Fin beliggenhed. Meget lydt, tynde vægge! Morgenmaden skal tilkøbes, er billig men også rimelig basic.

Da vi ankom til hotellet, blev vi mødt af en ekstrem uvenlig mand (Cesar) i receptionen, som var yderst utilfreds med at blive afbrudt midt i en fodboldkamp på TV. Vi havde bestilt superior-værelse, hvilket vi gjorde ham opmærksom på, og hvis det virkelig var et superior værelse vi fik, vil vi nødigt se standard-værelserne. Vor udsigt var direkte ind […] i en mur (mindre end 1 m fra vinduet), badeværelset er meget slidt og dermed umuligt at gøre ordentligt rent, der var ingen safetybox, og det mest groteske var, at det var de absolut to dyreste nætter på vor 14 dage lange ferie. På forespørgsel om hvor vi kunne parkere, blev vi henvist til et offentligt P-hus, hvilket var OK - han glemte bare at fortælle, at det kostede 90$ for to dage. I begyndelsen af ferien boede vi på et ArtDeco Hotel (Park Central) på Ocean Drive, som var betydeligt bedre, billigere og mere servicemindet, og hvor parkering i offentligt P-hus kunne gøres for 16$ om dagen. Fint hotel, men ikke prangende. Værelset var ok og rent og pænt, men en smule gammelt. Rimelig god beliggenhed. 2.række til stranden og tæt på shopping gade.

Da vi ankom til hotellet, måtte vi bede om nyt værelse, da sengen ikke var ren. Vi fik nyt, der var bedre, men ikke godt nok. Flere ting var slidt/virkede ikke og de virkede ikke særlig interesserede i at løse problemerne. Alt i alt trængte det til en opjustering. Men beliggenheden var perfekt. Dejlig central til alt ting.

We loved the location. It was walking distance to everything. Only issue was we needed a refrigerator. Staff were very helpful and willing give directions and tips on where to eat a.d enjoy the night life.

My experience was POOR. I cried 10 mins i to check-in because the Front Desk staff was so rude and incompetent. I wont write a book but the restrooms were dated, minimal furniture, no supplies, etc.. They dont even change yojr sheets daily. Id gotten red lipstick on the sheets the night before and came back to the bed made red smeared all over. There […] was also mold in the shower. I was not happy to find out there was no parking and had to lug all my suit cases 2 blocks, our A/C in the room was not working. When asked to change rooms the staff at the front desk could care less. I had to insist that we get another room because she made us feel like we just had to deal with it. She basically was like there is nothing I can do. […] I had to insist again, and finally she was able to get another room. I paid for 1 Superior, One King Bed and had to down size and paid the same. Your staff is very rude and no personality at all. I've never been in a hotel that the staff was so cold and unprofessional. I've been treated better by other hotels. Your staff seemed like they hated their jobs. I will never book a room here again. It's worth spending the extra money at SLS where you are treated with courtesy and respect. Læs mere

STAY AWAY FROM THIS POOR SERVICE HOTEL........We checked into the room around 4pm and the AC was off and we tried to turn it on, however it would not work. I immediately went to the front desk to complain and have it repaired or move to another room. The bathroom was littered with long black hair on the floor, shower floor and shower walls. We had to […] lay towels on floor due to the dirtiness of the floors. The room floor had not been vacuumed either as it had bits of trash scattered around. We left for dinner at 6pm and they promised the AC would be running and the room would be cleaned. We returned at 10pm and no AC and the room never was cleaned. They told us they were booked and no other rooms available. Their was no concern for our stay. Try sleeping I a 80 plus degree room that the windows will not open. Next day same lack of response, asked for the Manager and he never contacted us. Again next evening AC still not working, however they finally agreed to move us at 7pm to another room. Which they just gave us a key and did not and would not help move our luggage. Worst customer service hotel I have ever stayed at, I travel in excess of 50 nights a year and never had such poor service. Stay away, their better service else where. I have called 6-8 times since returning from my trip to complain to the manager or owner and no one will take the call or return my call. The location of hotel is good. Parking is a problem. Room is clean, but nothing inside, except a TV. We even need to go out to buy a coffee maker to get hot water. We stay for 5 nights, but the service person doesn't replace small shampoo bottle. We could only use for one time.

Some pros for this hotel - location is close to South Beach main area but not too close to suffer from noise, nice external decor, opposite nice park area and the Bass Museum. Lots of cons though mainly relating to the room which was stark. There was a 2mtr high wall only 1 mtr from our window which blocked all daylight. We couldn't see what the weather […] was like outside because we couldn't see the sky. Bedside lights didn't work despite requests for repair making the room even more dingy. Bathroom was old with dirty tiles. The shower was ancient and produced only a dribble yet remarkable managed to deposit a good quantity of water over the bathroom floor. In general: The hotel was 0.k, it's well located very close to the beach, however the room needs maintenance like: Paint, replace that old carpet and the bath tub was stained.

This is a cute little hotel on 21st st and Collins a block from the beach. Rooms are average size and sparsely and simply decorated - updating in progress. Retro 50's bathroom fixtures and tiles give it fun character. My room looked over the garden which was a cute little oasis from the crazy. The hotel staff overall was friendlier than usual. The front […] desk clerk Bergi(?) was exceptional - able to easily accomodate when a problem arose. While there is no gym on site - there is a discounted day rate and David Barton (a block away) $16.50 - worth it. Lincoln rd is a 10 minute walk. Lummus Park is 20 minutes. I would easily stay here again for the price. Some upgrades to the room that would be nice might be a small fridge, micro or coffee pot. The hotel is in a great location. If all you need is a bed for the night, this is a great place. No amenities, no glassware, no coffee pot in rooms. Can buy coffee in the lobby cafe, however. Comfortable bed, nice staff.

Room and bathroom were nice although no full length mirror. The air conditioning wasn't that great.. The room felt sticky and muggy. The front desk was not very welcoming when I arrived. The hotel is well located across the street from a wonderful art museum and park that is well worth visiting. Most of the cafe and front desk staff were wonderful however I did call a few days before I arrived to ask about parking. I had not been to Miami Beach before and did not know how difficult parking was. I was told the hotel had no parking and […] although there was a nearby garage, the hotel staff had no idea how much it cost. It would been helpful to have information at that point and not the annoyed attitude I received. I lived in South beach for years and chose this hotel because of its location to the best of South Beach. The staff was very accommodating at every turn and the room was comfortable, clean, large and modern. Much better then anything you will find on the Collins or Washington main drag. I would definitely stay again.

We arrived early, around 11 a.m. having just got off a cruise ship and asked for our luggage to be stored as it wasn't check-in time yet. We arranged a tour and let the hotel know we wouldn't be back for 4 - 5 hrs. We returned around 6:30 p.m. and discovered our room had been given away! We were expecting a lot from the hotel, but I guess you get what you pay for. Pros: Location, Service, Rate Cons: Very small hotel, old property, no parking space (paid $30 per day in a nearby parking lot), rooms were very basic, no lock to in bathroom door, no microwave in the room

The actual hotel itself is nice enough. It was clean and fairly comfortable. It was within walking distance of everything on the strip - but far enough away that it was quiet at night. All the hotels in south beach are older and not very well appointed unless you're willing to spend twice as much money. Negatives are that the guy at the front desk is […] not very friendly. It felt like we were staying in a European hostel, not an American hotel. We had better luck with the lady at the front desk on our second night - she seemed to actually care that you had a good stay. Also, parking rates are unbelievable! We were overall satified with the hotel itself, but customer service was horrible! We liked that it was within walking distance of everything on South Beach, but not in the heart of the action so you could actually get some peace and quiet at night - plus it was close to Lincoln Street shopping and dining. The hotel was pretty basic but it was clean […] and comfortable. However, beware that although they say they have crib beds and you request one with your hotels.com booking it doesn't mean you will get one. Our first night we were told they only have two infant beds (pack n' plays) in the hotel and both were being used by the same room. We put up a fight since that was the biggest reason we chose this hotel and we had specifically reserved one - the guy at the front desk responded with "There's nothing I can do for you." No apologies, no effort to make things right... he couldn't have cared less! With a 12 month old kid who rolls off beds it left us with a bad night's sleep. We are avid vacation-ers and this hotel did not feel like an "American" hotel as far as amenities and customer service go. However, after walking around South Beach I don't think you could get anything much nicer without spending at least double the money. Læs mere

Very pretty hotel , in a fairly quiet neighborhood in neat area , a little bit of a hike to strip. Nice museum across the street, opens at Noon. Expensive parking on street on in garage.

Overall stay was just ok. Stayed near the courtyard and it was very noisy. The windows are paper thin. Constantly woke up throughout the night so lost sleep during the 2 days of staying there. I would recommend avoiding the courtyard area or bring ear plugs!

The hotel was nice, but no hotel parking and must pay to park in city parking lot, plus you must can only put in 9 hrs on the Pay&Go station....I guess that is normal for Miami Beach.....close walking distance to beach and some nice restaraunts.

The only problem we accounted was there is no soap dish in the shower stall. The shower and spray are perfect. We had to leave the soap on the shower stall floor while we cleaned. Other than that the hotel is very clean nice neighborhood quiet loved the entrance to the hotel. Over all..close to miami convention centre. Neighbourhood not the greatest...I would recommend staying further down south beach. Room was bare! No dresser (in closest) basically just a bed and a nit table. No art work...no security safe. Bring your own shower amenities for what they supply is terrible.

Bed Sheets were not changed, found lots of hair in the room and bed, washroom had no glass, basically no privacy in there, next day towels were not changed, no parking so don't try this one, with this price you should get something much better

This is a great hotel for those attending events @ the miami beach convention center. The conv ctr is a 4 minute walk away!! There's a parking garage right behind the hotel. Extremely convenient. And the price is very reasonable for the area. Great place!!

Very nice location, close to the beach, close to the major street (Collins Ave.), yet on a quiet street across from a park. Loved the king size plus, very comfortable bed. Very nice old style bathroom and very comfortable and quiet air conditioning. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast not free but sandwiches they prepared were very tasty and beautifully […] presented. No coffee in the room but it was available at the breakfast area early in the morning. Didn't like parking arrangements (none provided by the hotel). Didn't like the fact that the hotel wouldn't secure a parking spot for unloading or loading our car. Most of the time some car was parked in that location. The carpeting should be replaced, especially on stairs. The front yard of the hotel with beautiful palm trees looked impressive. While we enjoyed the hotel overall, the South Beach Hotel could certainly use some updates, starting with double-pane windows. We could hear everything that happened in the courtyard as though our windows were open. We could not hear any of our neighbors in the hotel, which is why I think it was just the old-time windows allowing the noise. No parking, no valet. You have to figure it out on your own. When I called I was told to go find a parking garage. Had to request additional towels and pillows. Ended up having to go down and stand at desk until the guy went to get them so I would leave. Shower was broken, had to take a shower in scalding water. Went to complain and the guy says he […] will send the repair person. This was before 9:00 am. Went out, came back at 11:00 and nothing had been done. Had maid come in and try to get it to work, she goes to report to the front desk, nothing happens. I go to front desk and complain again and the guy says it will be fixed. I go back out and come back at 3:00 pm, still nothing done. I tell the guy my daughter needs to shower before we meet family for dinner and then he decides to call the repair guy. I request a new room, he says NO, you can use the shower in a room that is being cleaned!!! Repair guy was very nice and fixed it in about an hour. I had to go sit in another room and wait while my daughter showered!!! That night the room connected to ours had at least four people in there partying ALL NIGHT LONG. Next morning the front desk man says I should have called them and they would have called the police. I thought that was a bit excessive and told him it was not their fault, it was the fact that the connecting door was cheap and not soundproofed, and besides after what happened with the shower, you probably wouldn't have cared.
