Grasmere House Hotel - Salisbury

Dejlig beliggenhed tæt på byen. Flotte løberuter tæt på, især turen rundt om byen og ind til den virkelig flotte katredral (som BØR opleves). Hotellet ligger helt unikt, med stor dejlig græsplæne ned til en å og udsigt til katredralen. Hotellet bliver ofte brugt til bryllupper, hvilket omgivelserne også præger præg af (læs: positivt). Vi fik lidt […] træls, snoppet og ligegyldig betjening. Især da vi spurgte til at spise i deres restaurant. Virkede meget ligeglade. Lidt ærgeligt, da næsten alt andet var super. Morgenmaden burde være blevet serveret i deres flotte udsigts restaurant, men vi blev alle spist af, i en lille havestue - uden udsigt. Ret synd de ikke udnytter deres fantastiske facilitetter. Generelt set, vil vi virkelig gerne anbefale hotellet til andre, og vil helt selv komme tilbage hvis vi er i området. Ps. Iigger kun 20 min. fra Stonge Henge. V.h. At a great location, just outside the town but within easy walking distance. The room and service were very good, and the view across the river to the Cathedral was stupendous.

Very pleasant hotel backing onto river with views across to Salisbury cathederal. Friendly welcoming staff and comfortable room. Onsite parking and within walking distance of Salisbury town centre.

I booked this B&B for it's proximity to my aunt's home nearby. I needed a handicapped/ accessible room and was not disappointed one bit. Aside from being reasonably priced, the grounds have a great view of the cathedral and have idyllic surroundings. The room was comfortable with seemingly new high-thread count sheets with a duvet/down comforter on […] top. The breakfast buffet was decent with hot sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, cereals, yogurt along with the usual tea or coffee. Some items could be cooked on request like kippers, although we didn't take advantage of that. This is a great little place and less than a 5 minute taxi ride from the train station. Wish I was there to see the spring flowers along the river at the edge of the property. Læs mere

Amazing food, really good. Recommend to all how want try real taste. We have premium room and was comfortable and quiet. But cleaning should be done in higher standard. Overall B+

We stayed here en route to an early morning appointment and we were greeted on our late arrival, had a lovely room (albeit cold at first, but easily fixed by the helpful staff), tea and coffee in our room, comfy bed and great bathroom facilities esp useful as my son has a disability. Very friendly, clean hotel and only 10-15 minutes walk from the Cathedral and shops. Beautiful views from the rear and a view of the Cathedral in the distance. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again if I was visiting the area.

It's all good: Nice, friendly staff. Great views and very close to Salisbury Cathedral. Super quiet. Excellent buffet breakfast (included). Lovely paintings and decor throughout (locally themed) Car park very adequate.

at first concerned that it was far from the train station but was actually very close to the town sites. hotel is beautiful, grounds nice with avon river at back. restauraunt expensive but good. helpful and friendly staff. highly recommended

Close enough to Salisbury if you have a car, this place is shop-worn with very uncomfortable mattresses, a double room in which there was scarcely room to turn around and a bathroom without a surface to put things on or hang up towels. Absolutely adorable, inside and out. Beautiful setting and grounds - very picturesque. Our room was quite comfortable with extra touches such as a heated towel rack in the bath, and victorian decor. We had an excellent lunch in the conservatory restaurant. The staff was helpful, there is free parking and a short walk to the cathedral.

The Hotels has a beautiful back patio, the furniture, is a bit old, the bed like a hammock, but what i didn't like at all is the control remote, so disgusting at least they can clean it every 5 year, the TV is pretty old but that doesn't mean that they can't clean the control remote. Breakfast is amazing but internet to expensive.

At 3 stars, I didn't expect this hotel to offer more than the basics but I was delighted by very high levels of service from the attentive, pleasant members of staff, and very pleased with the room which lead out onto the terrace. My companion Jasper (five years old and very furry) was very well catered for and greeted warmly by the staff. The food […] was excellent - free newspapers - extra pillows - adjustable radiator in bedroom - dog-friendly bar area and lounge (overhead lighting a little dim - could have done with more table-lamps but that's a small gripe really) - I couldn't really fault this little gem. Salisbury is terrric. Tons of unique shops. Hotel is a good walk from town center but lovely locale

The hotel setting is beautiful and the staff were very hospitable. We booked the family room - we were told the room could accommodate 4 people - it really can't. It was incredibly cramped, like being in summer camp and should really only accommodate 2 people. The dining room is fine for breakfast, go somewhere else for dinner. well the view is great for this hotel but thats it.my wife did not sleep allnight long between the dust making her sneeze,and the bed spring poking her.the night we arrived we decided to eat in their restaurant because she was tired after driving allday.the salad was brown ,soups were canned and thats as far as we made it before we gave up on dinner.would […] never go here again . Das Zentrum ist vom Grasmere House Hotel bequem zu Fuss zu erreichen. Die Umgebung des Hotels ist sehr schön. Es liegt direkt an einem kleinen Fluss und ein grosser Garten gehört ebenfalls zum Hotel. Vor dem Hotel sind ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Zimmer sind sauber und sehr gross, zum Teil sogar […] mit Balkon und Aussicht auf den Garten am Fluss und weiter hinten die Kathedrale. Allerdings sind die Zimmer sehr altmodisch eingerichtet. Das Bad ist gross und sauber (Badewanne vorhanden). Das Frühstück war gut und man wurde freundlich bedient. Wir können das Hotel weiterempfehlen. Læs mere

Goed hotel, in onze ogen "echt" Engels, vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt ook prima!
