Et dejligt hotel,god beliggenhed i rimelig stille omgivelser, dog lidt beskidt i området

Venlig betjening og dejligt stort værelse - alt var ok.

Hyggelig hotell med nær beliggenhet til hovedtogstasjonen - lett for å komme seg til de andre belgiske byene og fra flyplass som er et stort pluss. Hotellets resepsjon var veldig hjelpsom og hyggelig. Hotelleiendommen er gammel med dets mangler i tette rør på badet. Det var mangel på håndkler i badet. Meget akseptabel hotell til prisen :-)

Et godt hotel i forhold til prisen og beliggenheden tæt på centrum af Bruxelles. Dog mindre ridser i lakken; en håndvask, hvor vandet ikke løber ud, og støj fra hotellets foyer, når andre gæster kommer hjem fra byturen (værelset lå i stueetagen, tæt på receptionen), men ellers glimrende.

Bortset fra, at hotellet ligger på grænsen til et stort indvandrerkvarter, så ligger det centralt i forhold til mange ting i Bruxelles. 6 - 700 meter fra togstation Zuid/Midi, hvorfra der er forbindelser til hele Belgien. Grand Place er et spændende center, omgivet af en voldsom mængde spisesteder af alle slags. Især om aftenen er tjenerne ret agressive, […] for at få én til at vælge netop deres restaurent, men ser man bort fra det, så er det rimelige priser og rimelig god mad de fleste steder. Det kan anbefales at tage en turistbus med rundvisning, også hvor mankan stige af og på efter behov. Der er tolkning på flere sprog, men de udleverede (nye) høre»bøffer« kan være svære at fastholde i stikket på sædet foran, da busserne skumpler lidt. Men man kommer fint rundt og ser de vigtigste ting. Mannekenpis er en figur der også kun ligger ca. 8 minutter fra hotellet, men figuren er kun ca. 50 cm høj, og lidt at snyde turister, lidt som havfruen på Langelinie i København, hvor man forventer en større skulptur. Til gengæld er der flere gode steder lige omkring, hvor man kan nyde kaffe/te og belgiske vafler eller vaffelis i rå mængder. Det er de altså ret gode til. Og gøres regnebrættet op, så var hotellet faktisk ret godt, men OK Continental Breakfast, og hurtig adgang til de spændende steder i Bruxelles. Som turist. Læs mere

I'm used to staying in the Grand Place, but this was only about a 10 minute walk from there. However, there's not much in the way of sights, so you'll need to go to the Grand Place or elsewhere if you're looking to be a tourist. There's only restaurants and regular stores in this area, nothing too interesting from a tourist point of view. The hotel […] itself was clean and the staff was very nice. I declined service to my room, but every day they dropped off a plastic bag of fresh towels and toilet paper at my door. The neighborhood is not great, but not too bad either. My room was clean, but you may want to bring your own travel hairdryer if you need one. The one provided was fixed to the wall, but not very well and seemed like it would fall any minute. It also was not very effective. But the room was quite large, and had a good TV. There was also a huge window. This hotel was fine, but had I acted a week earlier, I could have gotten a hotel in the middle of the Grand Place for the same price. I would recommend this hotel if you get a good price, but if it's only a few bucks more to stay at the Grand Place, you'd be better off there. Læs mere

This hotel made a good first impression. The room was clean and spacious. However, on a cold winter night (-5°C), the bedding and heating were inadequate, and the water was only tepid in the morning. No amount of friendliness at the front desk compensates for a lack of critical basics such as warmth and hot water.

Brilliant for a short stay in Brussells. 10 minutes walk from Midi train station and 10 minutes walk to Grand Place. Rooms are basic but very spacious for the price bracket. Definitely recommended.

Walking distance to central station and grand place. English speaking personnel. Worth the stay. Only drawback was that the fitness center was focused on cardio with no weigh set. (semi-heavy chairs in the room can be used instead =))

The location of the Hotel is fine (10 minutes walk from the Grand Place and 10 minutes on the other side you can reach Brussel-Midi train station). But keep in mind that this is probably the Arab district. The hotel is clean in general but the rooms are not comfy at all with some things that need to be fixed (e.g. shower tape is out of place). The hotel […] is rated as a 4 Stars hotel, which is not true, the rooms are very poor with no slippers, not a single picture was there. The hotel was clean, offered an excellent array of fresh and delicious options for breakfast, was really close to the main train station (Bruxelles Midi / Brussels Zuid), and I was with one other friend and our room was spacious and comfortable. All this at an incredibly low price! The surrounding neighbourhood wasn't perfect, but it was in a good location […] and it was easy to get into downtown with the metro/tram. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful--when we needed to print train tickets for Bruges and the main printer in the lobby was broken, they allowed us to e-mail reception and then printed the tickets for us. Definetly not a 4 star, and the surroundings of the hotel weren't the best, but all in all a good 3 star and nice people working there.

Great breakfast included in the price of the room. Free internet via lobby computer. Helpful staff . Walking distance to Grand Place.

The hotel was fine, the problem was that my ground floor room faced onto the street outside which is very noisy. The one thing that I want when travelling with work is a good nights sleep - I won't be back.

Only stayed one night but we were more than happy with the hotel. Great breakfast and included in the price (well, was for us). Bit of a walk to Midi railway station, but hotel is halfway between station and centre of town. Clean hotel, but Wi-Fi a bit expensive.

I do not wish to distract others from going to your hotel, so please review internally. Firstly, I must say that I really wanted to enjoy my stay, but it was probably the worst hotel I have stayed in in many years. I was given room 14 on arrival and there was no brochures on how to use the safe or what TV channels were available - the I found that the […] safe did not work, so they had to find a key. There is also no clock radio as stated, empty minibar ir a trouser press as advertised. When I returned in the evening, I discovered that further to the safe, the air conditioner did not work; there was no bath plug, so I could not bath and the hot water was only tepid (=legionella risk and makes your hotel a risk). - it was almost if they gave me a disused room. The next morning they moved me to a room where the air con and safe worked, but at night there is definatley a problem with your hot water availablity as it is only lukewarm at best - the morning is better. The other thing is that I expected tea and coffee in the rooms, so if one wanted some at night or morning - there is none. The last item I must say that I found strange for a 4 star hotel is that the only info they could give me on what is surrounding the hotel is a faintly copy of a road map, that was bearly legable where they indicated main shopping area. Rom is large for European hotel. Hotel is in good location, it is about 10 min walk from South station and about 15 min walk to center of the town. No Wifi. Breakfast is good. Wash basin sink was not draining, they fixed it next day. Taxi to airport expensive.

Nice quiet room, in fact we got a triple having payed for a double since they didn't have any twin bed doubles vacant. 5-10 minutes walk to Grande Place, 2 minutes walk to metro, some restaurants nearby. Standard breakfast for a 4 star hotel. The only downside was the neighbourhood: although we didn't have any problems, someone in the staff of the hotel […] told us that walking towards Midi Station was risky as there are some pickpocketers on that route, but the route to the center was safe. Nice spot to stay, halfway between grand place and Eurostar train. Clean large rooms. OK breakfast. Good value.

the hotel located about the center n u fill frindly hotel but the bed was not good its very old and the buffe in the breafast show bad not as seen in lot my tripes

Hotel Floris is convenient for the euro star and gettng to the centre of Brussels. It is also not far from the EU quarter by tram/metro. It is a well run hotel with helpful staff and the bedrooms are spacious and well equipped for the price. The buffet breakfast included was good.

very nice staff. they had Headache pills when the Pharmacy was closed. Nice & clean. Recommend warmly.

The main problem I had was the lack of facilities - even the cold water was hot, and given their was no bar, or even minibar, that meant drinking warm water. The internet access was ludicrously overpriced, and breakfast was fairly poor. Oh, and I had a single bed surrounded by a backrest and bedside lamps for a double, which meant M Hulot style acrobatics […] when trying to lean out of bed and turn the bedside lamp off. I stayed in five different hotels on this extended trip across Europe and the only one less satisfactory was a night in a hostel. Excellent, reasonably priced hotel in convenient location. Would stay again.

Not a four star experience. A good sized room and bathroom but the mattress was terribly soft and there were no tea and coffee facilities. The mini bar was empty and switched off. Buffet breakfast was adequate. Overall - over-priced.

I would definetly stay again, 2 minutes to metro, you can also walk to the midi train station. Quiet at night and great breakfast. Helpful check in people and very clean large room.

My room at this hotel was very spacious with a well equipped bathroom, with a bath as well as a shower. The hotel staff were helpful and the breakfast, included in the room rate, was fine. It is very near a metro with access in a couple of stops to the centre in one direction or gare du midi in the other. I walked from the hotel to the Sablon area […] and it only took about 15 minutes. Room condition was terrible. The sink and tub were clogged. There were stains of floor and bed sheets. Heat did not work. Phone did not work. Worst of all on they did not call (once phone was fixed) when we scheduled our wake-up call ... and as a result we missed the train. Staff was rude and unhelpful. Ideally situated half way between the Eurostar (Brussels Midi) station and the Grande Place - centre of Brussels. If you stay at this hotel you can avoid paying for taxis. The hotel is simple but clean; the rooms are large and the area is quiet at night. The breakfast buffet is very good.

Ha mégegyszer Brüsszelbe utazom, ugyanezt a szállodát választom. 10 perc sétára van a Midi pályaudvar és szintén 10 perc a Grote Mark. 3 perc a metró állomás. A szoba és a fürdőszoba tágas és kényelmes. Reggeli csodás! Rántotta, sült bacon, gyümölcs, joghurt, felvágottak, sajt stb. Személyzet kedves és udvarias. El trato del personal de recepción no es muy bueno, no tienen ni idea de español. Las habitaciones espaciosas, las camas dobles son 2 individuales pegadas, el primer día se rompió la pata de la cama, el secador del pelo no funcionaba, donde supuestamente tendría que haber un mini-bar no había nada, el mando de la tele no funcionaba, lo mejor la situación […] y el desayuno . toujours des pbls de tv, sinon le personnel de la reception est serviable. Le personnel du petit dej n'est pas très present et ne fait pas vraiment attention au buffet. On ne peut pas prendre de thè ou de café dans la journée.
