Riviera Beach Resort - South Yarmouth

Meget velegnet til børnefamilier med dejlig strand og pool-område. Vi havde et dejligt stort værelse, dog med madresser i 2 Queensize beds, der tilsyneladende var godt slidte og kun 180 cm lange. Det er ikke helt nok til dagens høje mennesker.

Nice quality hotel, nice quality people, and right on a private beach. We traveled off season- the weather in early October couldn't be more pleasant. Though we could have paid twice as much to have rooms that opened RIGHT ON THE BEACH, we opted for less and was surprised and pleased that we were about three doors down from the beach, and the patio […] opened to a lovely grassy area adjacent to the pool, and about 15 or 20 feet from where the sand actually began. Later in the week we were told that the buses would arrive- one stop on a very busy agenda, and we met some lovely people from the midwest who would have less than 24 hours at this gorgeous locale. (poor them- it was the highlight of our trip) before their bus took off again. Very lovely and well done. Not super high end, though very groomed and refined in decor and class of people. Can't wait for opportunity to go back. The rooms were not newly modeled or upscale, but pleasant and clean, with a large fridge and internet access. Pools indoor and out were heated, however only downside was that they closed at dusk, so after a busy day, I didn't have the opportunity to relax and soothe the overworked muscles. that's my only complaint. The hotel's location on the cape was great. Easy to get to other locations. The beach was very clean and had plenty of beach chairs to use. The pool was very nice, too. We had requested a king room, but none were available when we arrived. But they did let us change rooms mid way through our stay, and the king room right on the beach was very nice. […] It was a bit more updated than the double room we originally were in. We went in Sept. and the hotel didn't always have lunch/dinner, sometimes you had to go next door to the sister hotel. Dinner closed early-8pm. Pools could have been heated more. Sliding door to balcony with ocean view was extremely difficult to open and close. Clean, right on the beach, quiet. Great ice cream store reccommended by your sight- the  […] creamery. Læs mere

Do something about the beach flies(commercial blue light). The pool should be open 7am -11pm, the light didn't work ate jacuzzi area.Jacuzzi water was dirty full sand. Do a bonfire on the beach? Do a BBQ night on the beach?

This hotel is on a beautiful spot on the beach. The pools and the grounds are immaculate, and the rooms are large, but cozy. However, the pub was closed, and the restaurant was only open for breakfast, which was a little inconvenient. This is a great spot for families to swim and to play on the beach.

Stayed in 1st floor Ocean Front. It was excellent, walked right of Patio from lounge chairs right to ocean. Patio was great to get up early and enjoy your first cup of coffee looking at the ocean.

The buildings and the furnishings are older and the feeling is more like a motel than a "resort". The towels were tiny and paper thin. The beach was lovely, however, which saved the entire experience.

Good . The room i orignally was suppose to have was not cleaned.it was a mess. and it was not ready. I was angry So they upgraded my room to a better view and private balcony.

This hotel was in a great location, friendly staff and good pool area. Great place to take your toddler kids. Beach was clean, had toys for kids in the beach. Loved the place We stayed for 3 nights..our kid's nap time was during the afternoon for couple of hours so we used privacy please tags. No room service to clean up was provided later in the afternoon. […] room service left a bag of supplies in front of the door. This happened all 3 days (4th day was our check out). the hotel is on the beach which was just great.the pools are great beach was very clean.i had two kids of ages 9 and 6 and they had a blast.the rooms were also very clean.the lady at the check in was very polite and also upgraded us to the ocean facing rooms.

The air conditioner in the room was awful, did not work good at all. We had a view of the beach but are room was the only room on the ground floor without a staircase off the patio which was really annoying with a 1 year old going to and from the beach. My girlfriend and I stayed at the Riviera for three nights August 21-Aug 24. We had a great experience at the Riviera. The check-in process was very simple, we arrived early, around noon, while the room wasn't ready, not did we expect it to be, they made us feel very welcomed and said they would get us "all set up" so we could get right out to the beach […] and pool. We had brought along our beach chairs, towels, etc.. LEAVE YOURS AT HOME! This place has everything you could need for a beach vacation. Nice, clean chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, sand toys for the kids. The pool area at the Riviera was more family friendly. The pool was clean, they had a splash pad and pool area about 4 feet deep. The BlueWater, next door and part of the Red Jacket group had a great pool, and poolside bar as well. We opted for the Blue Water's pool over the Riviera because it had a deeper end 8ft and were a few less children. The beach was cleaned nightly and I went out to see the sun rise a couple of days. Just right for what we were looking for - a comfortable, clean, casual place on the beach. Very friendly staff. The rooms could use some updating - they're still stuck in the 70s but no complaints about cleanliness, etc.

More suitable for families with kids. Very good private sandy beach with free towels, chairs and umbrellas. No cofee maker in the room, but they have free cofee by the front desk. We couldn't have asked for a nicer family vacation. My child loved the kids club and all of the swimming opportunities this resort had to offer. The beach was well groomed with plenty of chairs and umbrellas available. The downside was that our room was dated, furniture from your grandmother's house in florida. We had a great time. Our kids joined kids club and loved it! The only problem was the air conditioner was not very good( old). So it never got really cold. Staff was always pleasant and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. We had a little trouble with the TV and they gave us comp tickets for breakfast and diner. There was no need to go anywhere else. You must have the mussel appetizer at the Blue Water. It was out of this world. We can't wait to go back next year.

Location great, staff friendly and helpful, room very clean. Only issue: the doors on the slider to the deck and the shower door were old and worn and were hard to open and close. The shower door came off the track every time it was opened. They should be replaced. A small thing, but a pain in the neck for a fairly expensive hotel room.

My family enjoyed our stay here very much, would definitely recommend to others. Enjoyed getting up early to see the sunrise! So convenient to have the beach right outside our door. Loved the ocean front room!

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel. Why did I think it would change? If your goal is a private beach, it's OK, but the rooms were so old! We payed the exact same price at another hotel off beach that was AMAZING with many more FREE activities for the kids. The rooms are dingy and need serious updating. The breakfast at the restaurant […] was terrible and super overpriced. The people RIGHT next to us were loud and hung outside on our shared terrace like monkeys. So disappointed for the money spent. Do not eat breakfast at the restaurant on the property! Horrible service and wait staff was worse than I've ever had before! Otherwise, my stay was great. The best part is there is a 'sister' hotel right next door with an additional pool, beach, and beachside bar- also a even bigger 'sister' hotel down the road with water sports and tennis court. Front desk service could be more friendly. The beachside bar service was not good at all. The menu stated you get a veggie burger with lettuce & tomato. We waited a good 1/2 hr. b/c the clown at the grill gave our order to someone else. And when we finally got our food there was NO lettuce & tomato and no apology for the wait. There were not a lot of […] people there so I don't know why it took so long to make. That was our first day there. We never went back & don't feel bad about not tipping the guy. The hotel room was dated but satisfactory. I think this place is best for families. The beach is nice, although we didn't go in the ocean b/c it didn't look too inviting w/all the seaweed. We pretty much stayed at the pool. The view is nice of the ocean. So, if you don't mind a dated looking room w/peeling wallpaper and bad service at the beach you can have a nice time here just relaxing and eating at the restaurants nearby. This was the better vacation of my life. The hotel staff is very attentive, friendly, and pleasant. They make me feel special. Also, the beach was beautiful and the water was warm. Unbelieveble !!!! In addition, inside and outside pool was wonderful but the jacuzzi was the BEST!!!

I was very pleased with our stay - beautiful hotel and grounds. Hotel staff was friendly and pleasant. Loved being so close to the ocean! Only had two small issues during our stay: First issue - our room was not ready on day we arrived so we didn't get in the room until after 4 pm. But on the day we checked out I was not allowed late checkout because […] it was the week before the 4th of July. I really didn't think that was fair based on the fact that our room wasn't ready when we first arrived. Second issue was the internet connection was very bad - couldn't stay connected more than a few moments before it disconnected. I did work with the tech support people but it never got resolved. My two daughters, my mom and I stayed for 3 nights. The location was fabulous and the resort had good amenities and was well cared for. The room was clean and quiet with a nice balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. There were daily activities for the kids which were all included in the price. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. It had many amenities, and the location on the beach was fantastic. However, I think the prices for the summer are a bit high. The resort rooms could use some updating.
