Hotel Monte Carmelo - Sevilla

Booked on the recommendation of a friend and did not disappoint. Twin room booked on room only basis so I can not comment on the cuisine. Clean room with a rather dark aspect as it overlooked an internal courtyard. That said the staff were very helpful and the hotel is ideally suited to explore old Seville (max 15 min walk away). I managed to park in […] the hotel's underground car park and this was really handy as street parking is at a premium in Seville! Excellent Tapas Bar about 50m from the hotel that was busy with locals even on a Wednesday evening. All in all this was a good value hotel that made exploring old Seville a stress free pleasure. Very happy with the hotel. Stayed on a room only basis so cannot comment on food. It is ideally located for exploring the old town, yet it is in a semi residential area with plenty of local shops/eateries. The decor is a bit 1980's but please do not be put off by that. Parking is available in the basement (ask at reception for the access door to be […] opened). The drive into the basement is quite tight. Two observations: Our room did not have tea/coffee making facilities and you have to ask at Reception for an iron/ironing board if needed. Læs mere

A very pleasant stay, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms comfortable and well equipped. The buffet breakfast excellent. The location ideal, situated in a quiet residential area and only ten minutes easy walk to the centre. Will certainly stay again. My wife and I stayed Saturday & Sunday nights in July.It is around 15mins walk from Centre, 10mins from Calle Betis area and Tapas Bars. We were room only, Staff were pleasant, Room was clean with Good bathroom. Shops are close by, we felt comfortable in this area. Will definately return.

We stayed here 2 nights and were pleased that the hotel had parking (for an additional charge, like every other hotel in Spain). The doorman parked our car for us. They also offered free Wifi, which was important for us. The staff spoke some English and provided us with a map with all the sights marked. The location was okay--you had to walk across […] the river to the major sights, but it wasn't very far. There were restaurants and a shopping area on the same side of the river, which helped. We would have liked more help finding a suitable restaurant. When we asked, the desk clerk sent us to the restaurants along the river, which are very touristy, and not that great. The hotel was great, the front desk was very helpful. My only complaint was the location. There are so many more hotels closer to the sights. It only adds about 7 minutes walking, but when youve walked all day or want to drop something off, that can be a deciding factor. They do have wifi, but I found most hotels and cafes do. This hotel is located in a wonderful neighborhood within easy walking distance of tourist attractions. As of 10/09 this neighborhood was going through major road and sidewalk renovations. When completed this area will be so convenient for experiencing the local life on the outside of tourist attractions. Grocery, resturants and shopping right around […] the corner. Hôtel très agréable pour un petit séjour à Séville. Le personnel est très accueillant et les petits déjeuners bien fournis. Comme beaucoup d’hôtels de ce type, l'insonorisation n'est pas excellente mais le quartier est plutôt calme.

L'hotel est situé sur une petite rue tranquille dans le quartier plutôt calme de los Remedios. Il faut environ une dizaine de minutes pour rejoindre le centre à pied (petite rue piétonne ainsi qu'un pont à traverser) et entre 15 et 20 min pour rejoindre la station El Cid (station pour le navette EA pour l'aéroport). hotel molto pulito ed abbastanza centrale, personale gentilissimo e colazione eccelente. L'unica pecca è stata la mia camera che si affacciava in un cortile angusto e deprimente.

Hotel in buone condizioni,tre stelle con colazione da 4 stelle,posizione abbastanza buona 5 min dal centro città.Camere pulite ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo staff gentile. Quartiere tranquillo e carino.

cet hôtel est une très bonne affaire. chambre propre, suffisamment spacieuse, salle de bain parfaite et couchage de qualité. buffet de petit déjeuner complet et servi jusque 11h situé dans la triana, de l'autre côté du fleuve par rapport au centre, à peine 10 minutes à pied vous permettront de rejoindre la puerta de Jerez et le centre ville. son positionnement […] permet de profiter à fond de la vie du centre ville et de se retrouver au calme pour la nuit. Nice hotel, god location and friendly staff. Grei standard, sentral beliggenhet og vennlig betjening. Jeg benytter gjerne hotellet igjen, ved neste tur til Sevilla.

Bon hotel très bien situé dans un quartier résidentiel et toutefois commercant, à quelques minutes du centre ville. Personnel très serviable et souriant. Excellent Buffet petit dej ; chambre spacieuse. Points à améliorer : isolation phonique et pas de chaine tv française lors du séjour.

Accueil aimable. Chambres bien équipées et confortables. Situtation de l'hôtel agréable, en dehors de la cohue du centre et à distance raisonnable à pieds. Le quartier était malheureusement en chantier, la rue barrée et le parking (une des raisons de notre choix) inaccessible. Le bémol : manque de charme, tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur.
