Bedroom with king bed was large and comfortable but although I have a firm tight-top mattress at home yours was excessively hard and I had a poor night's sleep. We paid a good price for King bed room for 1 night. However, non-smoking rooms should be non-smoking (as soon as we opened the door of our room - you could smell the smoke impregnated on the walls/curtains/carpet). Needs to be painted. Room was OK. The biggest problem was that we were on the same floor with a group of 20 year olds who kept going in […] and out of each others' rooms till the early hours... Great hotel for price (discounted rate promotion). Nice lobby, breakfast area, nice front desk girl on check-in. Nice room. Low lighting in shower/toilet area but ok by sink. Bed kinda hard but overall great hotel. Was surprised based on low price.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, walkable distance to convenient stores

If you care little about where you walk or sleep this is the place for you!!! I would not recommmend this hotel to anyone.

The Motel ist far away from the city. You walk 20 minutes to the train station. The price for the ticket was so high, that we drove with our car into the city

The hotel was very well and it was better than the rest of PA.

There was no finishing around the tub faucet or shower head; they were just hanging out of the tile. Also, while the hotel is non-smoking, this must be a recent change because our room had definitely been smoked in.

We wanted somewhere cheap to stay for a couple of days near Toronto. Hotel is pretty standard budget stuff, Continental Breakfast was pretty good (pastries, cereal and waffles). The hotel is a short drive from the GO station for travel into downtown Toronto. When we left the hotel we were halfway to NYC when we realized my wife had left her pillows […] behind. i booked my hotel through hotel.ca. I asked for a microwave and fridge in the room and i didnt now get them.

Good pricing and excellent location but little service. However, you can't ask for too much for this price.

All in all, our stay was alright. Breakfast was good - cereal, juice, coffee, oatmeal, toast...normal fare. The room wreaked like cigarette smoke...I think it used to be a smoking room. Very strong smell. The bathroom fixtures were all in need of caulking - faucets, toilet, everything was coming off the wall! Service was friendly, wireless worked fine […] and TV channels were good. The Ho Jo was a good deal for the money. The Staff was nice and friendly , but so were all the other people we met in Toronto. The continental breakfeast wasn't all that but with all the places to eat so close to the it wasn't a big deal. The hotels location is not very far from downtown Toronto, but with road closings and traffic it can take almost […] an hour to get there. How ever for the price, compared to hotels closer to Toronto it's worth, plus there are night clubs and bars 10 min from the hotel. I also enjoyed the ethnic diversity of Brampton. Læs mere

Incredible little hotel for the price. More in room conveniences than plug outlets. Even supplied mouthwash with the expected shampoo and conditioner, Room was a little cramped as was the parking. < 5 mins to Hi way 410. Everything you might need is within walking distance. Need a cheap place to crash close to Toronto? This is it.

I frequently visit Toronto for mixed personal/business reasons and my first priority is the price and then availability of a free parking and WiFi internet. You will get all of the above in this location, however I guarantee you won't enjoy your stay. I am not picky at all, but this place (Howard Johnson Toronto West) is below my acceptance. Every small […] detail like smell, some hair on the bed, look and feel... You can live with it but you as I said you won't enjoy it. The hotel is located in Brampton, and the most of the hotel guests are Indian or Pakistan families. This might be helpful info for visitors who is not familiar with the area. the hotel is dirty not friendly staff and very unhelpful staff.the elevator is so small can hardly hold four people with their luggage in it not good experience won't recommend to nobody to stay there.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It's located close to local shopping and dining and is a short drive or go bus commute to the heart of Toronto. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the hotel provides a continental breakfast every morning that has a great selection. Clean and quiet, cheaper than expected. Just opposite Go Bus Stop so it's convenient for transportation from the airport. Good enough but far from must-see sights

This is a nice hotel in a great location however there is a lot of areas that needs to be improved on. Utensils need to be available at all times to guests, the hotel did not smell very fresh, very funky and stuffy scent. I stayed in this hotel for one night. It was my first time to Toronto and I thought staying in Brampton would be a good, more affordable alternative for lodging. The surrounding area was okay. There was some construction in progress on the major street, which caused a lot of traffic. However, there are several places to eat near the hotel which was […] a big plus. Also a plus is that it is close to Toronto - a 20 to 30 minute drive. The hotel itself is also okay. There is an "inn" or annex attached to the hotel which I assume is leased on a weekly or monthly basis. This annex and the parking lot right in front of it (the lot behind the hotel) seemed unsafe - it is poorly lit and no security. The lobby has a pretty good appearance, though there is a hallway leading to the laundry room which always had the door opened - this cheapened the overall good appearance of the lobby. The room itself is okay. My room, with 2 queen beds, had a desk and its wireless internet connection was very convenient. The factor that made my stay unsatisfying was the fact that my toilet flushed very poorly. When I let the lobby attendant know, he acted as if he didn't know, and that was it - no apologies or any other type of remorse. The staff were not the friendliest. I asked the lobby attendant for nearby places to eat and he didn't really recommend anything, thus giving me the impression that he didn't want to help or he just didn't know. In addition, his overall attitude wasn't very hospitable. The continental breakfast is very poor, only a few items out and in very limited quantities. Læs mere

Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra service och fina rum. Vi gillade våffelmaskinen i frukostrummet där man kunde grädda sina egna stora våfflor.

pour le prix c'est quand même bien, la chambre est propre dans l'ensemble, la moquette etait déguelasse, pour le reste c'est pas mal bien.
