Hotellet ligger supergodt i Berlin. Tæt på alt og i et spændende kvarter med mange restauranter. Det er nemt at gå til seværdigheder. Fra Tegel Airport tager det under ½ time med taxa. Nemt til forretninger og oplevelser i Berling.

Morgenmaden er ikke værd at gå efter. Området er rigtig fedt, masser af lækre restauranter og der er ikke langt til nogle seværdigheder, U-bahn osv. Lækker lux følelse.

Behagelig hotelservice. Gode værelser! "U-bahn Oranienburger Tor" kan tages lige om hjørnet på Friedrichstrasse (hotellet ligger på Oranienburger-strasse). Husk en "transportbillet", der dækker de aktuelle dage. Købes på et kontor ved "S16" på hovedbanegården (mellemplan), hvor Turistkontoret også ligger (i gadeplan).

Beliggenhed god, værelset ok. Levede ikke op til beskrivelsen i forhold til `gratis morgenmad`, hvor vi med møje og besvær fik en pose med en sandwich og 1 clementin. Der var ikke som lovet gratis mineralvand på værelset, og de lovede toiletartikler bestod af en bade/hår shampoo af billigste kvalitet. Ingen bodylotion, balsam ol. Ikke 4 stjerner væ […] rd. Hotellet ligger ved siden af Tacheles, hvor der er koncerter og fester næsten hver dag, ikke bare fredag,lørdag. Det var umuligt at sove, man deler gård med Tacheles og de tager ingen hensyn. Ikke bare lidt støj men koncertlarm!

Perfekt beliggenhed og dejlige værelser!

Hotellet lever op til deres stjerner. En flink og hjælpsom reception som kunne hjælpe med alt hvad vi havde bruge for. Dejligt hotel i en perfekt beliggenhed i centrum af Berlin. Eneste minus - det stod at morgenmad var inkluderet i prisen hvilket den ikke var. God oplevelse og kan varmt anbefales

Vil helt sikkert bo der igen naeste gang jeg kommer til Berlin.

Det har været en dejlig oplevelse at besøge dette hotel. Selvom det koster penge at få bilen parkeret i deres P-kælder. Alt i alt vil vi gerne anbefale hotellet til andre. Vi kommer nok igen.

Kan anbefales til en tur hvor der skal ses på Berlin. Det ligger nemt i forhold til seværdigheder og transport - der er u-bahn og tram lige udenfor døren. Og gode spisesteder tæt på :-)

Hotellet ligger supercentralt. Værelserne er pæne og rene. Personalet meget venligt.

Vi besøgte Arcotel i Maj / Juni 2011. Arcotel ligger MEGET centralt på en sidegade til den berømte Friedrichstrasse. Hotellet var meget pænt og rent, og med en rigtig god cocktail bar / lounge, hvor man kunne slutte dagen af på behageligste vis. Derimod var sengene utroligt hårde og ubehagelige at ligge på. Faktisk, så fik vi ikke sovet ret meget […] de dage vi var der. Morgenmaden var efter vores mening ret kedelig. Det foregik i loungen og bestod af fire slags forsmurte bagels med lidt ost, agurk, skinke og miracel whip inden i. Der var kaffe / the og appelsinjuice til. That's it. Hotellet har vidst ikke eget køkken, så det kan nok ikke blive ret meget anderledes, men til prisen kan det altså fås noget bedre på andre hoteller i Berlin. Det er ihvert fald beskeden fra venner og kolleger, der har besøgt andre hoteller i byen. Personalet var vældig flinke og tøver ikke med at hjælpe en på vej til de forskellige seværdigheder. Rengøringen var i top og rengøringspersonalet gode til at smile og hilse på en. De dårlige senge og den kedelige morgenmad gør, at vi ikke vil anbefale hotellet til andre. Det er to meget vigtige parametre for os, når vi skal vælge hotel, så vores råd er at finde et andet i nærheden. Læs mere

We spend the easter here, perfect location, and super hotel. Supreme rooms can be recomended. Make sure to get a room with a street wiev. Two issues to work on, the quality of the beds could be better, unless we got a bed without cover madras, the other and most important issue is, that breakfast is a bagel, we expected a regular morning buffet. Dejligt og meget velbeliggende hotel. Hyggeligt og rart nærområde med masser af små cafeer og spisesteder. Der er gode transportmuligheder lige uden for døren. Der er rent og pænt og personalet er smilende og venlige.

Hotellet havde vi booket i forbindelse med Berlin Marathon 2010 - perfekt sted 1,5 km til startlinien og placeringen af hotellet var rigtig godt i Berlin generelt, gåafstand til det meste. super og rene værelser og meget flot betjening - vi kommer tilbage

Alt var super. Eneste anke er at madrasserne var alt for faste. Vi må bede om en ekstra dyne til at lægge oven på madrassen. Hotellet har en rigtig god cocktailbar

Centralt hotel med rigtig god service,men har du prøvet andre af kædens hoteller bliver du skuffet helt klart en lavere standard. Placeringen kompencerer dog for alt!!!

Kontrasten er stor mellem det veldesignet hotel og naboen Tacheles, men stemningen er begge steder god. Hotellet ligger med en U-bahnstation om hjørnet rigtig godt placeret. Også området hotellet ligger i er spændende med masser af gode cafeer og seværdigheder. After bad start where we were put into a room specifically designed for disabled travellers with shower only and we had had a request for room with bath confirmed, we were put in room 512. Very good room in size, quietness, and comfort. Easy walking and interesting sights in neighbourhood. Would certainly recommend this hotel .

Nice boutique hotel. Our room was a good size and it was well decorated. An apple for each of us everyday was a pleasant surprise. Located a short subway or tram ride to many sights in a tourist area. Would stay there again. Floor to ceiling windows if at front of hotel.

This hotel has no ammenities. It is basically a reception, a lift, and hotelrooms. As such, it needs to compensate with more comfortable rooms. The problem here is that this is not the case - and so the hotel is overpriced. The recommendation is to look for a better option - you can get a proper hotel for this price-level. The quality of the beds MUST […] be improved! Even if you like firm beds (and I do) the beds at this hotel are hard and basically uncomfortable. Great service and perfect location! However, only side note that is negative would be the wifi being only in public areas and not in the rooms - advertised not as clearly as this.

If you like an alternative art-culture then you will like this hotel.If you prefer more a classic feeling & n-hood then you probably won't

Visited this hotel for 5 nights. The Hotel is well located in the center of Berlin very close to the Metro. The stuff is very young and friendly. The complementary internet is a very big plus for this nice Hotel. I highly recommend it to everybody who wants to visit Berlin.

Great location, interesting architecture, great except that despite triple glazing couldn't sleep due to the thud, thud, thud of the bass from a neighbouring club night. Real shame. Love a rave as much as the next guy, but really tedious when a) next to hotel and b) having to get up at 6 am to get a flight. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.Staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed meals at resturaunt next door. Location suite us .Hotel very modern and clean

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel, rooms are small but clean. We took a room at the back of the hotel as the staff told us it was quieter. We had also requested a non-smoking room when we booked and had to pay extra when we checked in for a non-smoking room so that was a little disappointing. Very close to Museum Isle and a nice walk to Brandenburg […] Gate & Riechstag. We did take the u-bahn which is just around the corner from the hotel for anywhere that we were going that is a little further away. There is a 24 hour convenience type of store also by the u-bahn that we visited often for water and other treats. Couple of nice restaurants right across the street. Some "interesting" activity happening just a few buildings away from the hotel but we felt safe in the neighborhood. The hotel was exactly like the photos online and the location is great. Tons of restaurants on the street and central to everything by train or walking. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They were able to give us electrical adapters and wifi was free. The bartender made great drinks, even if they were a bit pricy. The rooms were on the small […] side but not uncomfortable. The only issue was the air conditioning was very week and we had to open the window, which meant letting in the noise. Also for some reason the sink is huge and a little awkward. Small but comfortable rooms. The area is full of young tourists but we couldn't hear them in the room. Nicely decorated, although the mattress and pillows were of lower quality. One oddity for american visitors is that while the toilet is behind closed doors, the shower and washroom are only separated from the bedroom by a sheer curtain. There is wired […] internet in the room and free wireless in the lobby. The takeaway breakfast is a tasty sandwich (either meat or cheese) and a piece of fruit. The coffee is okay, but there is a fantastic coffee place next door. Location is great. Just steps from the U-Bahn and a couple of blocks from Friedrichstrasse. This hotel is centrally located in the Mitte area which is close to most tourist attractions. There is a U-bahn and S-bahn station very close by (about a block to a block and a half away). The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us with maps and directions and offered to print our boarding passes. The complimentary breakfast is a […] baguette with either ham or cheese and a piece of fruit. Coffee, tea, juice are also included. They pack it to go so you can either eat in the lounge or take it away. The breakfast was good and saved us time. There are lots of restaurants and cafes close to the hotel so there isn't a problem if you want to go out to eat. The room was neat and clean, but the layout was a little strange. It looked like the room was intended to have a double or queen bed, but since I asked for two beds they laid one bed along the wall and another across the headboard. The bathroom was also interesting because there isn't a shower or bath stall/curtain. The handheld shower is against a wall and a drain is in the middle of the floor. So if you're not careful you could get the entire bathroom wet and flooded because the water doesn't drain that quickly. I got used to the layout after a while. I still would recommend the hotel because of it's friendly staff and convenient location. Læs mere

Lady at the front desk made me feel like an idiot because I couldn't find my room, which had a decimal 616.1 Really curious behaviour as it wasn't on the wall when leaving the lift and others must face the same issue all the time.

I like the hotel a lot actually. The rooms were comfortable and the windows were very big and opened up, which I also liked. There is a button you can push in the room that gives the bathroom area a reddish glow. Something called Warmalampe or something like that. It seems geared more towards couples and less toward family though. As an example, the […] shower is separated from the rest of the room by a glass door which means you can see whoever is in the shower quite clearly until the glass fogs up. There is a mirror under the TV, which is mounted on the wall opposite the bed. If you lay on the bed and raise your head, you can see yourself in the mirror. Like I said, geared toward couples. There are fresh apples in the room everyday, which is a nice touch. My two peeves were that they didn't make up the room after our first day, which is not very good service at all. I was VERY upset about that. Also the breakfast is not sit down. They give you the food and you go elsewhere to eat it, which is weird. I loved the location. It was next to Tacheles, which is an artist collective. Lots of great places to eat right there on the same street and it's quite easy to walk to other spots on that side of Berlin plus the subway is just down the street as well. Very convenient. There is no wifi in the room, only in the lobby, another drawback. If you need to print anything, you can email it to the address provided by the front desk and they will print it out for you so that helps. All in all, i'd stay there again if I were only in Berlin for one night. Otherwise, i'd have to get assurances from the hotel that they will make up my room, but then you kind of have to ask yourself if it's such a good idea to stay at a place where you would have to ask for assurances that you would ordinarily assume you won't need. A lovely little boutique hotel.

great location, easy to get to places, nice rooms, great beddings. there is no door to the shower, only curtain so people should be comfortable about this. I stayed with my 16 year old daughter and we loves it!

The hotel no longer has the noise problems with a neighbouring night club. Its staff is professional, the rooms were spotless and air conditioned. Unless your room faces the road in front of the hotel you can open your room's window wide. The public transit around the hotel is outstanding with S Bahn, U Bahn and street cars. The Hotel Arcovelvet is in a great location, close to all the great spots for sightseeing and shopping but not yet it is not too touristy. The art squats next door make it a funky, arty part of town.
