given and thats all they ask of you. Tout ce qui concerne l'accueil de l'hôtel est vraiment qualitatif, personnel disponible et avenant. Deux bémols : les murs en papier donc on entend très bien les voisins!!! Le restaurant, une arnaque!

Muy bien pero al llegar a recepción me informan que tenemos que pagar 0,99€ por persona por los impiuesos de hospedaje que hay que pagar para la generalitat. Yo pensaba que esto ya lo había pagado no es mucho dinero pero toca los weps.

A4 hotell, 30 min med bil eller tog til sentrum. Et meget godt og rimelig alternativ når du ikke vil bo midt i storbyen Barcelona. KJøkken på rommet, men alt kjøkkenutstyr manglet. God frokost, men ikke verdens beste kokk på restaurantkjøkkenet. Hyggelig betjening, Sparsommelig, men ok lite spa i kjelleren. Bra trimrom. Elendig tv på rommet.

Ich bin hier für 3 Nächte während meines Barcelona Besuchs geblieben. Sehr freundlicher Service, sehr gut ausgestattetes zimmer - ein gutes 4 Sterne Hotel zum Preis eines 2 Sterne Hotels! Die Lage ist gut (der Bahnhof ist zu Fuss erreichbar, die Gegend ruhig und angenehm), es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten - ich werde das Hotel sicher weiterempfehlen!
