Flot hotel, venligt personale, men da sengen i dobbeltværelset var virkelig dårlig, er jeg i tvivl om jeg kan anbefale det for andre. En mindre ting er, at parkering for bilen er særdeles dyr og man til regningen herfor tillægger 8%. Det er muligvis moms, men virker besynderligt, at det ikke er inkl. Hotellet bør købe nye senge.

Beliggenhed er fantastisk for turister, meget larm på torvet (udendørs koncert) men det er at forvente med et hotel der ligger så centralt. Det eneste hotellet kunne gøre bedre var at receptionspersonalet kunne have udvist større interesse i os som gæster. Der var ingen smil og særlig hjælpsomhed derfra. Et ellers godt ophold.

Great location to walled city if you do not wish to stay in the old city but lacked decent restaurant and the beds were like sleeping on rocks. If I went back would probably stay at the EME Fusion or the Alfonso XIII.

I loved the hotel, great condition luxury hotel and they treated us like royalty. The location is perfect for sightseeing and good for sleeping. the room was superb, excellent value for money, although they had internet in the rooms wiht a cable, the wifi was available in the lobby and common areas and they made up for it in the superb room they gave […] us. hard to beat this location, plus it has onsite parking for a reasonable rate (if you are driving and want to stay in the 'center' like we did, it's really hard to find a good hotel with parking-- actually almost impossibe). the hotel is in excellent condition, the rooms are super big for euro standards, overall hard to beat this price/location/quality! […] do it! The best location!

Bookings easy with hotels.com. Location was known beforehand. Room was comfortable and well maintained/serviced. Television channels were extremely limited-four and no Andalucian channel and complete absence of sports channels. Otherwise it was as we expected.

Very good location-- blocks from the Cathedral and the Juderia section. It is also the end of the line of the Tram. Easy way to get there on public transportation. Our room was large and very clean.

The Inglaterra is an old hotel that has been beautifully renovated and decorated. It sits on an attractive plaza with many trees laden with oranges and lemons. Very helpful staff. great location for walking to all attactions, lots of bars cafes close,shops also near, reception staff not very welcoming or helpfull but it would not stop us gooing back , we enjoyed our stay and Seville is one of the best cities we have visited.

Great location, old hotel, could do with complete overhaul

We had a room on the top floor with a balcony that looked right over the cathedral and the park. It was fabulous, what an amazing place to stay and experience Seville. Highly recommend it.

Being used to small rooms in Europe, the Inglaterra Hotel was a very welcome surprise. We were given an upgrade (without requesting it) and the room was very spacious with a charming living room area. The bathroom was also very comfortable. The only con was that the wireless internet was down but we were offered a able if we wanted to connect a laptop. […] Location was excellent. Hotel and staff were great and the room was beautiful! My only complaint was that the water pressure in the shower was very low and it was leaking out of the sides.

I chose this hotel because it had wireless Internet. When I checked in, I was told "oh, the Internet has been down for weeks," but they did give me a cable to hook into the the Web. Not ideal, but not a big deal. Unfortunately, the Web crashed every 15 minutes, and I constantly had to go down to the front desk to get them to reboot the router. My husband, daughter and I stayed at the Inglaterra Hotel on Plaza Nueva in Seville this past March. The hotel itself is conveniently situated facing one of the main squares in Seville witht the added convenience of having the tram line ending right beside it. Upon check-in we were upgraded to the most charming suite I have ever been lucky enough to […] stay in. While the accomodations could not have been better, my favorite part was having windows which opened out onto the square. It really allowed you to feel the local flavor any time of day! I can't speak to any of the other hotel facilities as we didn't use any of them. If you are visiting Seville, I urge you to consider staying here. Just be sure you request a room facing the square. I should mention; however, that the square can be noisy at time. I loved the liveliness, but did close the windows when it got to be too much. Læs mere

The hotel staff upgraded my room the junior suite without my request, and he helped my a lot so that I could check my bus timetable and flight schedule. The room was great and the bathroom was clean. But, I didn't like their breakfast, it was too Spanish. My companion liked it though. The location was great, it took less than 5 minutes to the Cated […] ral. Læs mere

The Ingleterra hotel was in an excellent location, though a little difficult to find at first. It was within walking distance to many of the main tourist sites, also the tram terminal was outside the hotel. I would definately return to the same hotel in the future

If you want to be within walking distance to everything in the center of historical Seville, this is the hotel to be in. It is situated in front of the square (Plaza Nueva) and is surrounded by stores, bars and restaurants in every direction. It's five minutes walk to the cathedral and the Alcazar. It's about an eight minute walk to Plaza de Toro and […] the Rio Guadalquivir. Although the streets of old Sevile is a labyrinth of narrow cobble stone roads, it seems like they all lead to the main square in front of the hotel. There are some drawbacks though. If you're in Seville to enjoy some "peace and quiet" then I would recommend that you take a room that doesn't face the street. The revelers can get pretty loud at night even during the week. Other than that, the Inglaterra Hotel met most of my expectations and exceeded the rest. I would readily return to this hotel again whenever we visit Seville in the future. Læs mere

Beautiful hallways and decor, Very nice room. Staff was ok, but not spectacularly friendly. For touring Sevilla, location is great. Lots of outside noise until after midnight.

This hotel is in Plaza Nueva which is not far from restaurants, nightlife and the must see attractions such as the Cathedral. I would recommend this hotel just for the location. The hotel was nice with friendly staff and the room was clean and very cute. Our window opened up to the plaza and we had a spectacular view.

We loved this hotel. Our room was spacious (especially by EU standards) - good bathroom, sitting area and balconey with a great view of the Cathedral - overall very pleasant. The location cannot be beat in Seville. RIght next to Plaza Nueva, within five minutes of many main attractions. The staff was very pleasant. We were very happy with the hotel. As we only had one night we did not sample the restaurant or the bar so cannot comment - though the restaurant looks good but rather pricey. The hotel was completely gutted and remodelled around 2006-7, hence the mix of other guests comments. It has been very well done, the rooms are beautifully decorated. Air conditioning […] and plumbing work. The only badly done work is the flooring in the bedrooms which has been done with a cheap laminate material which is already disintigrating leaving a rough uncomforable finish with some nasty edges. The hotel is in an excellent location, we did not suffer at all from any noise as some other guests have reported. The one-way system made initially getting to the hotel by car somewhat confusing because our sat-nav had several streets showing the trafic flow in the reverse direction. We have been to Seville many times, the first time in this hotel but we intend to use it again. Læs mere

Inglaterra is a fantastic hotel in a great location. It has a beautiful interior, loads of amenities, and a fantastic staff. The only criticism is that our bed was rock hard with equally stiff pillows. We didn't get much sleep as a result. That said, we'd return to the hotel because of the location, but we would ask to see the bed first! :)

This hotel was fantastic--the room was elegant and spacious, the staff very professional and friendly, and the location superb for seeing Seville. It was relatively easy to locate and has parking--making it conveniently accessed. We did a loop of cities in Andalusia, staying in hotels in each--this was one of the best.

The hotel is very nice and beautifully decorated. The location is great and in walking distance to historic sites. We requested a non smoking room but was given a smoking room, on top of that when we saw the sign in the elevator labeling our floor as smoking floor and asked the check in manager, the manager lied to us and told us that this an old sign. […] The room had a sign that the smoking was allowed. We arrived to the hotel late at night and the service was great. The hotel is also in a great location next to most areas of interest and restaurants and shops. Overall this is a really great hotel. If you come by car they have a parking garage with valet parking.

The staff was not the friendliest, but accommodating. Although spacious, the room we got was next to a night club! Even if they had given us a room on the other side we would have been subject to the noise from the Plaza Nueva. Despite 2 sleelpless nights the location was great - everything was in walking distance ... sights, shopping and restaurants. […] I do not recommend getting the room with breakfast. A superb classic hotel in a very convenient location. There is always some noise in Sevilla when in the center of the city, but this hotel with its black out blinds and air conditioning was very comfortable.

The staff always wanted to practice their English even though I'm fluent in Spanish, so that provided a few amusing language tutoring moments. It's a beautifully maintained older hotel with everything you could ask for, and if it isn't there, just ask!

Beutiful rooms. Well maintained hotel. Excellent location. The front desk attendant was not very helpful. Do not use the breakfast buffet -- it is unnecessarily expensive.

Hotel was in a terrific location on a beautiful square. Rooms were beautifully redone and had excellent views of the square. Staff spoke very little English and weren't able to make any suggestions for restaurants or other activities. No map was provided, etc. But we were quite well versed with the area so getting around was not a problem. The hotel […] seemed more geared toward local business travelers. Læs mere

We stayed at two hotels during our stay in Sevilla: One was a less centrally-located hotel that my husband's business conference was being held at, and when the conference was over, we moved to the Inglaterra, and I'm glad we did. The first hotel was great for conferences, but in walking proximity to nothing. The Inglaterra was ideally located. The […] staff was extremely polite and helpful. They were happy to speak either English or Spanish with us, and were very patient. The rooms were gorgeous. I was a little uneasy about the extreme firmness of the mattresses, but we slept very comfortably on them. We were awakened a couple times by very noisy (and talkative!) garbage men in the middle of each night as they collected what sounded like ten metric tons of glass, but in fairness, that comes with any hotel located in the middle of all the action. My husband did pay for 24 hours of wifi, but I was unable to log on from my computer, and he was having issues getting on due to "capacity" problems. I did, however, find an unsecured wifi network called "default" through which I was able to access the internet without problems for the duration of our three-day stay. We didn't eat at the hotel's restaurant, but we did make their bar the final stop of our bar-hopping for two of the three nights we stayed. It was a little odd seeing a perfect replica of an "Irish Pub" staffed by and full of Spaniards, but the service was impeccable and it was a nice way to end the night. Læs mere

Encontramos un hotel remodelado hace pocos años, con buenos servicios y en una ubicación inmejorable: proximo a la Catedral, la Giralda, el Barrio de Santa Cruz, con una terminal del Tranvia a la puerta, un entorno edilicio y comercial excepcionales.Tienes de todo al alcance de la mano y hay restaurantes y negocios para todos los gustos y presupuesto.- […] Recomendable en todo sentido, tal vez tendrían que dotar a las habitaciones de Wifi -porque solo tienes internet en zonas de la planta baja (que incluye el uso gratuito de una pc e impresora, si la necesitas).- Læs mere

Sentralt beliggenhet til alt og klassisk,litt gammeldags hotell. men som navnet sier veldig engelsk. Hyggelige ,men litt reserverte medarbeidere.Knotete kjøring til og fra hotellet pga enveiskjøringer.Godt med GPS. Bra frokost!!

Les plus: on peut difficilement faire plus central, qui plus est avec parking. Quand on ferme les yeux, les chambres sont confortables. C'est tout. Les moins: Accueil glacial et attitude hautaine de la part du personnel de la réception, quel que soit l'employé. Le décor de l'hôtel, des parties communes aux chambres va au-delà du mauvais goût et peut […] donner des nausées.
